We watched a Blazer game here and it was a great experience. The selection of Blazer gear was great and seating was comfortable!

About three years ago, I had my first time visiting the Moda Center. We went to a Golden State Warriors vs. Trail Blazers game. It was a short visit, so I didn't get to fully experience the game day atmosphere, the concessions, or the general operations of the arena. I did get to watch my Arkansas team play in March Madness and a few other games. I sat in the nosebleed section, which was a bit challenging to see the opponents, but the games were still amazing. I attended all four games I could, so I don't have any complaints about that. The atmosphere was incredible. Although the stadium wasn't packed, the passionate fans made it feel like a packed house throughout the entire game. The game day experience was truly exceptional. The seating arrangement was a bit uncomfortable. The 300 seating sections felt like a 30-degree angle, with the seats positioned just a tad too close together, making them feel unsafe. It's as if you can almost feel yourself falling if you The lines for concessions and restrooms were not too long, which was a pleasant surprise. Getting into the arena was also quick. The arena itself appears modern and well-maintained, with no visible signs of wear and tear. Overall, I'm looking forward to visiting the Moda Center again in the future to see NCAA basketball games, professional-level games, or even concerts when I'm in Portland. I'm definitely a fan of this facility. read more

Great venue, quick to get in. But you do go through multiple metal detectors, which is fine. Everything moves very well except the women's bathroom line, as usual. I wish they'd figure out a better system. Items at concessions are overpriced, I wish they'd figure would take some notes from the Mercedes Benz stadium in Atlanta. The Moda Center is Portland's go-to spot for big sporting events, concerts, and other major shows -- and the atmosphere inside the arena is fun and energetic no matter what you're there for. The seating and sightlines are solid, and you're right in the middle of the action whether it's a Blazers game or a touring concert. The food selection is okay if you do not care about calories. I choose to eat elsewhere instead of the center. The bartenders pour to the shot glass, not a drip over. The sound system is outdated and needs an upgrade. What a beautiful venue. I was in town specifically for the Sigur Ros. My friend got my ticket so all I had to cover was my flight over. This was my first time at this venue. Parking was a little chaotic. Fortunately, we already prepaid for the space. We got there early enough that it wasn't too crazy yet. We had just enough time to use the bathroom and go upstairs to grab a drink. The area upstairs was super nice. There was far less people up there. I'm guessing it was due to most vendors not being open. All the food options I wanted were closed. Bummer We had amazing seats. There's no bad seat in the space. It's a pretty intimate space. We were to the side of the stage, just by the curtains that were partitioned to block off the area not being used. The acoustics was amazing. The orchestra that played with the band sounded powerful. The band sounded ethereal. It was my fourth time seeing them and they still hit like it's the first time. Let me not forget to mention the most important thing which is how amazing the staff was. What I remember most from this visit was how great the service in the city was. Every person we came in contact with was so friendly. They were all smiles, always said thank you like they were glad to see you there. The level of customer service I always appreciate when I'm out and about. Talk about teamwork cos the whole night was seamless. The entrance was smooth because they guided you and were there to assist if you had issues scanning your eticket. Security was a breeze for us since we had no bags. I'll definitely be checking their calendar since I stay down to clown when it comes to music. I'm for sure coming back. read more

The main reason we are in Portland was for Ben's birthday weekend. Part of a birthday trip for him is always seen some sort of sporting event. Basketball is the only professional sports team that ben watches that Portland has. He wants to see all arenas and stadiums, etc but if he has his wish, it would to see them while playing his favorite sports teams, which would be anything Denver though he does settle on a first visit with my teams (Detroit) or Tampa Bay (other than the Bucs, LOL). We had a great time during the game which we were winning until the end of the second half, where people began to sneak down to lower seats and they had small children with them that just continually screamed non-stop. Normally this would not bother us as everyone has a right to watch the game, however, when you do not pay for those seats, it is very rude to disrupt others around you by your behavior or those you are with. We paid our hard earned money to be able to enjoy the game and so should everyone else. Of course, because we were in the visiting team colors, we were in the wrong when voicing our dismay. Riiiiiight. But hey, our team won so guess we still got the last laugh. read more

The moda has always been a great place for so many events, my favorite being Blazer games. I've experienced many concerts and games under this roof. The moda is well kept, clean and accommodating. They offer many fun activities for the kids and offer family specials in sundays for blazer games. We enjoyed Portland vs OKC tonight and had a wonderful time. As far as parking, it can be a mess to navigate, especially when leaving an event. I recommend arriving early or paying for parking ahead of time when going to events. The only other downfall is the seats are narrow, uncomfortable and you feel like a sardine. Overall the Moda is a nice venue and offers many great events. read more

