First time trying MOD Pizza and all I can say is that it was very delicious. I ordered the Mad Dog pizza and added bacon and olives. I love the fact that you can add any toppings that you want and the price never changes. Order every topping they offer and your pizza will still be $7.87! This was our first time to try MOD Pizza and we got our pizzas to go. I customized my veggie pizza. I was expecting a crispy thin crust. We got our pizza home and my crust was not crispy at all. It was actually chewy like it hadn't been cooked long enough. They do have a very good assortment of toppings and are very polite with good customer service. I'm going to pop my pizza in the oven and hopefully crisp the crust up. I will give it another chance because I've seen other good reviews that mention crispy crust. Next time I'll make sure to ask for crispy crust. read more

We usually eat at the Mod on Gulf Freeway in League City and it's great. The staff are friendly and outgoing. Tonight, however, we tried this location on League City Pkwy. We arrived around 8:40pm. There was one female (that we saw) and at least three males working at the time. The woman was the first employee we encountered. She was very friendly. She started the prep of our pizzas, then passed us the the next guy for him to finish them while she started another order. This guy (male 1) was slightly less than friendly and came across as though he wanted to be anywhere other than where he was, but at least he finished making our pizzas. The woman then came to the register to collect our payment and again was really friendly. He went to the booths toward the back and found they were all dirty. We cleaned a booth and took our seats. When our pizzas were done, another guy (male 2) cut and plated them, called out our name, put them on the counter, then went into the back area. We both wanted the balsamic vinegar glaze, so we stood there and waited for him to come back out. When he did, my wife asked for the glaze and the guy seemed put out by having to do anything else, although he did (but with a crappy attitude). So we returned to our booth with our pizzas and began to eat. That's when another guy (male 3) came along and started stacking all the chairs at the tables that run right next to the row of booths where we sat. This was around 9:00pm (they close at 10:00pm tonight). As he was stacking them, I told my wife that him doing that made me feel rushed and unwelcome there. She agreed. A few minutes later, the same guy comes by sweeping the floor right next to our booth, which we found both disgusting and rude, and again out seemed like they were trying to rush us out. Anyhow, the cleaning and chair stacking continued throughout the place. Now don't get me wrong, I realize they need to clean and I would want the place to be clean. The diffence is, they were getting all the closing chores done an hour early and making it feel as though they wanted us to leave so they could go home. We found the men at this location to all be discourteous at best. The woman who was there when we arrived was super nice though. Anyhow, we will continue to eat at Mod Pizza, but most likely we will not return to this location anytime in the near future. This location and our usual location at I-45 and 646 are close enough to each other that it's well worth the extra few minutes to get to the I-45 location where the employees are much much much friendlier. read more

We have been here a handful of times and have left satisfied each time. There is normally a decently long line at all "rush hour" times of the day, but that's just to be expected. You're getting a freshly cooked pizza, with fresh toppings. Great staff, friendly, helpful, and clean kitchen! We'll keep coming back. read more

True to their word, ordering online was fast and easy. They only have one pizza size which is the 11 inch. I ordered the BbQ pizza since my 10y/o daughter loves bbq flavored anything. Upon entering found the store front and lobby to be clean and organized. The service was fast paced, but not rushed. The ingredients were fresh and I had no trouble getting extra toppings when asked. One of the things it says on their sign is that it is fast....it is not fast. We stood in line for over 30 minutes waiting to order our food. They have the pizza makers lined up in an assembly line which in theory should work. In reality it did not. You pick the ingredients you want as they go down the line and they kept losing track of which items were ours. The pizza was good. It is a flatbread type and you pick your own ingredients. The Caesar salad was fresh and the dressing was flavorful. When it gets to the cooking of the pizza it is fast. About five minutes. So i suppose that if you got there at a time when there were not a lot of people there you could get a quick meal. They have a drink bar where you can get different lemonades and teas. The blackberry lemonade was good. Not too sweet. The managers were friendly and talking to the customers in line and telling them about the place. I would go back.
