But they charged me a lot of money! This place is not trustworthy and if you have a high-end car, they will charge you based on that high-end car and not fix the problem. I am not sure what the problem is with these people (maybe they don't like certain people) but something is suspicious about them. I contend that they didn't switch out the parts and just charged me for that issue because you will have the same problem. You can take your chances with them but I would look into another place to avoid the risk. I am not sitting here and the problem has gotten worse. Although I called to complain yet again, they were comfortable with me just contacting the authorities to try to resolve the issue. Make up your mind about using them, but in my opinion, I wouldn't. "They won" in my case, but caveat emptor (Let the buyer beware). Your money is hard-earned so go to someone you trust. Or, just take your chances!

Btw, don't let the appearance of the business or the neighbourhood discourage you. I consider it a positive thing when I'm not being overcharged just to pay for a shiny new facility. The people were friendly and professional, and the shop area was clean and efficient. I'll definitely return when my next repair is needed.

I was in and out in under 45 minutes--my 10 am appointment was honored, and the service was quick! The waiting area was surprisingly nice for an auto shop, with comfortable seating and a TV. The facility and restrooms were also very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out simple. I especially appreciate that they were honest and didn't try to upsell me on any extra repairs. Regarding the cost, I was charged $25.00 flat rate, which was slightly more than the $19.99 quote, but I was still happy with the overall value and service. I will definitely return! I felt the guys here were straightforward and did exactly what I needed.

After I paid him upfront for the parts (didn't have an issue with that) on August 22, I was told he would have the parts by Tuesday the 9th of September (18 days after supposedly ordering them, but okay)... I texted him on Wednesday the 10th asking when I should expect him. He texted back said he had been sick and asked if Friday the 12th would work. Told him sure. Friday comes and he doesn't show. I text him back and no response. This continues through the ENTIRE following week with no response from him. He finally shows up on the 19th (nearly an entire month after we first agreed he would do the job). I paid him via CashApp for the labor and figured that was the end of the situation. When he left, I was happy, finally had some air conditioning in the truck. My happiness was short-lived, because by Monday it was back to blowing hot air (no freon). So of course, I texted him and finally Wednesday the 24th he said he would try to get to me by the weekend (26-27 September), of course that didn't happen. He texted me again on the 29th saying he would "try and make it today".... Finally on the 30th of September he made it back over to redo his work. Everything since then was fine until last Sunday, May the 17th. The AC started blowing hot air again (obviously the system has sprung another leak). I've attempted to contact him via text every day since then with absolutely no response. Oh, and for those of you wondering why I'm texting him instead of calling, he doesn't answer the phone and hasn't even bothered to set up a voicemail. If you have an AC issue, find someone else. I'm fed up with this nonsense. Thinking about small claims court, but at this point I just need some AC.

After reading many reviews I decided to visit RPM and I have no regrets. An appointment is recommended and I usually call at least 2 weeks in advance because it's a popular small business. Recently I visited for an oil change and my car was ready in 28 minutes. I could instantly tell the difference in how my vehicle was driving. I was also informed that my vehicle looked good and only concern may be rear breaks and they would look at it during the next oil change. The oil change sticker was placed on my window so I have a reminder on when to visit next. Although it's a little drive from my home, I will continue to get my car serviced here.  Friendly service, consistent and quality work at an affordable price.

Kevin shared that he was at risk of losing his job and was a lead tech, although listed as the owner. 'Management' also contacted and asked that I take the review down and offered to refund the labor. At this point (2 days later) I had already taken the vehicle to the Toyota dealer, as his 'management' advised the vehicle was complex and initially declined looking at the vehicle without another charge. Toyota Diagnosis: improper fitting and installed spark plugs. Cost: 98$ inspection- which was deducted from repair cost. Repair cost total, including one day vehicle rental, 468.79$. I reached back out to Kevin and 'Management', via text and email, three consecutive days- excluding Sunday, explaining the outcome and requesting a partial refund (spark plugs, diagnosis, and labor). I have not received a response and am now seeking civil action. Receipts attached. Again, the purpose of this review is to bring awareness.

2011 BMW 335i e93…read more Paid $1,300+ for a repair just for him to break my clip to the fuel rail, pop off the tips/tops to my brand new $1200 coil packs, left the ignition coils unplugged and said it wouldn't start. Kevin was supposed to replace my valve cover, MAF sensor, coolant hose, Fuel Sensor B, Air intake temp sensor, and Fuel regulator. This was all supposed to fix my minor misfire problem. I wasn't able to be there for the main repair bc i had work but he had called me and told me that he couldn't start the car but everything was good, and that it was bc the battery was dead/dying. Naturally i believed him bc my car had been sitting for a while, when i had went to check on the car the day after ready to jump it the car wouldn't turn over like it would before, i told him about this initially and he said that he would come back and check on his work. He never did. But upon further inspection i found several things wrong: The bottom 2 coil packs weren't in or seated properly (when taking them out the tips/tops weren't even connected) and the connector that goes to my fuel rail had been broken. These are just the things that I had noticed off rip, so only God knows how extensive the damage really is. After I noticed all of this I brought it to his attention by calling/texting him but he wouldn't respond- when usually he would answer almost right away. Today I tried contacting him again only to find out that my number had been blocked. This has ultimately been a waste of time and a huge waste of money whereas now i have to spend even more on a wiring harness or figure out how to or even IF i can solder a new connector on, buy new coil packs, etc. on top of already spending a good amount of money on a failed and botched repair. If you want my advice, the best choice is usually the hardest one.. don't look for mobile mechanics, or mechanics who don't own an actual shop or any "do-it-yourself"ers. Just take your car to an actual shop where you can get it properly and professionally looked at. You're gonna have to spend a lot of money anyways, so you might as we do it right the first time around rather than hop scotching to different mechanics and ppl. I just wish i would've known this sooner, don't be stubborn or a penny pincher, bc pennie's pinch back and when they do it's gonna hurt like ab.

Then I called him again this year. Simply put he totaled my car. I had a check engine light on the dash and could not pass emissions. After two visit jay distroyed my car to the point where it could no longer run and I am having to post it on facebook for parts. Again Jay is a nice guy but at times I think he is using youtube to fix cars. Dont make a horrible decision that could cost you thousands of dollars. Please learn from my mistake.
