Wyomissing Moe's was one of my favorite places to eat for quite some time. However I see that Corporate Greed is starting to take over like most other places. Stopped by on May 30, 2025 and really looking forward to getting a Nacho. The last few times I have come to this store I no longer got the "Welcome" which I believe made this place stand out above all others. It appears now that Moe's is making all Nacho orders "To Go" regardless if you are ordering the item in the store or not. There is a significant portion size difference between what you put on the tray and what they put in a small plastic container. I was told that this is how they make them now and was first told that the portion size is not different. Then I was told that they are now making them all "To Go" so the portion size is what you should have been receiving. However the price is still the same or more. I see this as Corporate Greed and trying to cut corners to save a little hoping that your customer does not notice. However with the Nacho it really stands out. Now I did speak with a manager there and she did offer to make the Nacho the old way but I did decline since they already made a Chicken Club for me. I didn't want to waste food. I have noticed that the Chicken Club is being presented different then it has in the past. They seem to stack the two pieces directly on top of each other. In both my cases I have had this it makes the item rather soggy and something I would not like to eat. Maybe it is just me but small things like this make a huge difference to the customer experience and deciding if I want to go back. I do know for awhile they have changed their cheese to a white cheese. I do believe the cheese Moe's used before was much better. I have had hit and miss on the lettuce. Some times I get the shredded lettuce which I prefer and sometime they have much larger lettuce which I don't think is good with their products. In my opinion consistency would be better and again small things like this make a huge difference. They are very quickly to tell you that something is going to cost "Extra", which is a good thing. However both my wife and I have had to remind them on the item we are getting that Guac is included and not "Extra". This comes down to proper training and again it makes a huge difference on the customer experience. They are staring to make me think that I am in Chipotles where it seems like everything cost extra. The point system has also change and not for the better. They had a simple point system that once you hit an amount you got 10$ which could be used on anything. Now you need a specific amount to get a specific item. It also takes a lot more to get the item. Again I see this as Corporate Greed. At one point they had a good App for their system. They made changes and redesigned it and I can't see how it was for the better. I do hope that Moe's will go back to the way they was before because this was one of my go to locations for this type of food. read more

Quick service, hot fresh food and a clean well maintenance dining area get my vote for a good bite.

I go to Moe's about once a week; delicious food every time. The homewrecker burrito bowl is my favorite. The different salsas that are available are great too. Sometimes they try different salsa flavors out with what seems to be beta testing. Currently there is a great black cherry Chipotle salsa that is labeled as available for a limited time. Don't forget the free tortilla chips with every entree. Each entree gets a free order of chips with it - something that usually costs extra at other burrito chains. The process is familiar: Select the ingredients that you want. You don't have to pay extra for almost any of the ingredients that you go for. Guac is free! They have an app for ordering ahead with full customization options - although sometimes you'll order ahead and the order won't be prepared until you arrive; honestly not sure why that happens. That app works well though and is user friendly. They have a loyalty/rewards program, as well. Earn points each time you order. One thing to note with the app, is that you can't split ingredients up in terms of portions like other places might allow you to. For example you can't get half black beans and half pinto beans. You have to choose one or the other. They sometimes have promotional offers to help bring you into their location such as discounts on specific items or combinations. Or bonus points if you order within a certain amount of time. The bonus points can get used to future orders. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Listen I'm not expecting gourmet food from Moe's. It's a fast food joint but I would think there would be at least a fraction of quality ingredients. I ordered two tacos and some nachos to go. When I got home they had completely forgot to add the toppings I chose to one of my tacos not to mention the tacos had maybe half a spoonful of meat in them and were literally soaking in sour cream. My nachos? Last time I checked queso should have some body to it and be somewhat thick right? Can someone please explain why my queso was the consistency of water. They put in literally two pieces of very poorly season fatty steak. The queso was so watery that in the five minute drive it took to get back to my house the nachos were soggy and falling apart. This place is disgusting. I'll take my chances at McDonalds next time. read more

