    Smothered burrito.

We enjoy eating here. It's a subway for burritos. You can build a bigun or not. Ok first off. Burrito builders need to listen. I had to tell them several times only a half a scoop of beans to watch them dump enough blacks beans on the burrito to make a meal of. I like tasting the other ingredients too. My jalapeño was dumpbin one spot and not spread out. Second I asked the difference in chicken meat and was told one was white meat and the other dark. Not that they were differently spiced. Cracked me up. Three... I like spicy so not a issue for me but they wasn't mild salsa other than pineapple ... however that salsa was pretty good, Fourth... tell your employees to speak up. The counter lady I had was talking so low I thought I lost my hearing. Fifth... none of my ingredients was hot. The chicken meat had a rubbery texture than felt like it was microwaved. It was also very dry. The food just did not seem to have the same quality and taste as it did on our previous visits. The dining is clean as were the food bar and drink station. Then... my wife ordered a junior homewrecker and got charged for a large. I hope this was just an off day and not a sign of a place that is established and is slacking off. This visit was disappointing.

    a burrito and chips

Great little Mexican subway restaurant! same concept as Flying Burrito but the flavors are better and the salsa is better!

This place is THE best! The Grande Homewrecker was worth the two hour drive. They made me a 3.1 lbs, 14 inch long burrito that I named Particia. She could sit up on her own... It was beautiful! 10/10 would recommend to anyone that can't commit to having kids but loves burritos...

Had lunch here the other day and it was really good. It is a fast casual setting. You walk in and they assemble your food to order. Their ingredients are fresh and a good variety of items you can choose from. They don't have any freezers, so their ingredients are fresh and made every day. I ordered a burrito bowl with chicken lime ancho, rice, black beans, guacamole, and grilled onions. Super good! You can also order burritos, tacos, quesadilla, stacked tortillas and salads. All entrees come with chips. I also had their queso and it was good! They have a salsa bar with 5 different options. They have a couple options that are seasonal and change every so often. They have mild, medium and hot salsas. Customer service was good and efficient. They have tables and booths for seating inside. There is also tables outside on their patio with umbrellas. Check this place out!

This is always a good place to go. Chips and salsa are free with your purchase and the staff are friendly, only down side is the location.

Interestingly, they were…read moreplaying Cuban jazz and salsa--pleasant, but I found myself wishing for something like Selena y Los Dinos or Emmanuel Cortes to better match the vibe. The agave spirits selection is underwhelming, though that may be influenced by visiting the day after "Gringo de Mayo." The chips are comparable to standard "restaurant-style" options you'd find at a grocery store. The quesadilla is a bit unusual--there's no integrated mix of cheese and protein. Instead, the components are kept separate, which explains why the menu describes it as "baked." I initially thought that was odd, but it makes more sense now. The ranchero beans are overly salted, with little depth beyond that. While there appear to be other seasonings, they don't come through. The rice is plain and unremarkable.

When we arrived at the hotel late, we wanted to grab a quick dinner and I had eaten at an Abuelo's in Orlando many times. Felt like that was a solid choice for us since we knew it was not a gamble. Rick was our server and he was helpful and friendly. He brought out their trio of salsas with hot tortilla chips that felt like they were made minutes before. Not sure if they are, but they did taste fantastic! I love their queso here, and they had a Diablo one that I hadn't had before but we decided to get the dip trio- queso, Diablo queso, and guacamole. What an epic decision! They came with more tortilla chips but also chicharrones which was sturdier and could hold up to the thicker Diablo queso and guacamole. I couldn't stop eating the salsa and dips. I chose to get a combination plate, with an enchilada, taco, and tamale. Rick mentioned they had a mashed potato side that was tasty- not expected for a Mexican restaurant but I decided to take the recommendation. Rick came through, honestly I could've eaten just the dips and potatoes and had been super happy about it. I overate, which was a problem but in a good way because I fell asleep immediately after we got back to the hotel. We were doing a crazy travel week where we were in 5 states, two countries for meetings, so not a lot of rest. It's part of a chain but this one was clean, friendly, with great execution on the food. Rick was clutch with more salsa and chips which in the end was my undoing but I didn't care. Visit here and make sure you try their dips, and the mashed potato side which may have been one of the best things I had all week. Dead serious! The next time I go I'm going to ask for no rice and beans and just get these crazy mashed potatoes. Thank you Rick and Abuelo's for reminding me that every now and then, going to eat at a chain spot is still a good thing.
