Our main pool pump died and the home warranty service had Moe's come and do the estimate. Quick response time, information was clear on what it would cost and time frame. Moe even gave me options different pumps he could have installed. We waited to call back and he had someone out within a few hours. Pump installed, his guy even gave advice on how to proceed with cleaning out the pool to get back to where it should be. We had a regular guy before the pump went out. Cost was completely reasonable for all the things our pool needed from years of repeated coats of epoxy paint by previous owners, as well as outdated electrical for the lamp, and multiple cracks that had occurred over time. " Carlos was Nice, Professional,& Explained Everything" Our Waterfill faucet on and off switch for our outdoor SPA would not shut off all the way, causing my SPA to fill up with water and overflow. I called my home insurance company and they sent Carlos from Moe's Pool Service out to my house to fix my problem. Carlos was very nice, and explained everything he was doing. He took his time to make sure everything was done right, as he put in a new on and off switch, at the top of my SPA. Carlos tested the new switch he put on many times, to make sure everything was OK. Home Insurance called this company to fix our heater, they were an hour late took our $75 said it was fixed after 10 minutes, which it wasn't. Then sent our Home Insurance company a notice that they won't work on the pool heater. I called them about sending our Insurance company the note about them saying they won't work on the heater, he said he never said that then the insurance company read me his note where he said he won't work on the heater verbatim. So then why did they say they fixed it if they don't work on those heaters and what was the $75 for? Good luck to anyone who uses them, my experience was not the best read more

Great guy to work with and was very patient because I always forgot to leave the money out. But the pool did always get green when it got hot out and would always refuse to honor the fact that it was his responsibility and tried to charge us extra to resolve the greening pool( but would end up taking care of it). And we canceled for two days because we were in the process of moving but decided to stay and so he upped the monthly bill by 50%. read more

Great company! Called because my pool pump was making a loud noise. Spoke with the owner over the phone and sent text with video and photos of the pump. Owner was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the issue. He sent a worker to correct the problem in less than 2 hours. Also didn't try to up sell me. Used this company for a few years. I choose this company because our neighbors use Moe's for pool service and the gentleman that comes out every Thursday is very nice and respectful. Unfortunately they would not give us Thursdays. They said only Monday service was available. The guys who have come to our home are young, lazy and ALWAYS on their phones. They literally watch videos while trying to clean the pool. They take a very long time and they sometimes look very disheveled. They suddenly told us they were moving the service to Saturdays; we objected, who wants a pool guy coming out when your trying to enjoy your weekend? They completely ignored our request and continued to come Saturdays, mid day at that! I can't recommend this company. read more

Mixed feelings about Moe's pool service. Are used them for over 3 1/2 years from the start up of my brand new pool and I felt that the weekly maintenance was very good. Unfortunately though I had some issues with my thermostat and heater display. Moe sent out a technician who gave me a $270 estimate which I agreed to. When I got home that evening I found out the bill had bloomed over $1400 as he found other things that needed to be replaced without my permission. I was extremely upset and said "how could you do such a thing without my permission"? He said "fine we'll take it all out and you can just pay me the $150 appearance fee you agreed to. They went ahead and took out all the parts they installed leaving me a heater that didn't work at all. I was worse off than before they started. I was extremely upset and had numerous conversations with Moe which prompted him to contact a rep from Pentair who eventually decided to cover my equipment that was a few months out of warranty. So in the end my issue was taken care of but the process left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll let you decide, make sure you get everything in writing upfront read more
