When they say "ER," they really mean it…read more Hemorrhaging air from a tire that I blew at the nearby dump (thanks, giant bolt in the middle of the road), I frantically raced here in a true state of automotive emergency, as the recently-marred tire went down... down... down... Calmly, two gentlemen who seemed like they ran the place walked right out, bringing with them their good old air hose, the soapy water, and a few tire plugs... patched the gigantic hole up in three minutes flat. And then they didn't want money... Seriously. "Thank you SO much. How much do I owe ya?" "Nah, your money is no good here!" "Oh come on, I gotta give ya something... you saved my ass here!" "We don't accept money here." "Yeah, We're on the burger system!" It was a funny exchange. But boy was it a menschy deed after all. As of recently I decided to use them for the not so run of the mill PORSCHE engine I had rebuilt by another company 2 years prior! Needless to say the last shop didn't rebuild what they charged me for and Brian at center was able to help me out. After that I brought center machine ANOTHER 6cyl Lemans engine. They stand behind their work and have no problem warranting any aspect they've touched. That's not easy to find when it comes to machine shops. The new ownership I decided to give a chance and the following is the reason I implore anyone to beware of this shop. They did not fix the tire rod on my car from an accident I had. Drove the car for months until I had to get an oil change where it was discovered my inner tires were bald due to the tire rod never being fixed (had zero incidents in between service). Was told by my dealership this could have happened 1 of 2 ways, from the tow truck hooking on to my car (I never used a tow truck) or the body shop never rotated my tires because they did not fix my tire rod. They would not have been able to rotate the tires if the tire rod was not fixed. Wood Ave gave my insurance and I the run around "looking" for the tire rotation paperwork but were never able to find it after 3 WEEKS. They think I'm an idiot, and I guess I am since I have to pay for brand new tires because they didn't do their job....on my car the first time around and not taking responsibility when their mistake was brought to light. Do yourself a favor and NEVER get your car serviced here.

They had my SUV for three days with excuse after excuse of Land Rover sending them the wrong parts. Two months later the rear brakes were squeaking and there was an excessive amount of brake dust on the wheels and my rear bumper. When I brought it back, the mechanic said they would replace the pads and rotors on the rear under "warrantee". Without taking it for a test drive and telling me it must be the calipers not greased enough, that was the red flag! I brought it home, looked closer and saw the CarQuest stamp on the pads and the rotors were not the same as the front. I still played stupid when I brought it back for the "warrantee" replacement. When I picked up the car after they replaced the rear pads and rotors, the mechanic told me it was squeaking because my wife ran over saw dust. I went off on both the mechanic and owner, the owners excuse was they put on the cheap ones because Land Rover still send them the wrong parts. They tried getting away with until the cheap parts they put on started squeaking! Do not trust them!!
