Amazing car wash. Great service and really great quality as well. Definitely coming here again

With so many car wash options in Tampa, places like ModWash really need to step up their game--and unfortunately, this one just didn't deliver. Right off the bat, I was met with a pushy salesperson who insisted on walking me through the touchscreen process. Sometimes I just want to use the screen myself without being sold to or bothered. It's a simple thing, but it matters. When I asked for a receipt (because I was using a company card), I was told they were out of paper and there was no real alternative. Seriously? Get some paper. People need receipts for work and business expenses--this isn't a rare request. The amenities left a lot to be desired too. Unlike other car washes nearby, they didn't have any cleaning sprays or extras to tidy up the interior, the vacuum was weak, and no air freshener was provided. That's just basic stuff these days. Overall, I won't be back. I'd rather go to Bubble Down, Woody's, or Dan's--they're friendlier, better equipped, and simply more professional. read more

It's too bad that the car wash itself is so crappy. The employees there are great. They are very welcoming and polite. But the maintenance on the equipment leaves a lot to be desired. Two of the brushes aren't even working. An overhead one in the washing section. And one on the driver side during the rinse. As a result, I have to wipe off all the soapy water on the driver side of the car. Another problem is, your car gets pushed out of the blower/drying area before the back is dry or even partially dry. And now the monthly rates for the basic unlimited service went up from $21to $26. I think I'm going to cancel my membership. read more

Cancelled my service. Watched them as they canceled on the screen in front of me. I was told I had until 8/28 to use the rest of my paid month. I never went back, but they charged me again for another month. read more

This place is a scam! Equipment is always broken. Three lanes reduced to one that still doesn't work. When I go on the weekend, when it's convenient for me, their system doesn't recognize me and their "office" for customer service is only open M-F. I called to cancel and asked for a refund since they didn't let me in, even though I'm on autopay but they refused a refund. I feel like they aren't even trying to actually provide a service, just preying on people who set up autopay and then can't get what they've paid for. read more

I paid $25 for a car wash and was extremely disappointed with the quality. After my first run through, there were still a significant amount of bug splatters on my car--especially the windshield. I spoke with the employee on site, who kindly allowed me to go through a second time, but unfortunately, the results were no better. When I got home, I had to manually scrub the windshield myself to get it clean. At most car washes, there's usually someone who pre-scrubs the front windshield, especially when bug debris is involved. It's hard to justify a $25 price tag when basic service like that isn't provided. Sadly, this experience was unacceptable, and I won't be returning. read more

Car wash don't wash your car good and the tire shine left a brown film on the bottom of my white car, they didn't have any clean rags to wipe off the car, because the wash leaves alot of water on your car, I wasted my money. read more

I wanted a carwash only not an ongoing membership/monthly charge. The attendent walked me through the computer screen and never mentioned there was an ongoing membership requirement. The day I received an second charge by ModWash to my credit card I called them, but they refused to provide a refund. This is a scam and fraud! I'm placing a complaint with the BBB and will try to get my credit card from paying this scam. If there was a 0 star rating I would use it. read more

Just tried the new Modwash on Ehrlich, and I am super impressed. The wash was very very thorough my tires came out sparkling clean, vacuums are very powerful. When I parked the attendants helped me dry my car. Very impressed will definitely be buying a membership. A special shout out to Deylon, Roein, Sara, Darlin and GM-Kenny! read more

First the positives. Employees are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Car wash does great job. Now for the negatives. The vacuums on the entire right side have been out of order for 4 weeks now. This causes quite a bit of backup, confusion and even anger among the customers. Considering the proliferation of car washes in the area and that this is a new business, I'm not impressed and may have to join another car wash. I would not recommend. read more

Went through mod wash today due to the fact it's close to the house. Went through car wash. Everything was fine was waiting for a vacuum space. After setting for a few minutes, the employees came out and told me, I had to move, I told him I wanted to vacuum. They told me to park off to the side, at which point I would have to back into the vacuum. Show whoever was coming out of the car wash.We get first chance after asking if he was going to give us a credit.He kind of laughed. We will be going back to tidal wave car wash. Thought mod car wash would be great.Cause it's close to the house, but not satisfied with service. read more

My husband took his new GMC Canyon in for a wash. He was excited to have a car wash so close to the house as he takes his vehicle in a couple of times a month. As with most car washes there was a guy directing the vehicles through. As my husband was sitting in the vehicle and going through the wash he saw his antenna and the base (supposed to be on top of the roof) slide over the windshield and then it was gone. Staff did go in and retrieve the broken antenna but no one was able to replace it as it was broken. The car wash guy did say that he should have raised the bar prior to going through the wash. This cost my husband $900 to replace. Unfortunately, there was no reparations from Mod wash has they claim there is a sign that says they are not responsible for broken antennas. Need to say my husband immediately canceled his newly purchased membership and we will not be going back. read more

Just an FYI I went to wash my car at the new Modwash on Ehrlich . I like the fact that it's close to my house and I get to customize my wash. They have great vacuums and plenty of micro fiber towels. Now for the bad. As soon as my car commenced going thru the wash I noticed the main brushes the one that cleans the hood and roof and the one that does the right side of the car were not functioning. I brought it to the attention of the supervisor and he said They were aware of it and that they are still working out the bugs. Why have it running if there are still bugs to work out? No apologies , no refund , nothing. Great car wash just shouldn't be open yet if not fully functional. read more
