You can get unlimited toppings for $11.99 which is a pretty good deal considering all of the options they have. They have a number of sauces, about 10 meat options, a bunch of cheese options and a ton of veggies to choose for toppings. It's nice that you can pick your own combo to make your perfect pizza. I got a bunch of toppings on mine and it was delicious. It's also big enough to eat for two meals if you aren't starving. The crust is thin but holds up to even a bunch of toppings. read more

MOD used to be one of my favorite places to go with my family. After two less than stellar experiences back to back last year (incorrect order and a separate quality issue - they did make both right) I stopped patronizing them. Tonight, my spouse is out of town and I didn't want to cook so I decided to order salad and a pizza online. I submitted my online order at 6:17 and got an email that said it would be ready at 6:30. As I was just a few doors down, I was there within two minutes and checked in at the front with my name and then again at the counter where you pick up your order. I watched person after person come in order and get their food. 6:30 came and went, 6:40 came and went. I was trying to be patient but then I was the last person there. I finally approached the staff member at 6:47 and politely asked if my order got lost. He said he thought so and he was going to go look for it. Lo and behold, somebody had put my order on the wire shelf and it had been sitting there for "at least 15 minutes" getting cold. No one called my name (two staff members were already told my name anyway) no one bothered to investigate why everybody else was getting their first. While the staff member was sincerely very kind and offered to remake it and offered me a free beverage, I declined both because I had already been there for over 30 minutes, I had two small hungry kids at home, and honestly, the whole reason I went there in the first place and gave it another try was because I needed something quick. I didn't have another 15 minutes to spare. I almost never go out to eat and when I do, this happens. I know, I know. First world problems. Sure, my salad tasted fine, but it wasn't the cold crisp salad I was craving and was missing the basil I asked for. My pizza tasted fine but of course, it was cold. I really want to support these guys because the staff truly is the nicest and the store seems to do a lot for our community. I'm just so tired of being disappointed. Wah wahhhhh. read more

We really enjoy MOD but today we were totally turned off by one of the employee's hair being in long loose ponytails as she made food. What made it worse was she was moving her head side to side constantly causing her hair to swing over all the food. Prior to a few days ago my husband hadn't tried MOD pizza, so we ordered takeout from the Mill Creek location. We really appreciate the vast options for every preference in our household. Takeout customer service was as expected, our order was packaged and ready for pickup at the time of our arrival. We really enjoyed our meal, the salads were extremely fresh, the pizza or cheese bread were loaded with toppings, not a lot of bread. I have never been to an actual location, but I ordered a pizza and garlic cheese bread via Uber last night. (Im from California) I'm happy to report that it was mighty tasty. I really enjoyed creating my own! The prices were decent and easy to following online. When I received my order it was well packaged and still warm. This is specific to the Mill Creek store. Food is excellent. I love the pizzas and am even willing to deal with the service to get one. The staff however leaves much to be desired. For being such an "inclusive" place they sure are bossy and unfriendly. The service is slow and one person in particular was the "glass ledge police" making sure you put NOTHING on it, not even a drink. She stopped an order to come over to the other end of the location to scold me and point out an ambiguous sign. I miss the days where service people were kind. read more

I went in a couple times to eat and I noticed the owner is always there, friendly attentive and helpful. But.....The owner also sits in the eating area full time and appears to be micromanaging or helicoptering his employees. I always pay for my drinks despite if I get food or not. I did the curbside pickup. Placed order and went to the parking lot to pick up. I actually was parked right in front. When placing the curbside order they ask the make model and colour. We arrived maybe10 min early so we waited. I noticed people sitting and standing at the tables. I was shocked especially during the Covid19 pandemic. I saw maybe 10-15 people waiting. Shocked! 10 minutes after my scheduled pickup I called. Associate Jackie called we verified my and it was ready however sitting in the window. I ordered a salad for delivery on 4/29. Upon my second bite, I felt something puncture the roof of my mouth. Once I pulled it out I discovered it was an acrylic nail. Instant panic and debate on a trip to the emergency room but had to go to work. I reached out to this location, they were aware of which employee it was and said they would notify corporate and I should expect a call first thing Monday morning. I sent corporate an email as well detailing the incident and including the picture of the nail. It is now Wednesday and I have not heard back from them and was still charged for my order. I think 4 days is plenty of time to have at least received a credit for the order or a call from corporate, hence the review. read more

