Went in looking for a regular polish for an upcoming event. Had called before hand and they said just come on in. When we got there the lady was like yelling what you want. We told her and she still said it again, told her again and she still did not listen. Would not let us talk without talking over us. Little did they know they just lost a lot of business that day and I will never recommend to any of my clients/coworkers to go to this salon. We ended up walking out without getting anything as they all looked at each other and were so rude to us in front of all the people in the salon. This was a complete waste of money. My nails are crooked it looks like a 2 year old did them. The lady did not know what she was doing. She made me bleed. The tip that she added was halfway coming off and she continued to add powder and now my nail is in severe pain. I have never been so unhappy with my nails. I will not be going back. read more

My sweet husband had gotten me an appointment to get a pedicure on our baby moon trip and this place was recommended to him by a friend. I had the best experience at this salon. My technician was Audrey, whom didn't talk at all (which I was thankful, Bc I was ready to get some relaxation on), was excellent. I got the spa pedicure, which included the hot stones massage. It was so relaxing and Audrey took her time to make me feel pampered. The whole pedicure took about an hour, I never felt rushed. It was the best pedicure I've ever had! My friend and I had an appointment and from the time we walked in, they were extremely rude to us. They just looked up at us - without even saying hi or offering us water or anything told us to go look at the colors. We were looking at polish colors trying to decide, and four different people came up to us rushing us and making us feel horrible for not knowing which color we wanted after looking for just a minute. They would not sit us next to each other even though we had an appointment together. Then the sample that I chose was completely different than what the color actually looked like. Such an unenjoyable experience. I asked for dip and did the French tips. The white takes up 3/4 of my mail. When I asked for smaller she said it would when she filed. I asked for square-she gave me round and uneven. When I asked for more square she became visibly annoyed and started rapidly moving my hands and bending them. And no the filing did NOT fix the white. Then came the most disappointing part the pedicure that I paid for the top option. There was absolutely NO massage, no cuticle trimming, no filing, no callus, nothing. Basically they took stones and spread the lotion and that was it. Will never return. read more

Each time I have come here I've had a great experience. I have had a random person each time but his last time I had my nails done I saw Sarah. She is very nice and I think she did a great job doing gel on my nails. They offer waxing, pedi and manicures, and massages. I find that this place is slightly cheaper than others that I have been to but you cannot tell from the work, it is just as good or better than other places. I have recommended Modern Nails to several friends and they loved it. They even offer children's pedicures: they have small child-sized chairs. You do not need to call in for an appointment unless you want a specific person, they usually can get me in right away or I will only have to wait a few minutes. They have a great selection of nail colors: gel, regular, and dip polish and offer full manicure/pedicures or just a color change. This is a very clean establishment and looks very nice and bright on the inside. They accept cash, checks, and cards. read more

I loved that as soon as I walked into the nail salon they have sign that says they would like checks but will take debit cards or cash. Some places only take checks and do not tell you till you get ready to pay. The place looks really clean and cute inside. They have tv that they plays net flicks which fun to watch while you are being pampered! They also do hair waxing and eye lash extensions there. Ask for Maria she's amazing! Does a message ! I have tried several different salons over the years, but Modern Nails has always made me feel welcomed and valued which is why I keep coming back. If I don't know the precise name of the service that I want, I am not scolded or embarrassed which has happened at other places. This places rushes through your nails. I got acrylics and they came off within 5 days. It is so busy that when you're sitting down with them they don't take time to make sure your nails are perfect, they just do an okay job and go on with their business. I would rather wait a long time and have good nails than wait for 5 minutes for a crappy nail job. I went to them twice to see if the acrylics were actually bad. BOTH SETS CAME OF WITHIN 5 DAYS. never again. plus there's an up charge for shaping the nail??? waste of money. read more

Came to get my nails done with a friend and after being told they could take us made us 15 minutes before my friend and I decided we didn't want to wait and would go somewhere else. We both got up to leave when they immediately said they would take us but had to help my friend first. I waited some more and when the lady finally helped me she was rude, unfriendly, and I felt rushed. She told me my nails were short several times after I told her I liked them that way and I felt judged and as if my nail preference inconvieneved her. She never put oil on my cuticles and did not clean the skin around my nails as well as leaving paint on my skin.