We order three times per month from the Wyomissing location. I normally order on the app and pick up. The past three months, they have not been able to include the correct number of salad dressings. I always have to check my bag while picking up and go to the counter for another dressing. Tonight we did DoorDash. I ordered two dressings and held my breath that they would arrive. Moe's is a decent place to go for fast food Tex-Mex. Better than Chipotle if you ask me. Menu is limited, but maybe that's a good thing. I'd rather go to a place where they do a few things well as opposed to a place that tries to do it all and fails. Like the other reviewers, I don't really get why they need to have cute names for the items. Can I just order a large burrito instead of ordering a "homewrecker?" Makes me feel just a bit guilty. The food items are prepared in an assembly line fashion, very much the same way that subway does it. So you can select what you want as you go down the line. Ingredients seem to be fairly fresh and tasty. They do charge extra for guacamole, which seems kind of dumb to me. One nice thing they have is a salsa bar, where you can load up on a variety of salsas. Though frankly I didn't find any of them particularly outstanding, it's still a nice touch. Absolutely amazing Tex-Mex chain. I love going here for "Moe's Monday" since they deals are excellent. A home-wrecker meal is only $6.99, with nachos, queso dip, and a drink during Monday's. The burritos are always filled with savory flavor and busting at the seams with mouthwatering delight in every bite. I love the seasoned rice and all the other fresh ingredients that go into the burritos here. My mouth is watering just writing this review! The restaurant is always clean, staff is relatively friendly, though hard to hear over the noisy environment sometimes. If there's a line at the door, don't be alarmed, it moves quick and it's well worth the wait, trust me. The "Freestyle" Coke machine is just an added bonus! read more

Just ordered Moes through door dash. Ordered double chicken and when I got my food there was less than a half order of chicken on it.

This use to be one of our favorite places to come for a quick but filling meal that was good but wow.... I can't say I will NOT be back now! I had very little chicken on my burrito and the guacamole I got was less than the spoon full but was charged. The college girls that were filling orders were LESS than polite and borderline rude in their service with one girl actually rolling her eyes at me when placing my order. Their personal skills where extremely lacking and they obviously feel they are better than where they are working but the funny thing was... that's where they worked and that is fine BUT just because you feel you are above an establishment has nothing to do with how you treat customers as you are essentially in the customer service business. I won't be returning since the last few times it has been met with rude service and I can just go to chipotle! read more

Ive been visiting this Moes location now and then for a good handful of years now and have had only a very few bad experiences with staff. I don't know what happened to this place but it has gotten way worse over the last year. This location was my first introduction to Moe's and I absolutely loved the food when it opened. Never had any issues. Always will be a fan but this location is done for me. The last 3 times I stopped by here, I had an issue. Each time when I picked up a burrito the tortilla did not get wrapped correctly spilling everything out when I took off the foil. Today, the rice was extremely undercooked, the chicken was burnt, and the half of the chips were mushy with oil. There just doesn't seem to be much care taken into the food anymore. Ever since I visited my first Moe's a couple years ago I was instantly hooked always begging people to join me in their Tex-Mex delights. Not sure if it was just this location but it seemed like the menu was smaller than the last one I was at, but luckily they had create your own burrito this time. Everything was just as good as I remembered and my favorite thing about this place has always been the salsa bar because I enjoy dumping a large mound of salsa on my burrito before each bite. They also now have mobile offers sent to your cell phone and have an easy sign up at the cash register where you only have to enter your phone number. The first one that was sent to my phone was buy a burrito get one free. Not too bad of a deal. The only downsides were there were no spicy salsas (except for one in a small bottle) and my wife wanted more pico than the small cup they gave her. She suggested they put the pico in the salsa bar. It did hit the spot though and I enjoyed taking a trip down memory lane. read more

