Underrated!! Best pizza in Hillsboro/Beaverton area. Fresh and delicious! Worth the drive.

Well after driving by this place for years we finally decided to go ahead and try it.the price is not bad we had the meat lovers and cheese pizzas with bread sticks. The meat lovers with jalapeno was delicious and the cheeses good they were really really greasy to the point of the box was just about soaking look at my pics the oil is heavy on the folds of the box.and the aftertaste was a old oil taste the breadsticks had a similar flavor I'm gald we tried them but don't remember think we'll be back it wasn't bad but definitely too greasy. OMG... we love, love Moto pizza! Pro tip, call ahead and you can drive thru and pay and get it hot! Now the pepperoni, cheese and Hawaiian are all $13. This pizza is crusty and greasy and crazy good! I wish they had delivery but that's OK. The best deal is the $4 breadsticks covered in butter and parmesean cheese served with a big cup of pizza sauce. Eat these on the way home! Since all the pizza on the west side is not the pizza of my dreams, I have pretty much decided not to eat it. I mean it's not good for my decrepit old body anyway. My 15 yo is another story. Literally, she wants all the pizza all the time. She says there is no such thing as a bad pizza. Ikr. I mean the kid eats salad and salmon and whole grains and artichokes. But she is still a kid. Kids like pizza. My teen had a friend over for a sleepover and wanted this pizza. When I worked in Hillsboro I used to pick it up for her occasionally on the way home. It has a drive thru. It is dirt cheap. A large pepperoni pizza is $7. You can hardly get a burger for that lately. The ladies are very nice. It is hella fast. ( I am looking at you Bellagio's with your 70min wait). You drive up to the window, order, pay, get handed a pizza. You are done. Four min tops. Only once did I have to wait around the side while a pizza baked. Maybe ten minutes that time. Her friend came with us in the car and I told her it is like school cafeteria pizza. The friend and my kid, whilst eating it right out of the box as I pulled away from the place, said with full mouths in unison, " no it is better." It is really greasy. I could hear their little teen arteries clogging. I gave them fruit at home to balance that out a little and was happy when they went for a long walk to play pokemon go. Still. They were happy. And I was only out $7 plus tip. Is it gourmet and delicious with fancy ingredients? well no. Not that kinda place. But it works. I give it a four. Teen says 5. I can't do that in good conscience. Somewhere to the east, a city is trying. Somewhere, places with names like Lovely's 50-50, Apizza Scholls, Ken's Artisan, Escape From New York, Scottie's, and Sizzle Pie--hell, even Hotlips and Atlas--prove that even a relative pizza wasteland like Oregon can make somewhat average to above-average pizza. Somewhere, there's good pizza. That somewhere isn't Moto. The family wanted to get something quick, and I outright refused another dough circle from Papa Murphy's (just cook the thing, willya?). Little Caesar's was backed up, so one of the nieces suggested this place. The result was just sad. First, a $10 pizza is the cheapest you have here? Really? In Jersey that's still the going rate for a regular neighborhood pie. Second, what was this place? I don't mean when it was a Little Caesars: When it was built. I'm guessing there were car hops and doo-wop and greaseball burgers... and that nobody's done anything but put orange boards on the window since. That's when I knew we were in for it. We ordered about $30 worth of "pizza" and brought it home. When we opened the boxes, I realized just how far supermarket frozen food aisles had advanced. You have to go pretty deep into a supermarket's generic brands to find one as lifeless and half-hearted as this. The oddly ketchupy sauce, the fatty "cheese," the cardboard crust. All the bad memories of '80s and '90s freezer pies came rushing back, and I didn't appreciate the PTSD. I can see how the Ochoa family built a mini restaurant empire right across the street. I can see how Peppers packed their place pre-Covid with this right outside the window. I can see why the parking lot in front of the cop shop is still seeking food carts. Moto isn't a neighborhood pizza place: It's an exercise in just how far some people will let their standards slide for the sake of keeping the bill to $10. This place doesn't do pizza well, it doesn't understand a value proposition, and it doesn't seem to have any shortage of suckers looking for a taste of low expectations. I think too much of myself and my family to ever darken this drive-thru again. read more

