Ask specifically at least three times that we wanted tomatoe slices on both sandwiches. Neither had tomatoes. More on this under service. Both, regular customer eaters, said "something is missing" as the sandwiches tasted "tastsless" from the past. The lettuce, mayo mixture seemed to have no mayo and no flavor. Positive: the fries were excellent and so was the lemonaid. Serivce: NONE Asked for a couple slices of tomato and was told I could only get that if I paid for a side dish! I was too blown away to even argue. If the server, with a bad attitude, could not spare two slices of tomato (even if I was wrong) to keep a life long customer (50 years) and a good review, then something is seriously going wrong with this business. No one ever came by our table and asked if we needed anything, boxes, drink refills, nothing. NO SERVICE Ambiance: everything we expected and we are pleased with it.

I first tried MOD Pizza at PDX and was stoked when I heard they were coming to The Dalles. I now eat there regularly because they offer excellent and affordable pizza made to my preferences. Only $8.27 for an 11 inch thin crust pizza with UNLIMITED toppings. You can get thick crust for $2 more. First, you chose your sauce (red, white, or barbecue). I generally go with the red sauce. The barbecue sauce is a little too sweet for my taste. Then you select your toppings from a wide array of meats and veggies. Besides the typical toppings like pepperoni and sausage, they offer anchovies, roasted broccoli, roasted corn, etc. You can also add oregano and rosemary. After they bake your pizza, you can add a finishing sauce, such as ranch, honey, pesto, balsamic fig glaze, sriracha, etc. In essence, your pizza will be exactly the way you want it. They are super fast with very friendly service. read more

I was in for the first time last week, my experience went well until I seen a young man come forward to talk to me, perhaps it was about the pizza I was about to order. I immediately grabbed my 6 year old daughters hand and rushed out of there. Now a little into my private life we ago; roughly three years ago my nephew, my friends little brother and the same man who came towards me at MOD were at the pool; that man, Koby, who you employ attempted to sexually abuse my friends little brother! I will be warning all my friends who have children to refrain from coming to this establishment. I will never return nor will I spend my money here. read more

Friendly people and quick service go hand in hand when you're hungry right now. It's quite refreshing to walk into an establishment and have the staff just as eager as you about the pizza you're about to shove down the gullet in glee. Pizza! But for real, the staff are super nice and helpful with creating the perfect pie. A bonus that its super clean -never seen anything less here- but its the people that make the experience the best. It's the kind of customer service that doesn't seem like a transaction, it's too bad its not the norm elsewhere. read more

This was one of the most disappointing pizzas I have ever had. Kind of like a piece of pita bread with tomato sauce and cheese on top. Certainly not Lombardi's Pizzeria. I guess it's nice to have a new pizza place in town but I think the product should be edible. read more
