I've weeded my yard a few times before one of their visits and left the weeds in my driveway, too lazy to grab the compost cart - every time they've just cleaned up after me without asking or additional charge. Feels silly but just a small detail of good customer service! Have hired Fresh Roots for a few additional projects without issues. Great experience.

Their quote was fair and competitive -- ultimately I decided to move forward with someone who came directly recommended by a friend, but Van's pricing was absolutely in line with the market and within about $100 of my lowest quote out of five different providers I interviewed. The scope included a full spring cleanup of a heavily overgrown yard, including mowing, pruning, weeding, pressure washing, bark installation, and repairing a distressed gravel pathway. Their pricing was very much on par with the other companies I met - for that large service, as well as ongoing bi-weekly yard care. They were on time, responsive via text when confirming the verbal quote and providing additional pricing details, and overall very kind, transparent, and fair throughout the process. Even though I went a different direction for this particular project, I would absolutely feel comfortable recommending them in the future. The experience was easy, professional, and very competitively priced.

Requested weeding, mulching, and trimming of shrubs, got invoiced for mulching and trimming, so that is what they did, so that's my fault that they didn't weed. Quality of work is subpar. Low attention to detail. Not great listeners even when talking prior to work being done m like when I asked them to not trim a specific section, but add mulch still. Uneven trimming of shrubs, mulch on shrubs and not under the actual shrubs. They were responsive, but that's the only thing good about them. Just wait for Olivia to respond to this with specific things like "look at your compost bin and cameras, we clean", despite there being noticeable trimmings leftover. PS. 'The Pink Guys LLC' is not a registered business in Washington state. Edit: as you can see the response from the owner. The guy didn't bring enough mulch so he spreads it thinly and then lies about what i said. Said cutting the neighbors shrub was a curtesy when I asked for it before invoice was created, but since they chose not to put it in the invoice, it's not their problem. I met with him once, then before I left to soccer practice, and asked him to trim the top cuz he didn't, despite my invoice stating he would trim. He was too lazy to bring out the ladder... I don't have your number bud.. only your wife's. Nevertheless, you definitely need someone supervising you every 10 minutes because there is a standard procedure of putting tires on a car correctly, not just hand tightening them... let my photos speak for itself... lol

I recently had Raymond and his crew come take care of my long overdue Spring yard clean up. I must say that they surpassed all my expectations. From the moment I contacted them for an estimate to the completion of the job, their professionalism and dedication were evident at every step. Raymond demonstrated an exceptional level of expertise and knowledge. They possess an in-depth understanding of various landscaping techniques and were able to provide tailored solutions to enhance the beauty and functionality of my yard. I needed a lot of weeds removed. Also to have our tree branches cut away from our house. Furthermore, we had an area where ivy overgrew and it needed fixing. They were able to help with all of that. John knew exactly what I was talking about when I wanted to reseed my lawn with "shade-friendly" seed, and made the right recommendation to *not* lay down completely new sod, but instead to rejuvenate the lawn (aerating, thatching to remove moss, roughing up soil to create a better seed-bed, adding fertilizer, adding lime to balance soil PH, reseeding, and top dressing with peat). My lawn has never looked better. John's team also did a full clean-up of my yards. Everything looks great now. Highly recommend John for your landscaping needs.
