We were in the restaurant for approximately 2 hours, and by the end of the meal my special needs child was very overstimulated and upset and we were focused on getting her home. My poor husband was flustered because he was worried I would react to the food allergy, and trying to calm my special needs daughter at the same time, and mistakenly never handed the cashier his card. She stood there and watched him sign the (wrong) receipt and didn't say a word. We even waited for our friends to check out behind us, and still nothing was said. To my surprise, I get numerous texts today (7/10 ) that my picture is on Facebook and we have been accused of stealing. With this clearly being an accident (you can see all of the mentioned factors in the video) I just think the situation could have been handled much much better. This whole fiasco also had the potential to affect my husband's job as well as my own business. My husband IMMEDIATELY called to clear up the situation, however after removing the post with our picture on it Sol Azteca made an additional post about the situation. This could have been handled much differently and with so much more grace. They have PERMANENTLY lost our business and I will be warning people about their very uncalled for, immature, antagonistic behaviors when it came to the situation.

There is no ability to order online, so we called the order in. The online menu was massive, yet for the most part, it was easy to navigate. Parking is plentiful since the restaurant is located on HWy 96 in the Publix shopping center. When I picked up the meal, the staff was friendly. Most importantly, our order was not missing anything. The ambiance was relaxed, with plenty of booths, and they also had tables for large groups. There is a small outdoor seating area on the side of the restaurant. Our order included chips and salsa, which we all enjoyed. The salsa was spicy and truly pleased my tastebuds. My husband ordered the shrimp fajitas, which he enjoyed. His meal included plenty of shrimp and veggies. Our son had the Texas fajitas and also enjoyed his meal. They both had enough left over to eat the next day. I had a mystery meal under the mixed section called New! Shrimp House Special. My meal was basically shrimp fajitas on top of soggy rice. The rice was way too mushy to eat, but the rest of my Entree was good. They probably should have put the rice in another container. We will definitely come back and will dine in next time.

There are several places better than this place. We ordered a cheese dip, guacamole, choripollo, shrimp quesadilla and a Mexican Pizza. The guacamole was...disgusting. It looked like something from a diaper. There was no life to it. The cheese dip was runny like water or milk had destoyed it into a flavorless soup. The chorizo was wayyy too greasy and tasted burnt. The chicken was dry, flavorless and overcooked. My knife barely could cut it. It also came out cold. The rice was undercooked. It was clumpy and dry. Highly in need of salt. The tortillas were definitely store bought and heated from a chef Mike. They could barely be bitten through to take a bite. You had to saw through it with your teeth. My husband couldn't finish the pizza. It was one flavor profile with the only thing fresh being the onions. The onions and peppers on the quesadilla came from the frozen section of Walmart. Service was okay. Very overbearing like they wanted to flip the table ASAP. All in all, it was $86. Bathrooms were at least clean...
