Been here a few times over the last few weeks. Staff is friendly and patient, and for the first time, actually let us know that there is a dairy free cheese option when they noticed that we were ordering no cheese. We didn't even know! Docked a star because they waited for the 6 people behind us to order before putting our pizzas in the oven with everyone else's when I'm used to it going in as people order (oven was empty). Their Marion Blackberry Lemonade is a must! So good and balanced in flavor. I usually do a regular pizza with marinara + pesto sauce, spinach, mozzarella and asiago cheese, pepperoni, spicy sausage, mushrooms, onion, diced tomatoes, and top it off with buffalo sauce. Crust is crispy, flavors are good and portions make for a satisfying personalized pizza. read more

Came here tonight (7:00pm) and this place feels like it seriously went downhill. A lot if toppings are empty, soda machine out of order , no beer options ( sign says draft beer , but there is no draft beer and hasn't been for awhile ) , all the tables are dirty , not wiped off. Tonight they were behind the employees said on online orders. They did take our orders and they told us that we had to buy medium pizzas that they don't make personal pizzas anymore. Very disappointed in the customer service this evening. We had to buy three medium size pizzas and they were not checking to see who paid either. They thought I had paid but if I wasn't such an honest customer I could have just walked out with our pizzas. They had customers walking out and this is the first time I've been in this mod pizza establishment. I've only had it in Florida where it was excellent. Food is good but app prediction for pick up time is always way off. Sitting for 20+ minutes when it said to be here at a specific time is ridiculous. They also have not once remembered to include the side sauces we order which is frustrating because we don't always remember to check and shouldn't have to if we specified. read more

Brought my two kids in after a long play session at the park cause they wanted some cheese pizza. So happy I chose to stop by mod. Although it took a little while to get our pizza, Tiffany went out of her way to accommodate us and make sure my kids had a great time. They were so happy they asked to come back before we even left. If I could give zero stars I would. Walked in to pick up pizza. Stood at the register for about 6-7 min no one asked if the could help me, or if I was here to pick up. But they sure had time to chat amongst themselves. I had to finally say "excuse me, I'm hear to pick up an order. Once where were home here are what the pizza looked like. Who center loads a pizza like this? Just laziness, the frustrating part is...I'm the one paying for you to lazily and half-ass make my food. They were making everyone in line wait while about 6 or 7 employees only fulfilled online orders. The employees had rude attitudes towards everyone waiting in line like we were an imposition. You can tell they have shifted their focus to online orders and their customer service has tanked. It would have been easy enough to have at least one of the employees take care of the in person customers. read more

Always awesome pizza! But unfortunately the staff were all distracted or bored or something, just pretty much absent. When I asked the first girl for spinach, I got a small handful on half my pizza and about 2 leaves on the other half. Chopped garlic was spooned on in 3 big dollops, so I got 3 giant bites of garlic while eating my pizza. The chick at the counter was severely unimpressed with everyone around her and stared at me with deadpan eyes when I was politely bantering. It wasn't busy but they were all quite disconnected and uninterested. If you go here for the crazy good pizza, just be concise about your instructions when they make your pizza! The line was almost out the door yet I didn't wait longer than 15 min for my freshly made pizza since the time I got there . The business model of putting online orders as the priority when you have people standing inside, in line is absolutely ridiculous! We waited in line for 15 minutes while the employees continued to make the online orders and never once addressed that fact that we were standing there waiting. This is horrible customer service and there needs to be a better way to take care of the indoor customers while still being able to make the online orders.... Absolutely terrible customer service! After visiting this location several times the pizza is always inconsistent. The worst part is each time we place internet orders they never are able to have your pizza ready when they say they will. I have seen people walk in the store and order and leave with pizza before my internet order has been completed. I don't understand how that is even possible, since I ordered 30 minutes before my arrival!! read more