Food gets 3 stars. Not the best I've ever had, definitely not the worst. Crust was slightly crispy but soft in the middle. Lots of stringy cheese which I love. They really need to update their site as they list deserts on their site but down sell any. Customer service could use improvement as I take to the typical "I'd rather be anywhere else" attitude person over the phone. One lady was professional. One was not. But hey it's about the pizza, not brilliant customer service. read more

How is this place still this good after so many years? An old Little Caesers bought out by an employee back in the day and rebranded locally. This place has offered up hot pizza on the fly for the better part of a decade. Fantastic when you eat it straight out of the box, burning your lips and fingers as you drive away...leaving a grease spot on your car seat...this isn't pizza for an elitist or pizza snob...this is just straight up fantastic, greasy goodness! Don't think too hard or expect too much...wash it down with a cold beer and enjoy the simple things in life...I would take this pizza any day over the artisan blah blah blah...best pizza in Portland? Pizza was EXTREMELY greasy and it wasn't even that cheap it was $10. The employees seemed nice although they gave me an "extra" pepperoni pizza that some other customer didn't want. Ghetto pizza is the term - it's cheap and it's fast, and you get what you pay for. I wanted to like this place for some cheap eats, especially based on the other reviews. But, alas, it's not to be. I give it +1 for value and +1 for speed, but that's it. The pizza is probably the blandest I've ever had - even for ghetto pizza - and I've had my share. It had very little sauce, if any. The cheese was weak, even if there was a lot of it, and the pepperoni might as well have been tofu. Imagine wonder bread with melted cheese-like and meat-like substances and that's about it. It looked OK coming out of the box, so I was mildly surprised that it was so tasteless. As a drive-thru it's a bit confusing - I guess you are supposed to enter coming off of Baseline, but that doesn't work when some people come in off of 10th also. Either way, be prepared to negotiate yourself out of a situation when you come head on with another car going the other way. The service was just fine - nice Hispanic ladies - the folks that come with the territory around these parts. This location used to be a Little Caesar's years ago, and I think it's been going downhill since then. For fast and cheap pizza, it's not as fast and cheap as it used to be! You used to be able to get a hot'n'ready pizza in 30 seconds (or it was free!) and it was only $5. Now, you can expect a wait time of 5-10 minutes, and expect to pay $7 for a pepperoni pizza. Still, a relatively quick and affordable option if you just need to get a pizza or two and you don't want to pay out the bum for it. It's not my preferred option, but it'll do in a pinch. On the upside, the service is always really friendly and nice. read more

Moto is my go-to pizza place when it comes to cheese pizza, I love theirs. They're so affordable, the wait time is perfect (longest I've had to wait is 7 minutes) and polite workers. It's really cool that they have a drive up window. They're actually the only pizza place I've been to with a drive thru window and I'm sure for many this would be a definite plus. Their pizzas are made fresh and I think they have just the right amount of each ingredient and it all comes together nicely. Ive been to moto pizza 3 times in the last two months. Every time i went there, there was no pizza ready to go. Evey time, it will be 7 minutes they said. Isnt this supposed to be a quick pizza stop? I mean you are giving up quality for speed and price, right? So each time, i left, drove around the corner to little ceasars by burgerville, and they had pizza ready to go. This place definitely surprised me in a good way. After reading some reviews that people posted I had very low standard for the pizza from this place. But my experience was definitely changed my opinion for Moto pizza. I pulled up to the drive through window ordered pizza. Eight minutes later pizza was ready for me to pick up. My son and I passed a couple of pizza outfits to try Moto Pizza. I would like to talk about the pizza quality (or lack of it) or the convenient drive through or even the friendly service. But we didn't get any of that. Instead we pulled into the drive through and waited second in line for more than 10 minutes. I wouldn't normally wait that long with no cars behind us but my son and I started thinking it was amusing that the employees would so blatantly disregard it customers. We decided to go in and find out what was going on and we were greeted by a young Hispanic girl who spoke little English. We were served our pizza and breadsticks along with a 16 oz glass bottle of Fanta orange and we were on our way in less than 3-4 minutes. As I was standing at the counter I asked the cashier why the drive through was taking so long and she said 'yeah'?!? As we pulled away, the same truck was parked in the drive through and the was a new car waiting in second place. There is clearly a problem with customer service at Moto Pizza and even a bigger problem with their drive through times.
