Greeted when we walked in. Two nice and large non-gender bathrooms. A variety of bottled alcohol beverages to choose, plus Coke fountain drinks and a variety of lemonades. An 11" pizza $11.99, a large variety of fresh bases and toppings to choose from if you aren't interested in the popular MOD creations. Baking takes around 10 minutes. Plenty of indoor seating; enough for a group and catering is an option. The pizza was perfectly baked; we needed a fork because we piled on the toppings. The staff is so helpful, happy and kind. Worst pizza; had to ask for extra cheese 3 times just to make it a decent/normal amount. Toppings were sparse - literally one pepperoni piece per slice. I don't know if the person making it was trying to be frugal or if they were just not trained properly. Crust was thin and didn't have the usual texture (this location's oven can be hit or miss for a proper bake). Won't be coming back to this location. The only reason for 2 stars is that the people working were polite. read more

The best thing about MOD is being able to create your own pie. I start with a mad dog and create a junkyard dog! It was understaffed, with just 2 people on the line and ringing up tickets. they spend more time preparing app orders and ignore the folks in front of them. read more

For fast food their pizza is decent. Thick crust isn't really very thick but has good enough flavor. In Forest Grove there is a local pizza place that is much better but if you need a quick okay pizza it's not bad. read more

I haven't had any of the problems I've heard about at this location. I like Mod because I can create some wacky pizza with whatever I want on it. All the spicy things, or pineapple and ranch if I feel like it. I gave it 4 stars because there is better quality pizza in town and it can be a bit inconsistent. Overall a good place though. read more

Greatest thing to come out of the PNW! This was a new location and the employees seemed to be slower/ maybe still in training. The pizza was great they have new mushrooms pesto which was delicious! Overall LOVE Mods! Super yummy and good for the price, but recently they been slacking. Late in order times, which I can understand they do get rushes. I placed my order through the app which said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I showed up 20 minutes after I placed the order because I know they're usually busy during dinner. I went to the pick up counter and my order was never made. It didn't even leave the register. One of the employees said he didn't even see it. I know mistakes happen so they made it right away while I waited in my car for it. I went back into the store 15 minutes later and got my pizza. When I got home, my pizza was super underdone, I had to finish it in my oven at home. I was very disappointed tonight and I love Mod. read more

I was traveling through the gorge and stopped in the Dalles looking for a place to eat and I saw Mod pizza. They made a pizza for me and it was very good. The place was clean and well pulled together. So I get hungry for pizza and I'm in Forest Grove. I try the MOD Pizza in Forest Grove. First off I noticed the employees have a different vibe. You can tell they're from the slacker tribe especially by the way that they dress. No big deal just a different feel. So I order my pizza expecting it to be as good as the one up in the Dalles. I also ordered a Caesar salad. I started smelling the preservative off of the salad in the car it was strong. When I opened it up at home the smell was overwhelming so I just threw it out. When people eat salad they don't want to smell and taste preservative Not only is it gross it's unhealthy. So the salad went straight into the garbage can. When I open the pizza I noticed it was nothing like the one that I got up in the Dalles. Very sloppy and poorly prepared. I had asked for a little bit of pesto sauce on the top. They slathered it with so much pesto you couldn't even hardly taste the pizza. Thank you slacker crowd for confirming my preconception about slackers. They don't care about their jobs they don't care about making a good pizza they don't care about anything. This was my first time there. I usually give a restaurant a second chance so I will go back and get another pizza but if the next pizza that I get from them is like the last one I will never return. Keep in mind that I inform my friends, my family and my colleagues about bad experiences and restaurants. I also write reviews. The reviews are right are fair coming from a background in hospitality and food service. Just know that other MOD Pizza's locations have a better reputation than the one in Forest Grove. The one in Forest Grove better get it together or they're not gonna be in business for long. Lastly, about the salad preservative. I don't consider a salad that reeks of preservative to be fresh at all. That's the number one thing that needs to be fixed. read more
