But I was seriously disappointed with the food. The good: as you enter, the place smells really good. It's cute and vibrant. The son was there and brought us chips and salsa after we ordered. The chips came out warm and their salsa was good but better after they brought out the spicier one. You order at the counter and seat yourself. The menu has a lot of options. The not so good: the food had absolutely zero flavor. The birrias were super bland and the beef was mushy. The dipping sauce had a cinnamon taste to it but had zero flavor. They were out of carnitas and el pastor so my boyfriend settled for steak and beef tongue tacos. I just realized I had cow tongue thinking it was beef. I was expecting flavor and it was bland too.
