Ok, so I am travelling and I got into town before my other colleagues got here. I saw a Moe's and I remembered the Austin location being good before it closed -- and I'm always up for Mexican. So why not, right? First, they're very nice and they provide a good value by including chips and a salsa bar with your burrito. They also have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine and iced tea. By the way, they were completely out of iced tea. Second, the burrito is exactly "meh." Even though they used their steamer to warm and press the tortilla, the tortilla was still lukewarm at best. Moe's also doesn't have the variety of toppings that some other chains have, although I did like the ability to add grilled mushrooms. Bluntly, the burrito was lacking in flavor, which might've been helped by the salsa, but for two faults. First, the salsa is only available at the salsa bar as opposed to putting it on the burrito as it is prepared. Second, the salsa needs to, as Emeril used to say, be "kicked up a notch." The salsa was about as spicy as ketchup at most fast food restaurants. Moe's has so much potential, but it's just not firing on all cylinders, at least tonight. read more

Went twice. It's JUST ok. Food was on bland side and not hot enough. The people behind the counter seemed bored and clueless which is a shame because the place is fairly new. I might try one more time if I want a quick burrito. Hopefully they have worked out the kinks! read more

Please get your act together Moe's!! My children love you, but you're getting on my last nerve. Every time we come something is amiss. Today it's no napkins and only one operational garbage can. No napkins? Your food is eaten BY HAND!! Go to Walmart and buy some temporary napkins to get you through to your next delivery!!! Not acceptable. read more

Save your money and go to Taco Bell. First time here and also my last. The steak was a fatty chewy mess with the flavor of a bag of sand. Cilantro rice tasted like boiled instant and the mild salsa had a plastic taste. Paid 8$ for a flavorless mini burrito and a hand full of chips but on a more positive note the staff was supper friendly. read more

Service from the employees is excellent as well as the atmosphere. The idea of building my own burrito like I was at Subway is really nice too. I'm going to give 4 stars due to the fact it is way overpriced. Food is delicious, but $35 for three people is crazy. In my opinion, the place is a combination of Taco Bell and Chipotle's restaurant. Welcome to moooes!!! That's the first thing anyone hears when they walk in the door. The staff is always nice and you can watch them prepare you order as you go. The queso is amazing. Now before you get excited there are some things you need to know. This is a fast good type place with a great atmosphere. The price is a little much for a family of four. I love the fact that they serve tofu! There aren't many places are vegetarian friendly, but Mo's has a few vegetarian options. However, I find that their food is just mediocre. The burritos do not compare to other Tex-Mex chains like Chipotle and Sharky's. Their salsas are ok, but nothing to go crazy over. read more

I went to Moe's in Houma, la. My son order a steak burrito it was for 7 00 and something but the few pieces of meat was not worth the price. I ask that all the meat for round of 8 .50. The worker said that all and I said well I refuse to order. I took my service to Chipotle Mexico Grill in Houma. First time there and the food was delicious and fresh looking also the staffs were great. My son order an burrito and it was full of everything. My son ask me can he get more meat I said no but the worker add just two more pieces and my son and I was very happy. It was not about the amount she added made us happy, it was she want to satisfy her customers. And those two pieces made a difference in our heart and souls. Now that how you do it Moe's. Happy customer is the most important that thing. read more

This is my all time favorite Mexican restaurant!! They have great service and and it's always fun to hear "welcome to MOE'S" right when you walk through the door. 10/10 would recommend. You can make whatever you think of that's Mexican food related, it's like a glorified Taco Bell/ subway. One thing you can't go with out is the Queso! You can order on the app and get it to go like my family always does or you can sit in and dine for a nice meal out. read more

Waited 5 minutes before even being greeted and there was one customer in front of me. The girl wasn't very friendly when taking my order and I got such small portions that the $9 bowl didn't even fill the bottom of the bowl. I also had to ask them for my free chips when they didn't give me any. Not very pleased with the service here. read more
