I went in to get my boots stretched. I left them there for a week and when I went to call to see if they were done the man hung up on me as I was speaking so I drove straight up there and with a smile on his face he handed me my boots. When I get home I realized he hadn't touched them they hadn't been stretched at all. It should have raised the red flag when he never asked me where I needed the boots stretched. He did say that I could come back and get them restretched I guess for the first time if they didn't fit and of course they didn't but after taking my money and not doing anything I'm not going to trust the guy with my socks much less my expensive boots. This was my 2nd repair here. The first shoe repair went fine. This time I brought in my Chanel clogs because the rubber type bottom sole started to become loose. I paid $30.00 & picked them up about a week later. There was glue all over one side of the shoe. He also had a spot of glue on the suede part of the shoe. Anyway, this is a classic shoe repair shop to include all the vintage-looking machines being handled by an experienced-looking cobbler who has seen the movie The Cobbler starring Adam Sandler. He was a nice guy who seemed pretty busy. So busy in fact that he could not do a same-day or 1-day shine job. I paid the man ~$12 to shine my military boots, which is a little on the expensive side but he did a great job and would recommend this joint if you don't want to drive any further. I dropped off a loafer that needed rethreading. The shoe and threading were a soft pink. My shoe was rethreaded with a dirty white string, looped way too many times. It looks horrible. I will never use this business again. I was told pink threading isn't sold. Well I know that isn't true because pink threading was already in the shoe. I went to amazon and found a threading that is the same color and thickness. I will repair my shoe, myself. I rarely need to use a shoe repair shop, but when the only thing wrong with a good pair of well broken in heels is the toe is a bit beat up and the taps are worn down it's cheaper to fix than replace. Franzone's made my 2 pairs of shoes look band new for $34. To replace these two pairs of shoes would have cost more than 4x that price! I brought my old deck shoes there, I wear medical inserts and they redid the soles and heels wonderful job, they fit and feel great with my new inserts. They are expensive, but the old saying is you get what you pay for. They charged me $59.00 and a new pair is 70.00. But they don't feel as good as the ones they repaired. read more

I recently took my work shoes here that I needed done quickly due to a relocation with short notice. The man and woman working when I dropped them off were extremely helpful. They rushed the order for me with no extra charge, and even stayed after hours for me to pick them up. On top of that my shoes were pristine and the quality of work was exceptional. The guy making the boot has little to no bedside manner. I think he might even be on the spectrum, which is fine? Just dint deal with customers. I brought in a pair of boots and asked for a vibrant sole. I didn't know they had options on soles and I wasn't told - there was a sign but, that doesn't mean choose the freedom sole he wants. Those boots are fine, I ended up liking the way they looked after my jaw dropping when I went to pick them up. I just went in again and had another pair of bits I wanted the same thing done but this time I can prepared to order the right sole. The boots are for a memorial of my husbands that was within a week. All good on the timeline but unfortunately I am struggling with finances since the death of my husband and could only work within my budget and would have to pay for them when I picked them up. NO DEAL. NO EMPATHY, NO COMPASSION. Just a straight no and goodbye. Plus this on top of his rude shitty behavior. He is an old gay man and obviously embittered about his meaningless life. I tried them out on a pair of dress shoes, and I was really happy with their service. Instead of buying brand new shoes, I had them resole & buff my shoes back to an almost new state.
