He woke up with a fever and we had to get him in somewhere fast, as we suspected it was an ear infection. We get there at 4:40, and are "greeted" by an insanely rude employee saying nothing except "We're done here" in what I would consider a pretty aggressive tone. Not a "hi, I'm sorry we're closing down, but here are some other options for you.." or anything somewhat pleasant. And again, I recognize this is very last minute but the hours of operation state that they're open until 5, and we didn't have a lot of options (other than an emergency room which is not going to be our best option for ear infection.) if you're going to close at 4:30, that should be your posted hours! It's insane to expect people to just know when you decide to close up shop if it's not outside of the posted hours. And I could forgive that, and even maybe understand, if the employee wasn't so extremely disrespectful and crass. Unfortunately we just won't be returning here because honestly I don't have enough grace left in me to interact with that employee again. Sad when what was once a great business can be ruined by one horrible employee.

The doctor I saw Monday night studied microbiology and was familiar with my chronic, active autoimmune disease. It's well-known but not a lot of information is available about it. He was informative and provided a lot of insight. I felt like it was fate that he was the physician on-site that evening. I noticed most of the reviews here are from quite a while ago, so perhaps they now have new staff and systems in place. For these reasons, I felt it important to share what occurred during our past encounters. I've read all reviews and one person is furious because "all they did" was ask her a few questions and then prescribed antibiotics... I mean, what else did you want from them? They addressed your issue, and called in the meds you needed to heal... But in the same review, complained about the wait time! Could you imagine if the physician she saw that day gave EVERY patient the time SHE felt she was owed? If they continued to ask additional questions even after it was determined that rest and antibiotics were the answer? Unfortunately, doctors don't have a ton of time to visit with each patient. Sometimes people look for the negative, and you just can't win when that's the case. Personally, we're grateful for Progressive Urgent Care and hope that you give them a chance!
