We picked out cabinets, flooring, sink, faucet, handles and pulls and she designed the kitchen. She came out to the house and did measurements and drew up the suggested design of my kitchen. The nightmare started when the orders started coming in. First, the orders were delayed for months and then when it did show up, I received wrong product and the sink, faucet handles and pulls, as well as the grout were not ordered. I then was told by Joanne to go onto Amazon, and order all the products that did not show up or use build.com. I did that,but,the prices for everything were more than what I originally had paid to Henry kitchen and bath. When the countertop was delivered, it was not the right size around the sink, and my stove did not slide in to where it should have been due to improper measuring given to the countertop people from HKB. The countertop people did come out and remove the large piece from behind the stove but now I have an open area behind the stove with nothing, just open space. So, I contacted Joanne twice now to get in touch with the countertop people, but there has been no result from that. There have been other issues regarding the design and cabinets and doors hitting one another but there's too much to go into it here. Due to the lack of customer service and unwillingness from Henry kitchen and bath to take care of their mistakes, I would never recommend using them.

They took a lunch break and left each day by 3pm! One day, I saw that they were using my extension cord that they'd taken from my garage without asking! Umm bring your own equipment please or at least ask to borrow. Only one of them could speak broken English. They were scared of my dog so I HAD to be home while they were working. It was ridiculous. Their drywall skills were pathetic and tape and muddying looked like my preschool kids did it. When I would show Rick their shoddy work he would had them correct it but it was over and over and over. Their paint work was poor. Parts of the floor tile had to be removed and replaced. We found The ductwork was left unhooked up and ceiling tiles right over unfinished ductwork. I would not recommend and I will never use again. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY as they hire non English speaking men who do do not know how to do interior construction work. Egress window leaked too

It is now the BEST space in the house. We will be calling on Rick again for our next renovation. We had a one-year-old at the time of renovation and it was in the middle of the Covid 19 Pandemic. Rick and his team were incredible with checking on us and letting us know in advance how our day might be disrupted by the work. They were considerate of sound levels when he was napping and so courteous of our home life, which we were still adjusting to ourselves. This showed us a lot about the character of Premier 1 Properties. They care about the quality of their work, but they also care about their customers and their experiences during renovations.

Over the years we have transitioned from what was built - beige walls and beige carpeting - to painted walls and hardwood floors... everywhere but in our master closet. My wonderful wife wanted to finally take care of our closet, by painting the walls and adding wood floors and a closet system. When we started improving the house several years ago, my wife discovered Tigerwood, a beautiful wood that has deep colors and dark stripes similar to a tiger's, but in more of a deep cherry-like color (not orange). We have Tigerwood in our dining room and all of the bedrooms, and now, thanks to Boardwalk flooring, also in our master bedroom closet. Everyone has been helpful each time we improved a room or rooms in the house. We picked up the wood 7 days early, so we could let the wood adjust to the humidity of our home before the installation.

As noted in my original review, the work was done well, and I am now satisfied with both the repairs and the resolution. ******** I wish this were a more positive review, but I would not recommend Kirkwood Fence. Our salesperson estimated that our fence repair would take 4-8 hours. He explained that the company subcontracts repair work and books labor in half-day or full-day blocks, at $750 or $1,500 respectively. Based on his estimate of the scope of work, I agreed to a full day of labor. The written estimate sent later that day initially overstated the cost by about $600, which was later corrected and approved. On the day of the repair, the crew arrived on time but had been given incomplete information and brought only half of the required materials. They were able to return to the shop, pick up the remaining parts, and complete the repair by lunchtime. Once work began, the repair itself took just over two hours. Despite this, I was charged for a full day of labor. I tried to discuss my concern with the owner, but was referred back to the salesperson, who indicated that no adjustment was possible. The repair work itself was well done and the installation team was great, but my experience with the company left me feeling I'd been suckered.

So I will never use Kirkwood Fence AGAIN from what the installers tell me there's no communication between the installers and who ever runs the jobs, the second installers were back at the shop more than they were at my house cause they brought one in ground post and not a plated post then they drove back picked up 1 post when they got back to my house the company called them and they had to drive back to the shop to pick up the second post thats terrible i feel bad for the installers, I think conner needs to communicate more with the customers and they should of gave me some sort of discount for all the BS they put me though.

Rob came out again and the two of them came up with a plan. Once Rob left, Brian was on it! He was not only incredibly nice, he was professional, efficient, and fast. He cared so much about making sure the job was not only done right, but was done in a way that would make me happy. In this day and age, good help is hard to find and keep, but it looks like they have found a way to do it. My husband and I love our new floor and we would recommend All Surface and Flooring to any looking for a quality job.
