I ordered a few shawarma plates, an Aladdin combo, and hummus, falafel, and babaganoush appetizers. Everything was delicious, but some items were a bit surprising. The hummus is was a bit on the loose side, and we actually thought it was tahini from the look, aroma, and flavor. My guess is the batch was made with a bit more tahini than normal. Still good, but surprising. The Aladdin's Combo didn't look as pictured on the website, where it looks like a very sizable portion of meat, with chicken in a reddish marinade. Though the chicken looked similar to shawarma, it was clearly different in flavor, and both it and the koobideh were delicious. I ordered extra meat and had expected it to be outrageously large based on the menu photo of the standard order, but what came was more similar to the photo itself. It was still plenty to share, but I paid additional and didn't seem like I got that much more. The regular portions here are large, like easily feed two people sized. We ordered one plate per person, but in reality could've split them all. Again, I love this spot and chalk this up to learning. I think some folks could get frustrated with this experience, and I def did to an extent, but I enjoy this too much to gripe.

I attended an amazing private event at Dorinda's Chocolates HQ…read more (This location is available only by appointment.) What a perfect team-building, special event location! Dustin and Amber were wonderful! We learned so much about chocolate and being a chocolatier! We had tastings of the actual chocolate used in their delicious truffles, arranged by percentage of chocolate. We then had different truffle tastings and a couple of delicious wine pairings. To top off the experience, we got to dip our own sea salt caramels and then choose gift boxes of truffles to package and take home. Such a great experience and so much fun! I highly recommend taking this tour and celebrating it with friends or family! You truly don't appreciate and realize just how incredible their chocolates are until you learn about their process and the special ingredients they use! I love that it's a small family and employee owned business that has become so successful, yet maintained their own unique and distinctive process.