Let me start by saying that I supplied feedback/complaints to the business several times before leaving a review. I haven't seen any improvement, so here is my review. With a start like that, why even three stars? Because overall the flavors are good. Most staff members are friendly. That's. About. It. Plan to have the wrong ingredients added or the correct ingredients missing with your orders. Expect the pizzas to appear to be sliced by a drunk person, erratically different sized slices, most likely not cut through.....at all. I've started the game of "guess what ingredient will be missing and/or added!" . They seem to provide very little of the seemingly more expensive ingredients. Tonight we ordered a very simple salad with three ingredients outside of the lettuce and dressing. Well, we had to pick out the fourth ingredient throughout the salad. The ingredients we actually ordered were slim in quantity. My pizza of course was slacking on the ingredient side. It actually wasn't cut through at all! Some of the crust was burnt, but the dough on the bottom was near raw. I think it's a management problem. Whenever we order online, the system says it'll be 17 minutes. It's never 17 minutes. We sit and wait, with others. I'm sure that puts pressure on the employees to rush. This restaurant is consistently wrong in their orders. We've given them chance after chance because they are the only Mod Pizza close by. But, I get so frustrated with every wrong order that that may change. read more

This MOD Pizza location is large, staff is friendly, and food is good. If you've never been to MOD, then understand you will be getting a thin crust pizza that you design yourself. MOD means Made On Demand, and your pizza is just that. You select from over 30 toppings, or choose from a predesigned list. The thin crust pizza cooks in a matter of a minute or so, so you will get your food fast. And the taste is decent. In fact, it's good. And this location has the system down to an art. I also like supporting this business because they try to hire people who need second chances. They don't cut them much slack if they are dishonest, but they do give them a second chance and even allow for mistakes that an employee owns up to, corrects, and strives not to repeat. It's good to have businesses with that kind of mission. This location can get busy, but it's also large enough to handle the surges. This place is really cool! Pizza is fantastic and reasonably priced. They have a rule where they don't charge you for toppings so you can get everything on your pizza if you want! They have cool unique options you can choose or you can just build your own. It's like a subway but pizza. Cool, modern atmosphere with high quality eating areas that seem really clean. They accept Apple Pay. Workers say hi to everyone that walks in and are really helpful with the whole process. They are really friendly and personable and you don't feel like they're rushing you to hurry and order. Unfortunately, the line moves pretty slowly. With pizza being their core competency, you'd hope they would be a little more prepared to crank out pizzas but there seems to be a lot of bottlenecks in their process. The biggest being the oven. It took a while for my pizza to get into the oven. The utilization rate of the cooking process is high. Maybe a bigger oven or an additional one would help get orders completed at a faster rate? It sucks to see all these pizzas prepared and ready to go, but creating all this slack time while they wait to be placed in the oven. I'm really just brainstorming out loud here, I understand these are big changes. But there is definitely room for process improvement. read more

I've normally not had a problem here, but I had to write about my experience today. Let me start by saying it was super busy, probably because of the dine in fundraiser. None of the employees were really that nice. I assume it was because they aren't used to handling such a rush and they were stressed out, but then they need to be trained better or perhaps they should get a different job. I used to work at a restaurant that had to be fast service and we were super busy all the time, and we never had the attitude these employees had. If you can't handle a rush of customers, you shouldn't be in customer service. Anyway, their attitude isn't what my gripe is. My daughter and her two friends decided to sit outside in the front patio area. They decided to sit outside while i was waiting for our pizzas, and once they went outside they never touched the door handle to go back inside. So i get our pizzas, and go outside. Nobody touched the door until i pull the handle to go back inside to throw some napkins away. As i do, the bottom part of the handle slides and the lock comes off. So the bottom part is no longer screwed into the door and only half attached. As i scrutinize the door trying to figure out what happened and how the lock slid off, Literally within less than 10 seconds so i still didn't really understand what happened, an employee who was outside and walking by said they'd take the lock from me. I thought that was that, but then about a minute later, an employee comes out and tries to blame the kids for breaking the door. I told her no, it must have been like that from someone before me, i just pulled it like normal and it twisted. So she then went back inside and another couple minutes later another employee comes it and tries to blame me for breaking it. "Oh come on " he said after i explained again, it must have been like that i just pulled open the door. He didn't believe me, i could tell. If you have security cameras, use them. Look at what actually happened. I've never been blamed for anything like that before, and i left seriously stunned! Just because i find it like that doesn't mean I'm the culprit. They had such a rush, how many hours had it been since they'd been outside? How many people sat out there before we did? The actual guilty person probably broke it discreetly then left quickly, leaving the next person (me) to deal with it. This was one of my favorite places to eat, but after this i don't expect to patronize this place again. I'll go to the Everett location. read more

