I spent over $55 dollars for an order, paid online. When I went to pick it up, I asked for one sour cream. The lady at the register said .81 cents.. I get it's a cost but I just spent $55 with you and you couldn't give me one sour cream without asking for .81 cents. Can take as may sauces as you want but can't have one sour cream... I really like how the salsa bar is prepackaged, so much more sanitary than other places while also making it easy to try a variety of salsas. We came here for dinner one night when we were in the area. The staff was friendly but they weren't helpful at all when we told them it was our first time here. I asked for suggestions and she couldn't really suggest anything. I ordered the nachos and my husband got a burrito bowl. The nachos weren't very filling. Mostly lettuce and hardly any beef. My husband thought his was just ok but a little salty. The salsa bar is nice but they charge you if you get more than 2 things of it and the containers are small. I was missing Texas Tex-Mex and was recommended this place; it was a good taco place. Service was good very helpful and welcoming. Not packed when we went. I couldn't finish my corn wished it had been in a cup. And the cilantro salsa was good! They even brought us chips to our table so that was nice we got to try all the salsas. Twice in a row I ordered the exact same thing, and both times the same exact ingredients were missing. I guess they don't read the order. The first time I got the Mexican bowl with Carne Asada, everything was really delicious, I was just upset that it did not include the pico de gallo and shredded cheese that I asked for. Today, the bell peppers and onions that are supposed to be grilled are crunchy, the beef is full of gristle and not seasoned well at all, literally taste like nothing and is hard to chew, and again no pico de gallo and no shredded cheese. My husband and I have been eating here for well over 3 years now. They even catered our wedding! We had never had bad service. The food is amazing. It is fast paced your order before you sit down and then they bring it to you. There is a salsa bar. However, last night, they wanted to deny me extra buffalo sauce on the side for the wings. I have never had an issue getting this before. If a customer is willing to pay for something, give it to them. It's not like I was asking for it for free. Not sure if the kid was new, or what. The guac was thin and didn't really have anything added to it super bland. The beef, pretty sure it was just plain unseasonably hamburger....didn't even seem to have salt it was so bland. Just unbelievably bland, you could probably use this place for catering at old folks homes, the only Mexican place with food safe for elderly weak stomach seniors unable to chew or digest spices. Honestly, skip feeding this to grandma, she deserves better. This place is dull and bland and offers no reason for a return visit. Staff was nice so they got an extra star. They were delicious but I thought the price of 9.99 was a little pricey for the quantity of food received. Nevertheless, I was adequately full with the addition of chips and salsa. I placed a catering order for $758. The day before I needed my food, I was told that ice was not included with the four gallons of tea. In order to get ice, I needed to pay an additional $3. To do that, the catering manager wanted me to swing by one of their restaurants to pay the $3. A $758 order and she can't throw in a bag of ice??? My order arrived 20 minutes late, and was missing some of the tea. When I reached out to tell the catering manager about the missing tea, she responded with "wow". The service was excellent, far better than anyone would expect from any taqueria. Several people asked us how the food was, or how they could help us. When my son spilled his soda , the young man who helped us clean it up was helpful and very kind to my son. As is always the rule, don't judge this place by its strip mall location. Excellent tacos. We have been to this location 7 times in the past few months. The first five were amazing. We loved everything we got and settled on meals we would get every time. The last two times we have ordered quesadillas and gotten tacos instead. When bringing this to their attention that we were given the wrong food and the receipts clearly stated and cashed out the higher quesadilla price as well, they refused to get the correct order and refused to refund. I always like to test any new taqueria or Mexican restaurant by their carnitas. My carnita tacos where very nicely seasoned and cooked. The cook was dead on with the juicyness of the pork with crispy edges. Simply topped with cilantro, raw chopped onion, and squirt of fresh lime, they were perfect. It's not fancy by any means but wow did they crank out some amazing tacos. My husband had Carne Asada tacos and I tried the Birra version. Both were spectacular. For you first timers, they give you a bowl of chips when you order and there is a standing fridge by the front door where you can grab some salsa. Each customer is allowed 3 containers free of charge (you will be charged $.25 for any you take after the initial free ones). We tried the Pico, the salsa verde and the salsa Rojas...all 3 were fresh tasting and delicious. We will be back and probably very soon!!! read more
