Suggestion, if you run out of salsa, tell people when they order the chips and salsa as the side so they can change it to the rice. Nobody would order just tortilla chips with no salsa as their side. Otherwise the tacos weren't bad and I liked how many toppings they offer. Made it to the truck fairly early on and they had run out of salsa (which seems ridiculous for a taco truck) fish and agua frescas and at least one flavor of the tortillas, which they also failed to mention when I placed my order. We had Modern Tortilla cater our daughter's backyard wedding reception. They were a hit and received rave reviews from all the guests. Having them cater was the best decision we made. We chose the 2 taco plate combo where guests could chose from steak, chicken, or veggie tacos. But that's not all - the sides were plentiful and amazing - rice, beans, green salsa, red salsa, corn, sour cream, cilantro, avocado salsa, cheese, hot sauces, and onions. We threw a graduation party with about 60 people and everyone loved the food! I mean people were going back for seconds and thirds. Modern Tortilla provided appetizers and dinner for our rehearsal dinner for about 50 people. They elote and guacamole was fresh, warm and outstanding. The menu was diverse and inclusive to everyone (heard the veggie tacos were great) and very clean coming individually served. The two staff that cooked and served were friendly, helpful and amazing. We had the Mac n Cheese truck from Modern Tortilla at our graduation party and it was a HIT! Everyone loved it! Large portions, great selection of toppings for the mac and cheese and large pieces of chicken to top it off. We had requested gluten free pasta for a few of our guests which were ecstatic at that option. I was not able to attend but I am the one who set up the food truck for our company event. I was told that those without eating restrictions absolutely loved it. However they ran out of Veggie Taco's and we have a lot of vegitarians. It is bad when the President of the company goes to get a veggie taco (he is vegitarian) can't get one. Then those who couldn't eat tortillas basically had a bowl of meat. It would have been nice to toss some lettuce in those bowls. :-) read more

We hosted an employee event with Modern Tortilla Food Truck and it was AWESOMENESS!!!! The truck team Stephanie, Jake and Kevin pumped out the tacos and took great care of our 100 employees.
