The company needs to train their staff on proper wrapping procedures, and being customer friendly. Went in Tuesday evening, no greeting, nothing. Asked for a burrito. The woman proceeded to go through the motions of preparing it. When it came to the fixing bar, and the wrapping stage, she messed it up, could not properly wrap it, proceeded to get another tortilla and dump the contents into the new one. My burrito looked like shit, I was upset, and would have walked out, had my husband not started ordering his. I'm still kicking myself for not walking out! I even explained to the young man how my burrito looked unappealing. He stated must have been a bad shell. I will never go back there again, and will reach out to corporate. read more

Was on a road trip and found this location on Google, so we decided to try and call our order in ahead, to save time. I called FOUR times, and no one answered. We still drove up and my husband went inside to order two quesadillas. With rice and beans. He came back out and said the employees were like watching zombies, lifeless and almost spooky quiet. The cashier told my husband to insert his debit card into the reader and then she put her head down. ?? Also noticed a worker behind the food prep area with no mask on despite the MASKS REQUIRED sign on the front door. Im not sure if it's the management but I've never had a problem with ANY of the Moes back home. First, no one ever says welcome to moes. No one asks how you're doing. Everyone always looks pissed off. The lady that works the cash register is not friendly what so ever. She rolled her eyes when I asked her to repeat a question because I couldn't hear. It just looks bad. This wouldn't be a problem but it's the same case every time I go in. I've worked at the same restaurant for 3 years- I get it, you have bad days, maybe a customer is rude to you. We were not greeted as we walked in tonight by the three employees working the front counter. As we walked up to the first employee to place our order she was bent over with both elbows on the counter staring at us with a total look of disgust. I asked if they were still serving and when she mumbled , "yes" still bent over, my husband and I decided to leave. As we walked out one of your employees said, "have a great night" in a very sarcastic tone! Your manager was one of the three standing there and seemed to find the entire situation funny! How many bad reviews will it take before Corporate looks into this particular store???? How many customers are you willing to lose? I will call corporate tomorrow. I doubt it will make any difference as my complaint looks similar to so many others but one can hope for the sake of future customers. Every time we order from the app they forget something or mess it up. We even tip 10-15% each time. They have been going down hill for the past 2 years. Remodeling hasn't changed the food quality or service either. Eating in doesn't change the quality either. Not worth it anymore. read more

A reasonable alternative to the Chipotle weary. Service was friendly. Each person entering the store is welcomed. I had a quesadilla. While I like their tortilla, it was woefully lacking cheese. Sour cream should be a standard, automatic side on a quesadilla, but is not here. They have 5 unlimited salsas that are self service. The tortilla chips are light, the way I like them. Stopped by again: at end of the lunch rush. Folks just were not on their game. May think twice about stopping by again. read more

I have enjoyed Moe's food and friendly welcome for years but tonight (3/6/19) was bad. The counter girl asked if I wanted queso but didn't (apparently) hear me say 'No'--then started to ladle it on. I told her no, I am allergic to dairy. She and others finished my burrito pleasantly, or so I thought. At the end of the line Michelle, the general manager, approached and asked me what was my problem. I think she wanted to fight. She alternately told me that the counter girls couldn't hear because of the fans behind the counter and that I had shouted at them. Not true. She said repeatedly I told the girl to 'unstop her ears' and said I disrespected her. Neither is true. The girl herself told me she didn't her me say that. But the GM could not let it go. My wife backed me up. She heard everything. When I asked the GM to leave me alone, she repeated how I disrespected the girl. I finally threw away my food and left without eating. I've been going to Moe's for years, first in Charlotte, now in South Carolina. Can't go again here for fear I'll run into the same angry GM. She has a big problem but I'm not the guy that created it. I just hope when this place closes they don't transfer the GM to another store. read more

Was kind of worried when I pulled up with my family and the restaurant was empty on a Friday night at 5:30. My worries were fully realized as I was greeted with a very depressing "welcome to Moe's" and the staff were looking at the ingredients with disgusted looks on their faces and not acknowledging that my family and I were standing at the counter ready to order. The two people who were at the counter just walked away while a third came up and just stood there without saying anything and stared at me. I ignored the silence and ordered a homewrecker and got the fewest ingredients I've ever gotten at a Moe's restaurant. I got most of the ingredients available on my burrito, but they put so little of each it ended up looking like a kids burrito. No one wanted to wrap the burrito either, so the cashier came over and wrapped it. After I was checked out at the register the manager who had switched with the cashier stuck my receipt in my cup. TLDR: Bad service and gross ingredients for the price. read more

Ate here for the first time using a free entree coupon. I ordered a spicy nacho steak burrito. The ingredients weren't as fresh as they could have been and the steaks texture was a bit chewy. I would not have spent 11 to 13 bucks on the meal that I had. Don't get me wrong the food was decent, it's just not worth what they are charging you for it. I mean for what they are charging you could buy and make your own Mexican food or go to a buffet and have your fill. I would have given Moe's Southwest Grill three stars if not for the outrageous prices for food that has been sitting out for who knows how long. I'm so disappointed. I got charged for queso and they did not put it on my earmuffs bowl. The price of queso is already astronomical but I thought I'd treat myself today. You cannot even fathom my sadness when got home and looked in my bowl and saw no queso. Very upset. May never return. read more

I will never eat here again! The place has always felt like it was dirty, and today it was for sure. On top of that, the 12-year-olds making my order really didn't seem to care much at all, about anything, other than laughing and giggling. The salsa bar was a complete mess, the trash cans were running over, and the place was just generally unkept. I got a burrito bowl, Supposedly, but there were only about three or four pieces of chicken. Definitely not worth the price. Really enjoyed my visit. The place was clean, the salsa bar was clean and just well kept. The ladies were nice. They young girl that made my burrito really cared about what she was doing. Chips were hard and stale. My husband's tortilla was so hard on one side and chewy on the other that he had to dump the filling out and eat it with a fork. I took a survey on the back of my receipt and before I had left the manager called my phone and yelled at me for complaining. The food is good but way too overpriced. My biggest issue was the long line to the door. It sucks to be in line so far back that the traffic back and forth makes u feel like u r in the way. So myself and my two coworkers placed online orders here. We had all ordered either burritos or nachos, made out orders combos to get extra chips and cups of queso. I went to pick up our orders. While I was making our drinks I asked if they had anymore sweet tea left. One employee rolled her eyes and got an attitude, then told me they would have to make some more. I told them that I would just get something else. When I got back to work, we realized we did not have all of our food. One of my coworkers and myself was missing our chips and cups of queso. My other co worker was missing his chips, salsa and had the small side of queso instead of a cup. I then went online and left a complaint on the website, and never heard back from anyone about the issues. While I am thankful for the employee that helped me carry the food and drinks to my car, it still frustrating to pay so much money for food and not get it. This is not the first time we have had issues with this particular restaurant. Last time we called and complained to a manager there and the order was made right. But we can't always leave our work multiple times to get food, much less go and get food that was never given to us that we paid for. read more
