Sure enough, two years later it was time and I went in with the most confidence I'd every had in a Dr. There was a problem during the operation (nothing to do with him) and he took the time and expertise to fix it and it's been perfect. I can't say enough about his talent, friendliness, professionalism and knowledge. I can't imagine anyone would go wrong choosing Dr Low.

As well as the staff. They all mean the world to me. They saved my life (more than once) in so many ways. Not just with my health, but the emotional overcoming of what I experienced. They have ALL (from front desk to MA's, to PA's, NP's, Surgeon's, Office Manager, etc.) touched my life and my family's life. I am a 36 year old wife with four beautiful children. My two oldest (daughter & son) are old enough to remember the "me" I was before all the surgeries and hospital stays. Which I spent more time in the hospital than I did at home. The older two children can remember every moment of every scary experience. Even one's that I myself am unable to remember. But my two littles, (daughters), don't remember the days that mama was able to hold them and sing to them, and do any & EVERYTHING with them. They don't know their mom who wasn't sick. But they are all four just amazing human beings. My husband had to go from being the fun dad to being the "do it all" daddy. And he's been wonderful about it. I still need to have a few more procedures and haven't been doing well lately. And there is not another surgical office that I would trust with my life, than this office. I'm a high-risk patient, and Dr. McClary is my most trusted surgeon and human being in general for my complications. But I have had the pleasure of seeing all the physicians within this practice. And I would recommend ANY & ALL of them! My anatomy is just a bit different than others lol! And Dr. McClary has been there from the start of me becoming a higher risk patient. Appointment goes OK - DOCTOR IS GREAT. Incomplete orders to medical facility. No pain meds @ Rx - another follow-up. Another call to schedule follow-up appointment - forgot to schedule. Unsure if this is "in play" here, but more and more medical practices are nothing more than shells macerating for some conglomerate. Doctors are employees without any ownership or oversight for the staff. Staff turnover is horrific with least cost apparent. There is a valley urology multi-location practice than worse than this. But my opinion a race to the bottom.

Had more pain than expected on one side of head and neck - prescribed muscle relaxants by physician assistant - never spoke to doctor. Had critical incident a week after surgery, Dr was called by family and local hospital, no follow up from doctor except what I initiated. I am accustomed to seeing surgeon once following to view incision, swelling, etc. Office expectation is we will contact them but as a non-medical person it may be difficult to know what is concerning. She makes sure all of your questions are answered and even is the first to check on you before your surgery and give you a timeline. She did an amazing job and my scar is hardly noticeable. Having the specialty knowledge, it is clear this is what she does ever day and has mastered her skill. However, I cannot offer the full review due to her billing department. Prior to surgery I faced my first issue. They called to take my deductible payment. I had to call my bank 3 times because it kept declining because they are using Square and my bank thought it was a fraudulent transaction. I thought this was all settled until I received my bill from the hospital - and the deductible was also applied. The billing department billed my insurance incorrectly and thus the hospital was able to file first. It is almost six months now and I have still not received a refund for the overpayment. I have called about once a month. I was advised they didn't have everything back from my insurance. I can see it on my end and have sent in the paperwork needed. Yet I have not received any responses nor my refund. It is very unfortunate because I would like to recommend Dr Vazquez if anyone I come across every needs Thyroid surgery. Unfortunately, the fact the billing department cannot seem to process in a timely manner is preventing me from this.

I was told on 5 separate…read moreoccasions that my insurance pre authorized the procedures and I wouldn't need to make any payments. 15 minutes before my last procedure, the front office lady called and canceled my appointment, said insurance denied everything, now I owe thousands of dollars and they will not complete the plan of care until it's paid in full. I spoke to Dr. S about this and he said he would send in a letter of medical necessity and proceed with the plan of care. Despite the Dr telling me directly to make the appointment, the front office lady refused. I called my insurance and they said they never received anything from the drs office. When I called this office to ask for the billing department, they hung up on me and when I called back they sent me to voicemail. When I kept calling, they said there is not a phone number to reach billing. What kind of doctors office doesn't allow patients to contact the billing department? Lawyers are involved. DO NOT COME HERE.

I have been a patient here of Internist, Dr Jack Poles' for over a decade and see him regularly…read moreevery 2-3 months at a minimum. I can honestly testify to the efficientcy of the front office, their willingness to strive to not only be pleasing and accommodating but they are also very aware they are in the healthcare business and often dealing with people who are not feeling well, so may be low on energy, patience, or just ill feeling from chronic illness and they are not just typical office clerical workers. Their approach is kind, friendly, compasionate, helpful and the atmosphere chereful. From a decade of experience with this office I have never had a billing error, a call or message not returned promptly, communication is always great if the Dr is running late which is uncommon (and I generally take the last appointment of the day which in most offices is the worst and the one that is going to be your latest because all of your 1-3 minutes over with each patient all day builds up to running 30-40 minutes late by late in the day. But not generally here and in the few instances he has been running late it has been communicated with me which for me makes it all okay! As you are called back to the back offices you will be greeted by one of the medical assistants to the Drs. Dr Poles main assistant "Mara" has been with him for many years (like 20?) and has an extremely strong medical background and is professional, compassionate, truly caring, listens to your issues in order to convet they completely to Dr Poles. She also the gift of a great memory to be able to recall you and your history from visit to visit which makes you feel at ease and cared for. Upon meeting Dr Poles and getting to know him I quickly understood why she had stayed working for him for so long....he is just as caring as she is. He truly listens to your concerns and how you feel about your health and body and how it is functioning and then he does an old fashioned real hands on examination which is something that seems to be going out of style these days with many younger Drs cutting down on appointment time slots and relying more strictly on lab results than hands on exams and what they can see, feel and hear. He is still doing it all and not allowing political climate nor Health regulations and reforms to interfere with his ability to practice good medicine as he hAs always done. I credit him with hearing me and getting me referred to specialists when I needed them when others did not hear me and I was able to get the care which I truly needed. He understands no one knows your body like one's self so the best source of information is listening to his patients. This along with his caring, compasionate personality make him a one of a kind very special man, & Dr. I am thankful for him & would not hesitate to recommend him or any of his partners in practice to anyone because from all I know they are all winners!

Not friendly to the employed that cannot turn off their phone. I received four calls in a minute span that I ended. Then another two calls a few hours later.
