    Plenty of icecream
    Amy R.

What interesting fun ice cream we had coffee crunch and Samoa both are nice sweet treats in this local shop that shares space with a chocolate shop. Research says they are a mother son duo. We love supporting local businesses and this one is so creative and a tasty twist on icecream without the scoop! Oat milk option if you like. They have great options and create your owns, next time I'm trying an ice-cream sandwich. Great location with the river front right next to the store

Really cool little spot off the Truckee river beaten path. There were only a couple people so have a little patience due to how the rolled ice cream takes place (See video). Server was very kind and professional. The miso ice cream was i teresting to say the least. I will stick to the regular menu items if I ever return.

Came here for Reno Food Week. The service was friendly and energized. Small spot. Outside seating is nice and good weather days. On the expensive side for what you get. I did not like the Miso Caramel Black Sesame ice cream for the food week. The flavor wasn't great for me. The caramel was the best part.

After a lovely sunny coffee date at Hub, a sweet treat was definitely the way to go, and Rolled Mountain Creamery had everything delicious! They have a large menu of premade flavor combos that are sweet and chocolately or fruity or you can build your own. I got a coffee flavored combo with espresso ganache and toffee bits and my boyfriend got a maraschino cherry flavor combo with chocolate sauce and mini choco chips! Both were so creamy delicious and flavorful. The most exciting thing to me is you can choose for your ice cream to be made with dairy milk or oat milk, lactose intolerant people rejoice!!

This employee is terrible and very awful customer service.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! we waited for 20 minutes just for this employee Emmy to let her friends whole family cut the line. very rude and terrible customer service. Just go somewhere else don't waste your time.

Good quality ice cream. I always order the Peaches N Cream. It's a must-buy with a light taste, fruity and creamy flavor, and airy texture. It's not too heavy on the sugar. They make their ice cream pretty quickly, and watching them roll the ice cream is always a spectacle. Also, they honor student discounts, which is always a plus!

Signature Cherry and Build Your Own

Rolled Mountain Creamery is a fun place to go to try out a different form of ice cream by selecting one of their signature options or a build your own. We stopped in for some ice cream and I had the signature cherry and my husband build his own with chocolate, oreos, and sour gummy worms. Both of our ice creams were really good! The shop is small with no seating inside but there is plenty of seating outside or it's a great location to grab ice cream and walk along the river either to downtown or Idlewild Park. Overall, I would say the prices are pretty high considering the quality and quantity of the ice cream but it is cool to see them make the ice cream and to roll it up. The staff was friendly as well and assisted with any questions we had!

Cute location in a nice neighborhood right by the river. The service was really friendly and kind. Ice Cream was a tad on the sweeter side, but what do you expect from Ice Cream. Would recommend :) They share their store with a chocolate shop as well if you are in the mood for Truffles.

Fun ice cream place in Reno close to the river. We got there around three on a Saturday and had a wait, we soon discovered it's because the ice cream is so labor-intensive. Every one is made to order, starting with either a cream or oat milk base. Lots of recommendations to choose from or you can make your own. It was fun to watch them make it I had the cappuccino and my husband the Kooky dough. It was fun and the ice cream tasted good but at 9 bucks each I wouldn't make it a habit. A fun experience and it was nice to enjoy it outside.

I came here twice. I the first time I felt the customer service was not quite welcoming, however, the ice cream was delicious. I brought my big family here yesterday and we had a great experience. I've never experiencing ice cream quite like this. They make it fresh right in front of you in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood. Truly a wonderful experience.

2nd time visiting and it didn't disappoint. Staff is friendly. Got lucky walked in yesterday and got to order right away. Lots of selections on menu or you can make your own. First time had the Signature Cherry but this time tried the Somoa. Both were great but I think I'll stick to the Signature Cherry. They make your ice cream right in front of you. They have seating right outside the entrance and perfect location to walk across to the Truckee river. Go check it out--- definitely worth it!

Dorinda's sea salt caramels and caramel popcorn with a chocolate drizzle.