I've attended a handful of events here over the past 8 years. My first concert experience here was with Bruno Mars back in 2017 and that was epic. The venue was easy to navigate and relatively chill. The food and drinks options were good and I felt like the prices were reasonable or what you'd expect. The seats were comfortable and I thought the sound quality of the concert was great. And I mean it was Bruno Mars so of course the concert itself was incredible. I've also been lucky enough to attend a few events in one of the suites courtesy of my husband's employer which is such a treat. Being able to access the venue from the suite entrance, literally bypassing all crowds is so convenient. I do wish that the venue itself was newer and more updated just in general, but the ease of access is great and the seats are comfortable. Getting to see Jo Koy live was a real treat! read more

I've been to the party suite twice and hosted a large meeting in the Rose Room. The staff is friendly, accommodating and easy to work with. The Rose room is spacious and the layout is impressive. It's set up perfectly for catering needs and has a bar in the back. The AV is slick and the room is spacious, ample room for guest to mingle. The party suite is perfect for mingling or enjoying an event - great view and a good layout with the bar in the middle . Two restrooms and plenty of coat storage is located inside the suite so you don't have to leave. The staff is accommodating and friendly and the food is impressively flavorful, much better than other stadium suites. My concern is there are no controls to prevent uninvited guests from entering the suite once you're on that level. Both times, we've had strangers enter the suite and attempt to partake in our offerings. If you're not paying attention, this can easily slip. You have to scan your ticket at each suite door in other stadiums and now I understand why. If you get a chance to try the rolling dessert cart, it's pricey but super fun! read more

This is a great venue. It worked well for the rock concert I was in town for. There was a separate entrance for general admission (south entrance) for our concert (I'm not certain that's a regular thing). Staff worked the ticket holder line to pull us out and get us to that line. We were given wrist bands to show we were allowed in the area. Now some people may look at this as keeping us out of assigned seats, but to us, it kept seat holders from being on the floor! Since it was our first visit to Moda, when leaving we needed help finding the right area for rideshare vehicles. Here's where Moda staff failed. Four people sent us three different ways. It was not helpful. Plus, at least two had no idea. They should be educated about things like this. read more

If you're looking for an authentic blazers, Jersey do not buy it at the arena. The authentic jerseys are a scam. Here they put some stitching on top of the patches and then iron them onto the jerseys instead of selling them on, but still charge the same price. read more

HAD A BALL!!! (get it) Flew into Portland just to go see the blazers play OKC - what a great arena. It was so clean and I really look for that when going to NBA games. The restrooms were even clean- I did not expect so many people to be there although- it was TONS of people there!!! I went alone, and sat next to a dad who was there with his daughter celebrating her 21st birthday- they were so nice, they were so welcoming. They lived in Portland was from there. They even bought me a beer. The arena only takes card payments, no cash. I sort of did not like that but understood... I always use cash when traveling it just makes things faster but hey, just word of advice for my others Yelpers.... Card payment only. Also, make sure you try to bring the smallest bag or no bag. Because you will have to stand in the line just for purses and bags and it's little wait. Other than that, I loved the staff, and it was a great game, definitely will come back!!! * and make sure you grab a hotdog outside when the game is over and your a little tipsy and it's freezing cold and your heading out- the hotdogs was FIRE!!! read more

The arena attracts about 1.6 million visitors per year and generates an estimated $670 million annually in regional economic activity. This includes roughly $113 million in direct visitor spending at local lodging, dining, and retail. They shouldn't be touching money that is intended for public infrastructure not a bs loser basketball team bc let's be honest... it's not even competing in the NBA it's a sentimental home team that doesn't play very well. read more

