I made an appointment for a Monday morning which is usually a busy day for auto shops, but they got to my car right away and quickly texted me a detailed breakdown of their findings. The repair wasn't cheap but it did come in well under the estimate. My cars' issues were accurately diagnosed and correctly fixed. I'm quite happy with my experience. Btw, don't let the appearance of the business or the neighbourhood discourage you. I consider it a positive thing when I'm not being overcharged just to pay for a shiny new facility. The people were friendly and professional, and the shop area was clean and efficient. I'll definitely return when my next repair is needed. read more

Quick & Honest Service at Brightstar Tire and Alignment I had a great experience at Brightstar Tire and Alignment today for a tire rotation. I was in and out in under 45 minutes--my 10 am appointment was honored, and the service was quick! The waiting area was surprisingly nice for an auto shop, with comfortable seating and a TV. The facility and restrooms were also very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out simple. I especially appreciate that they were honest and didn't try to upsell me on any extra repairs. Regarding the cost, I was charged $25.00 flat rate, which was slightly more than the $19.99 quote, but I was still happy with the overall value and service. I will definitely return! I felt the guys here were straightforward and did exactly what I needed. read more

I would not use this company. They quoted me $450 for a repair but said it was $550 when I picked up my car. They also charged me for work they did not do. I think they are owned by Main Stree Auto, 191 Peachtree St. Atlanta. I tried to reach them but they don't post a phone number only an email address. This place is fair, professional, and consistent. I have two vehicles serviced here regularly and my vehicles continue to run fine. It has that old school feeling of getting straight to the point and fixing things. Just be careful pulling out of the parking lot and making a left, very dangerous. These guys are fantastic. Professional, fair, Thorough. I was traveling from Dallas to NC and had a blow out on my trailer. Broke 4 studs getting the wheel off. Sam had them popped out in about 15 minutes. Ordered replacements from the O'Reily down the street and had me back on the road quickly. Cannot recommend them enough. A very nice clean kid / pet friendly waiting / lobby area. The young lady at the counter was very polite, knowledgeable and informative. Highly recommend the folks at Bright Star. read more

Can't really leave a review about their work because my original quote doubled after dropping off my truck! Paid $25 for an Uber ride home and 2hrs later got a call my rate doubled so had to catch another $25 Uber to pick it up! Found another mechanic not far from there with reasonable rates and better reviews. Do some research and save yourself time and money! read more

Jimmy Franklin, started out as an apprentice at Dodson Tire in 1972 . Soon after, he opened this shop and has grown it into the most trusted Auto Repair and Tire Shop in the area. Jimmy personally supervises operations, often taking a hands-on role for more complicated repairs. In 2008 Jimmy partnered up with Jamie Griffin, a long time employee and friend. Interior / Exterior The exterior seemed clean and I didn't venture inside. They are in that little building formerly occupied by Community of Faith Church, Not sure what's down the road that runs alongside the spot, but when I got ready to leave there were tons of cars extending back down the street. Luckily, a friendly motorist waved me in so I was able to pull out fairly quickly. Customer Service Ben was nice. Chatty and pretty aggressive sales wise. It didn't bother me at first, because I'm from the country but he is definitely very informal with his customers. I can't get mad because he definitely told me about some discounts I wouldn't known about otherwise - but I'm warning you to be prepared for him to REALLY try to get you to buy some windshield wipers. I explained to him, when I called yesterday, that I was on a budget because I inherited some vehicles that could not yet be sold due to probate and I was dealing with having to pay insurance and keep them tagged and titled. Their regular non-discounted price at this location is currently $20. Ben said the other locations, like Atlanta Rd are $25. I also like the fact that there is no surcharge if you're using plastic to pay. But what I didn't love is that I told him 4 separate times that I wasn't interested in purchasing wipers because I don't even drive this car. Then when I looked the blades up on Amazon, Dekra's RainEx blade price was $11 higher ($22 total). He would not let up. He kept on about how quick it would be, how he hated to see a $100K vehicle with crappy blades and how it really pissed him off. When I told him that I didn't think blades were even visible, he said he always notices blades. When that didn't work - he beat me over the head with the fact that he'd given me a discount on the emissions test AND he was willing to nearly match the Amazon price on the blades. Honestly, I felt guilt-tripped and I was ready to get the heck out of there because I had two more vehicles to get done, so I just said ok. Keep in mind, once I got all 4 vehicles tested, I had to spend over $1800 at the tag office because one of these cars is apparently NOT depreciating like normal. Laughing / crying emoji. I respect the hustle and I'm sure Ben is a nice guy, but I definitely felt the sales thing was way to aggressive. For that reason alone, I wound up taking the other two cars elsewhere. See other reviews. Price Value I already mentioned the $20 regular price but it might change to $25 in the future according to Ben (to match the other Dekra centers). Deliberately not mentioning my discounted price, but be sure to ask whether they have any military or first responder discounts. Personally, I feel like they will keep the $20 price because Austell Emissions (4612 -3 Austell Rd), located right next door on the other side of the tag office charges $18 for cash / $18.72 for card and Lincoln Emissions (4968 Austell Rd) charges $18 as well. Fuerza Latina Insurance (4788 Austell Rd) also charges $18. Overall Overall, I would go back - but only when I know Kimberlee or another associate is gonna be there. Ben is too hard to refuse / say no to. Lol.

This place is awesome! My tire was very low on air and literally only had $7.00. I yelped used tire shop and this address was the closest. The service was suburb and the beautiful cashier lady called me up and explained what was wrong with the tire. But the good news is they plugged my tire after pulling a nail out of it with NO CHARGE! I was literally in tears and very grateful! FYI, I patronized this company in the past and the service was also great! I truly recommend Bright Star Tire and alignment.
