A subcontractor came out a month later, March 25, 2025 and measured. I've called Stone Trends and the subcontractor who keeps saying "I promise I'm going to get to you" I think two months later he could have squeezed me in for a small job that happened 3 months ago. Stone Trends needs to keep their word to me, its too late to keep patient.

Once the floor was ready to go in, Rob the flooring manager came out to go over how things would work and to make sure that the product got delivered. On the day of installation I met Brian, who was the installer. After removing the carpet Brian realized that there were some issues with the wood floor underneath. Rob came out again and the two of them came up with a plan. Once Rob left, Brian was on it! He was not only incredibly nice, he was professional, efficient, and fast. He cared so much about making sure the job was not only done right, but was done in a way that would make me happy. In this day and age, good help is hard to find and keep, but it looks like they have found a way to do it. Designing exactly what we wanted was so easy to do working with Scott Scarfino, the owner's son. Scott came to our house himself to take measurements before he ordered anything, he came by several times during the renovation process to help out and check on the progress. Jerry, the contractor that did all the work was at our house every day until the job was completed. After it was completed, he had my husband and I look over everything to make sure we were satisfied with everything before he left. The following day, Scott came by to look at everything and wanted to make sure we were happy with everything. There were no hidden costs, the renovation cost exactly what they quoted us. Buyer beware. Alex was great to work with, and the carpet itself looks good. However, after…read moreinstallation we discovered chipped tile in areas adjacent to the work. When I reported the issue, I was told the chips had always been there and had simply been covered by the previous carpet. That explanation didn't make sense to me, particularly because there was glue residue present in areas where the tile was supposedly already chipped. While the owner made an offer to replace one tile, I was left feeling that the burden was placed on me to prove the damage occurred during installation. Whether you agree with their explanation or not, I would recommend thoroughly documenting and photographing any adjacent flooring before work begins. What started out as a good experience left me feeling somewhat sad and disappointed as if we, as the customer, did something wrong. Bummer.
