Women's Haircut review! At first I had a bad impression of the salon.. walked in and for an hr no one checked me in, no one greeted me.. and i just sat there but Amanda turned it all around. She is a junior stylist so haircut price was $50. Includes wash and dry/style As you can see, I have super long hair and its hard for me to trust a new hair lady. So knowing I was getting paired with a junior stylist made me a little worried but.. Amanda did an amazing job taking the time to understand exactly what I wanted: Keep the length and put some layers in. in the before picture, it looks like I have Hagrid's hair.. When my wife colored her hair, they didn't do a full coloring, they did a partial... but they charged her for a full. We didn't realize it was a partial until we visited another stylist who knows the stylist/owner. The owner refused to acknowledge the discrepancy despite evidence in the form of receipts and text messages ("We don't have that name or number in our system," she lied). They refused to credit back our method of payment, even partially, and then we had trouble cancelling the follow-up appointment (no one answered the phone or returned messages) to the point where they charged us for the cancellation, which led us to disputing the charge on the card we gave them, canceling that card, and reissuing it because we don't want to go through this again. We have the evidence of all of this including witnesses and documentation. My wife talked me out of taking them to court over this to teach them a lesson but if they so much as dispute this even on Yelp, we'll come with the receipts and rethink getting lawyers involved. DO. NOT. GO. HERE. I'm sure other people have had good experiences here, but you don't want to risk this happening to you, do you? I recommend just going somewhere else. And as a reminder, the stylist was also the owner. So this problem wouldn't be solved by just firing the stylist putting us through this. read more

So, come to find out that I needed my color and toner, so I could get my hair done while out of town for a funeral and I call 3 times and "Felicia" who runs Modish salon and her crew of brainwashed idiots, they decide to gatekeep my color formula mix from me! It had been only a month since I came in for the first time. I then advised them that they can keep it and shove it where the sun doesn't shine! That is how you lose customers! Why do that?!...That is some serious bs, when they texted me prior and said that I could come in and "they" could do my hair as they had the color mix on a card profile to do my root color and toner for my highlights...wth?! I would not recommend these guys for any services...what a bunch of bs to have to go through such a waste of my time! So inconsiderate! Thankfully, in Houston they do have "real professionals", stylists who don't gatekeep, as I was able to get my hair done! read more
