I visited Crumbl Cookies for the first time and was surprised by the ordering process. Instead of interacting with a person, all orders and payments are done through a kiosk. I guess I'm more of a traditionalist as I found it extremely impersonal. After you place your order, you hang out and stand in the little lobby. There are no chairs to sit it. This continues the unwelcoming feel. The only time you actually talk to someone is when your order is finished and they show you your boxed cookies. I guess I like a more "old fashioned" bakery experience. The cookies are also quite pricey--12 large cookies cost $50. While they were good, some were overly sweet. While I'm sure the business model works for the store in that it saves them for having 1 additional employee that works as a cashier, I'm just not sure that the impersonal business model works for me. read more

The girl working was rude and a liar. I ordered cookies, all the available Minecraft ones and a couple others. The person in front of me had the same amount of cookies and had the same 2 non Minecraft ones and got a Minecraft spoon. She didn't give me one. When I asked her about it she lied and claimed they got 5 Minecraft cookies when I clearly saw they did not and watched her load the box.She was rud amd looked judgingly at me the moment she saw me. Certain things at Crumbl definitely meet that criteria. I stopped by here to get my kids a large treat for getting flu and covid shots. Yes it was pricey. They got the half cookie and brownie (I'm never impressed with their brownie - I don't waste my time with that). I want the unique things. So I selected a warm raspberry compote on a soft warmed shortbread or sugar cookie. It was phenomenal. It had a butter icing dollop that really sealed the deal for me. I was stumped as to what to pick for the final item for our pack. I ended up taking a big risk and got the biscoff pie. I mean it's a mini pie. Vs cookie. Who could resist that? I dont have much experience with Biscoff besides hard cookies on the flight to Europe. Eh. But they took the taste and made it into a custard type filling with a cream icing. The wet custard with the bite of the dryer biscoff cookie crust was ----- nothing short of incredible. My son had some (who is super picky) and declared it the best dessert he has ever had. The cookies are tasty! Howeverrr I sent my oldest in with cash and her little sister, anddd boy did we have to wait a while. It was a busy time so I totally get they had a lot of orders to prepare, however what I didn't like was that they were never greeted upon walking in. They stood at the counter for almost 15 minutes before they were even spoken to or anyone walked up to the register to take their order since they came in with cash. Idk if it's normal for every single persons order from the kiosk to be prepared first, but I thought that was also odd just because they came in with cash they were addressed very last. This is not the first time this has happened either. I've gone in as well before and waited at the register for a good amount of time before anyone said anything to me either. The girl at the counter was super friendly and was happy to show me this weeks flavors, since they rotate flavors each week. They all looked amazing, but I decided to go with a good ol' Chocolate Chip Cookie, after learning it is an Award-Winning recipe. I loved getting my cookie in a pink box. It was thicker than your average cookie and it was still warm when served. I can tell you, that first bite was pure heaven. The yellow cake with chocolate icing was so good....Ive had three in the last 2 days. The service is pretty quick and friendly. The front area could use a little bit of extra love (wipe down counters) and since self serv kiosks handle the orders, the staff has a tendency to get consumed by their kitchen tasks leaving guests feeling a bit ignored. This time I went into the store to order. I would have rather kept it a mystery and done an online order and delivery from home again. I had never been in a Crumbl store before and it was sort of off-putting, I didn't know how it worked. The best way to order is from the app on your phone from the parking lot and go get the cookies on the pick up counter. The cashier wasn't the friendliest and made me feel weird for ordering from her and not knowing the names of the cookies or how many I wanted.