It's been years since I have been in here with my kiddos. We came in for a sweet treat this past weekend. Cold treats are the only thing that sound good these days. On this trip we ordered a peanut butter bomb, cookies n cream with gummy worms and a yam bam for myself. My toddler loved the show of watching the rolled ice cream be made. I did pick up a few other treats from Dorindas because why not?! Sea salt caramels and caramel popcorn were perfect for a movie night in. The young gentleman working got us through their line fairly quickly. We'll be back sooner than waiting another six years to come in. My little guy is already looking forward to our next visit.

Really cute ice cream shop. My kids have been watching rolled ice cream on YouTube and have been dying to go to one. It is connected to Dorinda's chocolate shop with is cute. The staff were 3 young men who were nice and welcoming. Excited to see us which was nice. We ordered 3 ice creams, peaches n cream, cherry and coffee. All were really good and reasonably priced ( about 8.50 each). It's not as creamy as cold stone or other ice cream places but still good. There's no inside seating which is a bummer because it was raining outside and the outdoor seating was all wet but overall good experience.

The amount of time it takes to get your order submitted is ridiculous. At least, seven customers, left rather than waiting in line.

We did the Jasmine Glow tea and the Strawberry Chocolate Pu'erh. The teas were amazingly delicious! They were so good that we bought some to bring home. We sat down and ordered the tea we liked. We each got to choose our own tea and was told we could try as many as we want. I liked the pacing; I was able to have a long conversation with my friend without feeling rushed and no interruptions. Everything that came out was delicious. The scone was a little too flaky, in my opinion, but was still very tasty. It didn't look like a lot of food, but we were both very satisfied. I am definitely going to bring my Mom back for this. Also, the mini cakes here (not included in high tea) are absolutely gorgeous. They are not too sweet, and remind me of what I used to get at cafes in Japan. My favorite that I've tried so far is the blueberry cake. I love them all though. Can't wait to try more!

I hadn't yet had a chance to try their chocolate, and this was an amazing opportunity to not only try a wide variety (mint meltaway, peanut butter cup, espresso bean, chocolate pretzel), but to also make some by hand! Visitors were allowed back into the kitchen, where we washed hands and donned gloves, and were then given a tutorial in how to dip and decorate dark chocolate salted caramels. Mine were not too bad (I'll keep my day job), but they absolutely tasted delicious. All of the chocolates had a very fresh and distinctly non-mass-produced taste. Dorinda's clearly offers high-quality candies, while also coming up with some amazing flavors like the rice crispies and the strawberry balsamic. (I got to taste the actual olive oil used for this, and I will have to pick some up next time I'm in Truckee). The biggest surprise was their cherry cordial. Cherries are my top 2 favorite chocolates, and these are absolutely the best I've had (better than See's, Godiva, etc.). Perfect blend of dark chocolate, tart maraschino cherry, liquid center, and the bit of fondant icing...and noticeably freshly made. Thank you Dorinda's for the opportunity to discover your chocolates and to get a glimpse into the magic behind these delicious candies. TIP: You can also pre-order and pick up your Frost Giant Creamery (small batch, locally sourced, made from scratch) ice cream here. I kept hearing everyone say, "Wow, that's good!" after tasting their Nevada Gold sample.

When we arrived, every table was full, so we grabbed seats at the bar. It turned out to be a great spot to watch the bartenders create beautiful drinks, including some of their signature cocktails served in a glass purse for parties of two or more. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with groups celebrating birthdays and other special occasions. After looking over the menu, we decided on the lox crostini bites and the bruschetta. We each ordered a glass of sparkling wine. I added a chocolate rim to mine, which was fun to look at, although it didn't add much flavor. While we waited for our food, we enjoyed watching the flowing chocolate waterfall. Considering how busy the bar was, our food arrived quickly. The crostini were crisp, and both appetizers were fresh and flavorful. The only drawback was the volume of the DJ, but we knew what to expect as soon as we walked through the door. This is definitely a fun place for parties and groups looking for a lively night out. One last observation: I probably wouldn't choose this spot for a group of men. The décor and overall vibe are very much geared toward women, but the name says it all.
