Starline started remodeling project in February. To be fair there were supply problems for supplies due to Covid. BUT... upon our return in May, this project was a disaster. Our house was a filthy mess from lack of partioning off kitchen area, which was a very easy process. Dry wall dust covered every inch of our house. Upon what was considered by the contractor as completion, we were told that someone from this company would be contacting us regarding issues and additional charges. In November, 6 months later we received final billing for this project. In the meantime, no one from Starline followed up with our issues. As of November 2021, made contact with management about final billing and issues. Talked to Project Manager who stated he would look into our issues. So far, two weeks and three unanswered phone calls with no return calls, we still have no resolutions.

I found a countertop and asked questions about veining because the countertops that I picked out had veins. First off the guy came to measure the countertops and they were cut two short and they gave us a hard time about that and then to tell me that I could have my contractor fill in the holes. Second I decided to use the countertops as back splashes and again asked the question about the veins matching. They told me they would match. Not the case at all. When they came to install for a second time the veins do not match the backsplashes after I was told they would. They claimed they never said this which is not true and told me that I had buyers remorse. For a $10,000 job they are doing sloppy work and do not care about the customers. I had asked about a discount because now I have to live with ugly countertops that do not match and will only receive a 5% discount which is nothing. The owner does not care about his customers and only cares about his money. Buyers beware of this place. Also when you walk into the shop the staff look miserable as they never have smiles on their faces, it's like they can't be bothered to get up to help you. Buyers beware of this place.

Bathroom Counter and Sink:…read more Office Staff: 5 star The office staff is very nice and easy to work with. There was confusion on the remint we chose a few days prior to install when they found scratches, but no big deal, stone is natural and it is a remint. All worked out on the stone and the staff was great. We could tell, they really wanted to make it work out. Quality: 4 star Overall the counter and sink look great! The back splash has some unpolished areas that you can see on the edge that is against the wall. Maybe this is normal, but we have not seen this on other back splashes. Install: 0 star Well, they really made a mess on the floors, sticky everywhere they walked. We are still cleaning this after several washing the floors. The problem is the sealer they put on after the counter was installed, it got on their boots and then everywhere they walked. Entryway, stairs, upstairs hall, bathroom they put the counter in and the main floor to the bathroom they used. Owner: Questionable We had a long discussion when he came to measure the bathroom about our kitchen counter. He had some very questionable recommendation's on electrical in violation of the law. Don't put the outlets in the counter surface, put them on the cabinet edge, you are not having it inspected and it was legal when the house was built, so who will know. On the area without support that the owner pointed out, an interior decorator (relative) sent us some photos of how to make the design work easily and be updated to what new homes have and meet the current electrical code. Note: I apologized for the truck having a hard time getting down the driveway, there was snow packed due to the extreme cold even with the snow plow person doing his best. So I put out 50 lbs. of Ice melt and 50 lbs. of sand and they drove out easily.

My experience with Sedona Stone has been extremely disappointing. They installed my kitchen…read morecountertops in June 2025, and almost immediately I noticed major issues. The counters were uneven and the seams between the slabs were very visible and poorly finished. While I understood there would be seams, they should not be this noticeable or look this unprofessional. After contacting Sedona Stone, they sent technicians out to fix the unevenness and redo the seams. Unfortunately, the work was still not corrected. They later sent a third-party specialist from Griffith Marble Restoration (GMR), who corrected some of the unevenness by sanding the edges of the seam. However, he clearly stated that he could not properly fix the seams themselves and that they should be redone by Sedona Stone. He also told me he would recommend this directly to them. Since that visit, I have called Sedona Stone several times for updates. Each time I was told someone would call me back, but no one ever did. I eventually sent an email only to be told they believe the issue has already been addressed. Unfortunately, the seams are still very noticeable and the installation does not meet the quality that was promised. One seam behind the sink is barely visible, which proves it can be done correctly. However, the seams in the more visible areas of the kitchen stand out immediately. I spent a significant amount of money on these countertops and expected professional workmanship and a company that stands behind their product. Instead, I am left with a poor installation and no resolution. Very frustrating experience. At the end of the day, I invested a substantial amount of money in these countertops expecting quality workmanship and a company that would stand behind their installation. Instead, I am left with countertops that were installed unevenly, seams that are highly visible, and a company that no longer seems interested in resolving the problem. For anyone considering working with Sedona Stone, I would strongly encourage asking detailed questions about their installation process, their seam finishing standards, and how they handle customer concerns if something goes wrong. Based on my experience, those are very important considerations. I simply wanted the countertops I paid for to be installed correctly and finished to a professional standard. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience, and I am now left with a product that does not reflect the quality I was promised. Given the amount of money spent and the lack of a satisfactory resolution, this situation has been extremely disappointing. Home improvement projects are supposed to improve your home, not leave you regretting the decision and dealing with months of unresolved issues. UPDATE: to respond to Sedona's comment on my review (there is no option to do so): I would like to clarify that my concern has never been about simply having seams. I understood and accepted that seams can be necessary with natural stone depending on the layout and slab size. My concern is with the quality and appearance of the seams that were installed. According to the standards of the Natural Sone Institute, seams should be structurally sound and color-matched so they blend as seamlessly as possible with the surrounding stone. In my case, the seams are highly visible and do not blend with the material. This is especially noticeable when compared to the seam behind the sink, which was finished much better and is barely noticeable. This shows that a properly finished seam is achievable. Additionally, during the visit from Griffith Marble Restoration, the technician sanded the edges to correct the uneven height left by the installation. However, that process also resulted in some of the seam filler coming out, which has made the seams even more noticeable. I have provided photos clearly showing the condition of these seams. This situation is not about disliking seams in general; it is about the visible quality of the seam work that was performed. Given the amount of money invested in these countertops, I expected workmanship that meets professional standards and a finished product that reflects the quality that was promised. I remain hopeful that Sedona Stone will reconsider and work toward a fair resolution, whether that is properly correcting the seams so they meet industry standards or offering an appropriate refund for the unsatisfactory installation.