I ordered my food through the app and came to pick up about five minutes early. When I parked I noticed there was a long line and full of people waiting for their pizza. I called In to let the mod team know that I arrived. The gentleman that answered the phone told me that it was going to be about 30 minutes late due to how busy they were. As I sat in my car and watched customers ordering and I was amazed by the team. They were going fast with control and passion.I could've been unhappy with my order being delayed 30 minutes even though I ordered ahead of time but I couldn't after watching the MOD team at this location working so hard. There's a lot to like about MOD: cost, consistent quality, cool staff working hard and maybe even having fun. The thing that sucks about this place is the ordering process. The last two trips in here we ordered online selecting a time for pickup. The first time they were running 30 minutes behind. What's even the point then? This time I'm waiting with barely a line of three people and the order wasn't even started when I arrived - why give them an hour heads up if they're just gonna make you wait to even start the thing on arrival? Good on them for the good attitude and for cancelling and refunding our money for the first occasion, but just don't set us up to be disappointed. It makes me so happy to see how MOD is growing! A place where the food is fresh, the staff is happy and the drinks are amazing! I now have a ring of Mods around my neighborhood, and I couldn't be happier. My son and I came here with a gift certificate given to us by a friend, and we were excited to see this Mill Creek location. As usual, we were greeted by the pizza artisans when we walked in the door, and we're immediately impressed with the open airiness of the floor plan. Of course, there were the MOD accouterments -- wall of stickers, photos and plenty of seating. I already knew what I wanted; a MOD Maddy (basic cheese pizza, or as I like to call it, the base pizza. I added artichoke hearts, roasted garlic, mushrooms, and Gorgonzola cheese. I noticed roasted Brussels sprouts after I completed my order, and vote to try them next time. I must say, if you don't like thin crust, this may not be for you, but beyond that, if you don't like the pizza, it's not the restaurant's fault, because you choose your own toppings. From prep counter, right into the wood fired oven, the pizza is made right in front of your face. But, let's talk about the beverages now. Beverages are plentiful - a selection of teas and lemonades -- I am addicted to the caramelized pear iced tea, and cannot get enough. But this time, I decided to start with the marion raspberry lemonade. YUM! I bet it would be great mixed with the plain iced tea. Must try that next time! I also want to say the ice is my favorite kind. It's the fine, more chewable kind, rather than the cubes. THAT is why this will be my MOD of choice. Our pizza arrived, and was gorgeous. I was so enthralled with my pizza that I didn't see what my son ordered, but I know he inhaled it. My pizza was amazing -- perfectly baked with an amazing marriage of flavors! All in all, this is the best of the chain. Clean, well-managed and fast are key words to describe this place. The staff is sooooooo friendly and welcoming! We were at MOD for a school fundraiser, which is a win because pizza and supporting our school. I love a business that gives back to it's community! The whole MOD concept is great and I love the prices (seriously got 5 pizzas ...3 mini and 2 MOD and a couple San Pellegrinos and only $40?!). Where the MOD concept sucks is when both parties in front of you order exactly what they want multiple times (aka non-Classic pizzas) ;) I'm joking as of course we all want our pizzas exactly how we like them but it can make the line grow. Fortunately there were only two parties in front of us and not several like I saw when we left. I also lucked out as the kiddos were in tow and they did such awesome waiting (trust me...this is challenging for one of mine in particular to the point we rarely eat out as a family) that we opted to dine in....Shocker! And it was fabulous. It gets loud in there so you really have to be vocal to make sure your order is correct. No customer service issues as it was busy and they were moving, but I did have to repeat my order several times as it got passed off to the next person. Luckily it was simple so I could keep it straight. The kids remarked on how much they loved the music and I agree! My jam is the Caspian....gorgonzola, chicken, bbq sauce, red onion...did I mention gorgonzola?! ;) Next time the hubs will be coming back with us and we'll enjoy some of their great local beer and wine selection with our pizza. I was so excited to get a thin crust pizza, reminiscent of a new your style pie. When I arrived, I did not have to wait very long to place my order. I was able to ask for specific toppings. When my order was placed there was no one at the cashier counter. So I sat down and waited for my pizza to be done. When the gentleman called my name, I went to go pick up my pizza. He asked if there was anything I wanted else on top of it. I asked for some fig balsamic reduction to be drizzled on top. Unfortunately he drowned my pizza in the fig balsamic reduction. The pizza is now devoid of all flavor except the fig balsamic. When I went to the cashier, the guy asked me "did you not pay yet?". I said "no". He said "usually you pay before you pick up your pizza". I didn't say anything about the fact that there was no one there to accept my payment. I apologized and offered my payment. They may remember the pesto finish, they may not. They may be polite and friendly, they may not. The tables may be clean, they may not. Follow the pattern? Having said that, I like MOD pizzas. I like the thin crust, and the single price regardless of the number of toppings. They have a decent selection of beverages, both soft drinks and beer/wine. I like their little no-name cakes. Or if you want to build your own from scratch that's cool too! They have a variety of sauces to choose from. I always get BBQ but I need to try the white and pesto some time!!!!
