Horrible even after walking in to order. They constantly screw up my son's pizza and even salad delivery order so I walked in to order and they still screwed it up !!! Ordered a custom entree size salad (called the mod) but ended up with a mini side salad after standing in line for 20 minutes. Then when I asked for oil and vinegar dressing the worker said they don't have it. I said, it shows right here on your 8 choices of dressing. He said oh, I'm thinking, are you friggin kidding me !!!! Ordered the most simple pizzas on the menu and holy smokes love the personality there. The manager being sarcastic to his employees and the employees being aggravated because of the manager and now the employees are being short with the customers. Another welcome food option in this area. This is a sort of Subway-style pizza place where you order at the counter, watch them load up your desired toppings, and then wait for your order number to be ready. The pizzas were actually quite tasty. The primary issue with this location is that the service is super slow. We went when it was not busy and waited quite a while for our order to be taken and for the food to come out. We've since opted out of coming back due long lines. Hopefully, this is just growing pains and they will be able to streamline their assembly line and food prep. This restaurant definitely has promise and I hope to try it again in a few months to see if it has improved. read more

When we went it wasn't busy and had no issues ordering other than we got charged twice for our pizza but it was corrected quickly and staff seemed friendly and helpful. The pizza was crispy and good in our opinion and we will go back. They also have chocolate type desserts that my husband loved! read more

I'm at MOD now and quite frankly it's annoying and stressful. 25 people in line and so slow. I understand it's new but they had 9 employees at the order area and were moving at a snail's pace. Plus every half minute a guy is screaming "HOT!" when a new pizza comes out plus anytime a team member left they are screaming Bye (first name)! And when people walk in the door they're yelling welcome to MOD louder than a sushi restaurant says irasshaimase and again yelling when people leave. Just too loud and not a relaxing vibe. I have been to 2 other similar concept pizza joints a few times and the overall process is much quicker. Here it took a good 18 minutes to order and after the pizza was sent to the oven it took another 9 minutes to receive. Just not worth the long time. I thought it was more of a quick turnaround pizza cooked in a very hot temp oven. Also the crust is so thin it should be considered flat bread pizza. I also don't think there is enough tomato sauce on the pizza. They spread the ladle around and the amount clearly doesn't cover but 70% of the pie. Portion size is small and unfilling and they skimp on toppings. Maybe they'll get better but I definitely would pick Papa John's or Domino's over this place and that's not saying much. On a positive note they have free Wi-Fi and the staff is nice and energetic. read more

Try to make this a quick review of Mod Pizza, I had higher hopes for this pizza place even being a fast food style since many of the pizza places here just aren't good. We order 2 pizza and a cheese bread, a salad and faceless cupcake - I ordered the thicker crust and all the cheese ran to the center since the crust seem to bubble on the outside of most slices. when you looked at the pizza you could see all the bare areas on it, they should have remade the pizza. - Try to recreate a Gilroy Garlic Pizza, this was thin crust and it was OK, but nothing I write home about - Cheese bread as OK, but they forgot the dipping sauce - The salad was good, we got the dressing on the side and they didn't give a lot of it. - I ordered the Pumpkin Faceless cupcake thing and instead got a different one, if I knew it was a simple dingdong or what ever they are called I wouldn't have spend 3.xx for it, total waste of money Over all the staff was nice but understaffed, they were working fast and hard and we were 15 mins over the time the pizza's should have been ready. The taste is the care used when making pizza, I could have bought a frozen HEB pizza and cooked it in the over to get about the same results, they really need to work on dough flavor and watching the pizza, bubbles should be popped when cooking so the cheese doesn't move and and bare spots to appear... My family and I came into this location on 6-22-24. There were 4 of us, walked in at 10:30 pm. Door was open and establishment advertised an 11pm close time. Walked up to the line to order the pizzas. Was waited on by a white girl wearing a beanie. Didn't get her name, but was the only one wearing a beanie. She made sure to tell us they were closing in 30 mins. This was the first thing she said. We responded with we will take the food to go. She was visibly bothered by this and proceeded to rudely ask if we are ordering off the menu or if they were build your own. We said they were going to be build your own. She then banged the marker in her hand on the counter three or four times and threw it in a cup. This was the marker she would have used to mark down our order. She then turned her back to us and stomped away as if she was furious that we were ordering so close to closing time. Told her never mind at that point and said we would go somewhere else. Also said if you don't want to make pizzas at 10:30 then lock the door and stop advertising an 11pm close time. MOD was one of our favorite places to go, guess I'll have to spend my money elsewhere, because I'm not going to a place that will treat paying customers this way. Management needs to address this before they loose more customers. read more

Probably the worst pizza I've had. Combine young staff, below average ingredients & you have a recipe for failure. My 2nd go around to their franchise & another utterly disappointed experience. Location is great & some of the staff on the line were attentive. When I walked in the cashier was yelling & during my time in there it seems she continued her strange behavior. Not sure if you choosing not to tip influence their attitude but her demeanor shifted immediately once my transaction was processed. People by the oven were a continuation of same behavior as well. The new Mod Pizza on Ronald Reagan is fantastic. The service is good but could be faster on the weekends. They have a line out the door on Friday and Saturdays so either more help or faster help......well, would help. So sad to walk into my favorite Mod Pizza today and have such a bad experience on so many levels. First the young kid chewing gum and blowing bubbles. Not making the crust right and not knowing what a white sauce pizza was. He didn't distribute the ingredients on the pizza evenly but clumped them all in the middle of the crust. Six people were waiting at least 20 minutes for their takeout orders. One of the employees dug some eye dirt out of her eye and continued to handle food. Another employee coughed into an ungloved hand and handled food. The beverage station was disgusting and didn't look like it was cleaned all day. We were there around 4:39pm on a Saturday. October 26. We usually eat there every week but won't be back for a long time hoping these problems will be addressed in the mean time. Please do better. read more

This was my first time to mod, I had heard from friends it was a good place to go with food restrictions. I have a dairy and bell peppers allergy, I was very disappointed when I saw the disarray the pizza making station was in. Cheese was in every bin nearby. I told them I had a dairy allergy, they said ok we have dairy free cheese. When they put the sauce on my pizza I hoped it didn't have regular cheese mixed in. They put very little sauce on. The sausage had green bell peppers mixed in it. The station was just gross. The drink station was not better, for this being a newer location I would have thought it would have been cleaner. Not to mention it took over 20 mins to order there was only 4 people in front of us. I definitely will not be back, mainly because I am worry about my health. I gave this location some time before I tried it. Big disappointment. Ordered two regular Mod sized pizzas between me and my two kids. Paid, tipped generously at the register before we got our food. My kids pizza takes 15 mins but ok, whatever. Quality was decent. Fast forward 30 mins later my pizza still hadn't been called. I walk up asking what is going on and it turns out someone had "mislabeled" my food order. The pizza had been sitting in the window being ignored. Cold as a rock. Instead of asking me if I'd like a new one or for it to be warmed up, he hands it to me. Nothing more. No customer service attempt whatsoever. So I ask for a to go box, and didn't bother talking to a manager I'm not the type to cause a stink. I will never give my money to this place again.
