Broken process at this place. It was busy, chaotic and not worth it. The line moved but overall it took way too long to get to our order. I got a bottled coke and was not offered an opening at check out, went to the drink fountain and couldn't find one so I asked and had to go around the counter to get it open pushing through the crowd, the guy at the register had an attitude like he was doing me a favor. I asked how we get our pizza and was told they'd call us, I asked if I needed to wait there and they said they'd be loud. We could never hear any orders from our table and when we went back up they had given one of our pizzas to someone else. Visited the day before their grand opening and thought the pizza was fantastic! I tried the Tyler, which has red sauce, pineapple, canadian bacon, and regular bacon. Loved it. While this was the best pizza we've had in the humble area the service was terrible. 1/2 a dozen employees were available to help but most were standing around and moving slowly. There was a perceptible air of "we don't care". No one was available to check customers out, when cashier did appear he was clueless regarding orders. Assembly area was dirty, food was strewn on floor, one employee was dusting off dough in a questionable manner in a trash can under a counter. Would suggest training to speed assembly line process and a good management team that encourages better work ethic and cleanliness from employees. I can tell they are capable of better. read more

I have officially ordered my last pizza from this mods location. Every time I come it's something different. Either it's an extra mystery topping, the crust is black, the crust looks like it's lost a match of tug of war, it's not made the right way that I ordered it, or all of the above. (I order through the app so maybe the process must be supervised to be right) Additionally many of the employees are super rude and won't even thank you for coming. I swear Mr. J. Lopez is Mister Mod Pizza for sure! He is so kind to his customers, his employees, and was incredibly kind to me. I have been going to this location since it opened. Some time ago, she must have been a new employee, and while I waited for her to slice my pizza into pieces, she had too many boxes backed up, not knowing what to do next-completely confused. He was so kind and understanding to her and her situation, and I was amazed. I don't think she's there anymore. We drive from Crosby to Mod almost every time we want pizza. My wife and I can get each of ours exactly like we like it with no fights over toppings. We also share a Caesar mini salad. They typically get it out very quickly. We had a mini problem tonight where one of our pizzas got lost but John took great care of us making sure they remade it very quickly. The first few times I had pizza here it was good, nothing great but a good alternative to what is offered in the area. Yesterday I ordered online and when I got my order it was not good. I ordered the dressing for the salad on the side which they did not do. That in itself is not a deal breaker but they left out several ingredients I ordered. The pizza was not good, the worst part being the purple onions, it was as though they had realized after baking the pizza that I wanted onions on it so they just threw some raw ones on before putting the pizza in the box. Additionally, they were huge pieces of onions that needed to be cut prior to eating. Not ready to write this place off but hope they start paying a little more attention to detail read more

I really hope that management at MOD reads this and fixes the problem. It's the employees. This is the FIFTH time I have had a bad experience there , but the pizza's are the bomb so I have never written a negative review until now. As another reviewer wrote, the hispanic lady that works there on Saturday's is absolutely rude. I brought my sister from Iowa to try the bomb pizza. They started making the pizza's as soon as we told them the size. Red sauce, didn't matter that we wanted the white. I specifically asked for well done because 4 other times they haven't been fully cooked and it's gross (also another reviewer). Plopped the cheese on top of the red sauce and kept going. My sister stopped in her tracks and said "I did not want cheese but I do want spinach". The hispanic lady ROLLED HER EYES at us. Seriously? Wait until I freaking order to start putting toppings on. Every time I ask for extra mushrooms and every time I get exactly what the employee puts on there. I LOVE the pizzas when done right (to order as advertised). But I am done with them until I see more reviewers posting positive experiences about the employees specifically. I did write to the HQ already. I don't want anything free, I want the pizza and experience that brought me in time and time again. Employee's need a refresher course in customer service. I came here one night with my 3 children and I was very disappointed by the service here. First of all, their ranch didn't taste good. Actually, I disagree with myself, the ranch was pretty good. Sadly I was very let down by the employees here. I asked a man "Waitress will you please get me some more ranch." and he just looks at me, and walks away. Another problem I had was when we decided to sit outside to eat. First of all, the music they were playing on the radio was too loud and the music was very distasteful. Second, the lighting outside was very poorly lit. Third, the wind was super strong and was blowing away my napkins!!! Also if I might add, the quality of the napkins was AWFUL!