So, I pretty much would classify MOD Pizza as being ok. I'd recommend for a quick and cheap meal. I'm not necessarily one to go out and eat pizza at a restaurant, pizza for me is a quick Friday night I-don't-feel-like-cooking meal, unless it's wood fire pizza at a brewery or nice establishment, then we are talking! MOD is definitely more of a family establishment, there were a ton of people with kids in there. It was pretty busy. It's cool because they have the mini pizza's for the kids. I can see how this place attracts large families. It's a reasonable deal too. I actually prefer Pieology over MOD. I think it's the dough for me. I thought the dough at MOD was really soggy. A few pros is that MOD has a ton more sauces and ingredient choices than Pieology however, Pieology was way better in the taste department, in my opinion. I love the whole idea of build your own pizza, choose ANY ingredient and as many as you want for no extra charge. They really have that aspect going for them. I'd come back. It does the trick if you're looking for a quick and cheap meal at a kid friendly restaurant. I'd for sure ask them to cook my pizza a bit longer next time. read more

So this location of Mod Pizza is not "super fast" at all. I walked in, stood at the counter, and waited about 4-5 minutes for an employee to walk over and help me. There were 4 employees behind the counter folding boxes and talking to each other. There were no other customers in line in front of or behind me. I ordered a small salad. Prices have increased recently, but the salad has gotten smaller. 3 weeks ago I ordered the same salad in Bend and it was twice the size and only $4.47. I paid $6.27 for this weak salad. Not all gluten free crusts are created equal and they managed to make one that didn't distract from the flavors or ruin it completely. Ate half of the pie and was done. The customer service is really bad here, most of the workers are incredibly rude, to the customers and each other. I love the food, but with the way they make it, you have to ask for more of something 3-4 times to get the amount of toppings you want, and they act like it's coming out of their own personal stash. I wish I went to the Oregon city Mod pizza. The service in Oregon city is way better and disappointed that I wasted my time at the happy valley location. read more

As a modified diet consumer: I'm very unsatisfied with this location. We asked for non-dairy cheese as they bost this option. When we asked for this we were immediately and aggressively told they would not verify our meal would be dairy free: as their work station was so messy 'cheese is everywhere '. Really.....???!!! We went when this place first opened and decided that the pizzas were a little too small for the price (compared to other places) and that they were kind of stingy when you wanted toppings the way you want. We decided back then to cross off Mod Pizza from our list of places to go out to eat. Today we chose to give it one more try and each ordered their regular 11" build your own. We still had to play the "more, more, more" game when it came to toppings. The staff shouldn't be so tight-fisted with the toppings. You'd think that they were paying for the stuff themselves. Our food came quickly enough, and the people were pleasant enough, but the food just isn't good enough to bring me back. About halfway through your first piece all you can taste is salt. All-in-all, just crumby pizza. Two stars because the place is clean and the staff pleasant. The food is one star. read more

Terrible customer service! Do not recommend going to this location! I have set an online order and arrived for pick up after the given wait time only to sit there and wait for another 30 mins! I walked in and notified them with my name and online pickup order. I sat there for the longest time like an idiot. All the customers who were there before and after I arrived already left by the time I finally decided to get up there and ask for my order. There were 5 employees at the time and none bothered to ask anything. All comes down to me getting a cold pizza and having the wrong sauce on it. Seriously amazing pizza with an amazing Dutch Bro personality with ALL the staff. Subway like ordering of the many selections of veggies, meats, cheeses and drinks all to the way you want it!! No real regrets as to calories cause again, you have it made EXACTLY the way you want! No pre-made style expectations. Staff checks in as they interact with their patrons and is ready to satisfy any complaint you may have (we had zero complaints). Atmosphere is modern and friendly. Location is amazing!! This was our first visit to a MOD pizza and it was great. The pizza was delicious and they were generous with toppings. The roasted veggies are easy to eat vs raw veggies which never cook enough on pizzas. The pepper selection was great and I decided to be brave and try roasted corn and it was very tasty paired with the pineapple and peppers! We will be back! read more

Mod has been a godsend since I had to go gluten free. I can get a gf pizza with as many toppings as I want for one price. Of course the food is delicious, but the Clackamas location has such a great team, that we look forward to going to see them as well.