We flew in from Phoenix to Portland to see Colter Wall mid-January. The concert was great the venue was nice, it was easy to navigate, the bathrooms were clean, the prices of drinks honestly weren't terrible. I knocked a star off for their customer service. We asked for directions to our seats, the gentleman didn't have a clue where they were. When we did find them someone was sitting in our (front row) seats and it was a bit of a hassle to get them removed. Just a few weeks ago I went to Portland and to the Moda Center for the very first time. I went to see Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds which was an excellent show! Oh, yes Nick was indeed playing in Seattle where I am much more closer to but the ticket prices were significantly higher than the Portland show so in the end the gig at Moda won out. I really enjoyed the show and parking while at first was confusing it was easily sorted out. I purchased a parking space along with my ticket and after going to the general area of where I should be parking I asked a gentleman who worked there, saw my ticket and the parking in addition and easily directed me where I needed to go. The show itself and how the seating was I appreciated as you could always see the performer facing you. A venue that is much closer to me I get reasonable priced tickets and get the far side of the performers and often their backs so I really liked the vantage points of the stage here. Of course like any arena there is plenty of snacks to partake and I got a donut to satisfy my sweet tooth that I had going on at the moment. I'd be thrilled to come back to Moda for another concert as overall my first experience and navigating around was fairly manageable. But on the flip side of the coin one thing about being the age I am and going to concerts at a young age and my bucket list to see performers is fair small. I take this as an advantageous approach mainly because just how out of control concert ticket prices have gotten. But in the case with Nick Cave it was quite doable and I will keep an eye on Moda for future events that may also be held in Seattle and compare the prices for tickets. If the Portland gig proves to be more reasonable then off I go back to Oregon. And I really love having an excuse to go to Portland not that I ever need to have one to go down there. read more

We've been here several times for concerts and basketball games and have always had a great time. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. We've never had any issues out of all the years we've been coming here. Bathrooms are well-kept and clean. Staff is always willing to help you find your way. Parking garages are a bit crazy but other than that, this place is always giving such good customer service. read more

We came to Moda to see Dinosaur Jr, Flaming Lips, and Weezer. Pretty cool venue and very clean. Staff was very helpful and helped when needed. Moda is pretty big and has multiple entrances. If you are taking the trail way, there is a stop right in front of the center. It is close to the convention center, Chinatown, and Downtown; in the heart of Portland. Our seats were located at the top but the view was amazing. It's not like the venues in LA where the performers look like ants running around the stage. The sound was good when Flaming Lips and Weezer performed so that was a plus. You can clearly hear what Rivers Cuomo and the rest of the bands were saying/singing. The seats were comfortable yet a bit close to each other but I was still satisfied with the experience. The concession stands are cashless. The concept is pretty cool. You scan your card to enter and then choose what you want to buy and walk out. It uses AI to charge the card that you checked in with. I am still wondering how that is done. Since we are not from Portland, I am not sure when I will be back BUT because I loved the venue, I will more than likely purchase concert tickets again and make a trip out of it. read more

I have a love for the Moda Center (cough cough rose garden) that is unmatched. I've been to just about every type of event you could think of. Concerts, monster trucks, football, bull riding, ice skating, comedians, and obviously Basketball games. I've sat from court side to the nose bleeds. And truly, there's no "bad" seats. I've enjoyed my time in every seat. Ticket prices to events, can range from fair to crying throwing up and screaming (hello Harry styles you hurt the bank) . I've paid $150 court side tickets, and paid the same for the 300 level. There's so many layers to the ticket price so take that in stride when you're getting to purchase. The concessions in the last few years have really stepped up, you can find local Portland favorites available. There's bars all over, and restrooms as easy to find. Not to mention Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and more available. Moda center is older than me, but feels updated and new. It's always so clean. Not to mention the artwork around the arena is original pieces from local artists. Since I'm always in a different spot it's always something I look forward to is seeing the art! They have impeccable staff doing the little details that go unnoticed by most, but make a huge difference. Staff are incredibly kind, smiling and genuinely seem to love what they do. Helpful with questions, knowledgeable of the arena. As well as I've witnessed staff go above and beyond for kids and creating those memories. If you have a disability or anything needing a little help/assistance they also, go above and beyond to make you feel... normal. (If not kinda like a princess). If you get the pleasure meet George from the Command center, know they are gem and will give you treatment that's above and beyond. I also have a soft spot for the Moda center for being the first to be certified by LEED. Meaning, the Moda center set a standard for other arenas to be sustainable. You'll notice this with their trash bins having recycling/compost/landfill. Not to mention the things they've done we can't see (fancy water toilets). I I have memories here dating back until the 90s and I'm sure I will make memories until the end. read more

There are public transit options right outside the stadium and parking available a short walk away that's fairly inexpensive, we paid about $8 for parking for our event. There were a few closed food stands, which is disappointing for a completely sold out concert, definitely made the lines longer at the places that were open. The food and drinks were VERY expensive, to be expected at a music and sporting event, but disappointing to pay $6 for a water bottle to just be poured into a cup, I prefer the bottle since I can close the lid so if it gets kicked over during the concert, it's sealed and doesn't spill! Luckily there are cupholders at the seats and the ushers are very helpful when you need help finding your aisle and seat number. The bathrooms were very clean and I barely waited in line, even going between the opener and the main act. read more

I had a great time at the WWE Smackdown event here last Friday. My one complaint is that they had three or four metal detectors for the bag line, but were only using one line. This caused the bag line to go much slower than the others, and I even overheard the staff complaining that they were told they couldn't open the other lanes. Someone should evaluate best practices here - people are gonna have bags! I liked the ease of being able to tap my credit card and grab a soda and go. I used that a couple times throughout the night. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they seemed to notice when I was looking for something and proactively offered to point me in the right direction. I also appreciated that the guest services area had ear plugs available. I would come back to the Moda Center again. read more

I'm a Golden State Warriors fan and came here to watch them play against the Blazers. I love how easy it is to get to Moda Center via public transportation. The line to get inside the stadium was long but moved fairly quickly. The staff from food vendors to security seemed to be great. The food options were decently priced. I love the charm of the old analog scoreboard that said "Blazers / Away". The Blazers fans seemed dedicated to their team despite them being in a rebuild mode. I admire them staying until the end of the game instead of leaving even if they had a large score deficit. read more

Friday August 30, 2024 I was a guest of my Dad's and some friends to the Jeff Lynne's ELO farewell Concert at the Moda Center. The show was amazing and beautiful. I used to work as a Facility Security Agent many years ago at the Rose Quarter Complex. It's still an amazing facility. Major changes have occurred over the years. The campus is now cash free. There are many scattered ATMs around that convert cash into stored value debit cards. The experience was amazing. read more

My wife and I visited the Moda Center back in July 2024 (the 13th) and I just realized that I never left a review. So, full transparency, I'm not a fan of huge venues like this... never have been. Everything is so overpriced (parking, drinks, food), but I enjoyed my visit because I saw my favorite band ever, blink-182, perform LIVE. Now, I've seen blink numerous times before but this was the first time seeing them in Portland. It was an amazing show (of course) and despite the prices, at least they serve Coca-Cola products! blink-182 forever! read more

Quality stadium with tons of food, drink, and gift options. My only concern was that it's super confusing once you are past the ticket taker area. I mean, I know there is a learning curve in every stadium, but this was a bit nuts, attempting to sync what was on my ticket "club" with what was actually the exact "club" I had a ticket for. Escalators that skip levels (cuz can't stop on the exclusive level I guess but you can on the elevator...). Honestly I'm still confused. We asked no less than 3 people how to get where we needed to go and that was before we even got into the actual inside of the stadium. Everyone was very nice and the acoustics and special effects are a lot of fun. I will add because this was a concern for us that it's okay to walk here from within a mile or so; I can't speak to every direction but we walked from the Pearl District. Before the show it was still a bit empty across the bridge, but after the show you will be with lots of other people - and even for some time afterwards folks were still coming back into the Pearl District area, including with small children. Moda Center, Part 1 Grat*i*tude The state of being grateful: thankfulness Well if that is what gratitude means, then THANKFULNESS is surely required. I mean, how could that not be your immediate and uncontrollable reaction after being the guest of @corradiniphoto for a Portland Trail Blazers game when you've been treated to seats on the floor? Where does one even begin to express such gratitude? I suppose you could begin by describing the exhilaration of passing through the very same tunnel that the players did just seconds after they strode onto the court pregame. I think I could have floated home after just that singular moment! But wait, there's more...after that an actual NBA game broke out with portions of our "team" front and center there to witness the entire ballet. Yes, you heard me correctly. The fast-twitch muscle fiber symphony of movement of the players seemed to equal so much of the grace and discipline found on an entirely different "stage." And amidst so many other distinctions, while I may not be considered "short" at 5'10", I definitely felt "height challenged" as I compared my stature to the behemoths roaming the floor during this contest. The constant sneaker squeaks (created by great footwork), the private player conversations with the refs (), the overall physicality of the game (), and our visit with Bigfoot () the mascot made being so close to the action super exciting! To make this experience even better, @dbrow7 hooked us up with some serious kicks (Air Jordan 7 Cardinal) that were the perfect compliment, especially for an event so near Nike Headquarters. After paying over $1000 for blazer tickets I had an awful experience do to abysmal service at the Moda center. I bought club level seating and the food options are absolutely horrible when they used to be very good. At the conclusion of the game we were waiting inside for our uber. It was only 10 minutes after the game and we were told we had to exit into the 38 degree rain. We waited for another 15 minutes getting soaked in the cold while many other patrons were clearly allowed to stay inside. Disgusting customer service and the last game I will ever attend. Pathetic. read more