Moe's is promoting Meat-Free Mondays on its website, which is refreshing to see. Now how about a Meat-Free day at Moe's? Is any restaurant brave enough to attempt this? Moe's is part of the new wave of fast food with better-designed and lit stores, some thought into the source of the food, and a nod to alternative diets. (When will we get a Pei Wei or some other Asian fast food? Lyfe Cafe surely won't come here either.) Vegans on the run could do worse, since fast food usually offers a grim selection of either french fries or soda. Moe's has a Tofu Bowl -- yes, organic tofu and the word vegetarian are actually on the regular menu! They say their meats are grass-fed, hormone-free, free-range, etc., but less-horribly-sourced meat is not cheap, so I would like to ask them how they do it when grocery-stores cannot. Someone's too-cute idea to yell "Welcome to Moe's!" every time a customer enters gets old quickly, and my bf thought they were saying "We're about to close" at first. Dear corporate headquarters, the staff is busy enough -- don't humiliate them further with your zany notions. I'm still smarting from my long ago days in chain restaurants, where I was regularly reprimanded for not following inane scripts designed to manipulate patrons into buying more. Ask me about the "Hook, Line, & Sinker." Other cuteness comes with the food names, and I wonder why the literally-named Tofu Bowl escaped this. Maybe I am the wrong demographic, because I don't get the names like Art Vandalay and Unanimous Decision and Personal Trainer -- these sound more like race horses. :-) Loud boring classic rock plays, and it probably seems so old-old-old to the teenaged staff. But there is plenty of good to report, despite my kvetching. Whole wheat tortillas are available, and the fixings you customize your order with (as you follow the person along the counter; don't lean, says the sign) are plentiful: grilled mushrooms, cilantro, two kinds of hot peppers, olives, freshly-made pico de gallo, two kinds of beans, even lime slices, and their salsas are great. Guacamole costs extra, but not on the veg burrito, very fair. I would skip the rice on my burrito next time; maybe I am just sloppy, but I find these things hard to eat when they are stuffed so full. Huge size for less than $6. His Tofu Bowl was a rice and beans dish with all the other stuff thrown in. Since he skipped the cheese, he asked for extra tofu which he got. There is also a low-fat and a gluten-free menu, and they have a list of common allergens online. I'd love to see veg chicken or vegan sour cream too. And I appreciate the tiered pricing with the veg stuff being cheaper. I like that there is unsweetened iced tea as well as the swee'tea -- that way I don't have to choose between high-fructose corn syrup and aspartame (but isn't it time to banish Diet Coke and bring on the Coke Zero?). Too bad no one ever serves flavored seltzer. Don't throw your receipt away -- you can take a survey and get a coupon for a free burrito, free cup of queso, and so on. This place is the best Moes around ! The food is always consistant, the manager Seth Rogan, is always on his game and the place is always clean. They can move thru large lines like Hilary Cliton deletes confidential emails, fast and that is Damm fast ! I like this location because the portions are always consistant and the salsa is filled and clean. How this place stays in business is beyond me. Glacially slow service, dirty tables, mumbling employees, absolutely mediocre food. Fortunately, it seems they have eased up on the asinine practice of yelling out "Welcome to Moe's" every time someone walks in the door. Sure, I appreciate being greeted but do it when I walk up the ordering line instead of yelling it out and disturbing everyone else in the place. I only go here because my daughters like it. I had been to the Moe's in Philadelphia and Harrisburg and am always eager to see Mexican cuisine in my neighborhood. I have been to the New Moe's next to Pier I in Reading a few times now and I like it. It is simplistic and quick. The menu is a bit to figure out, as it is a mix of Sienfeldish/ Friends humor but it is a burrito, taco fajita type fare that is good in a pinch for Berks county Tex-Mex. You can eat healthy too with a wheat tortilla and that is a plus for me. Love the "Welcome to Moe's" greeting that you always get when you enter the front door. Hope they do well. read more

First let me say....we love Moe's. This location is the the type that would make you not want to come back. We have been to this location on numerous occasions, always hoping that when we go back...things will be different. The tables are never wiped off in between customers. The 100 flavor Coke machine is always out of ice. Tonight was kids night. Music was way too loud and didn't suit the occasion. They were playing classic rock...on kids night! We watched the "dishwasher" guy grab all the trays from the return bin....and put them on the counter to be reused. AND THEY WERE NOT WIPED DOWN OR WASHED! He also is doing trash and then refilling the salsa...with the same apron on! I believe the next words out of my wife will be...."Cross this place off the list!!" ....and there it is! read more

This is very comparable to Chipotle. I had my first burrito from moe's and there are highs and medium lows. First off, they have a jr. size for people like me, health conscious or children. That's a plus. I decided to have the steak and it's definitely not as good as chipotle. BUT, it gets better. I got the following toppings: sauteed onions, peppers, mushrooms, cheese, sour cream, beans, rice and salsa. The mushrooms and salsa take the burrito to another level. Moe's has a very limited menu, and is a basic Tex Mex food. Not a big selection at all, but I enjoyed my meal. This place is just a couple notches above than Taco Bell. They do shout at you when you walk in the door "Welcome to Moe's" and it is actually funny to watch the people's reaction to this, so thank you for the free entertainment Moe's. I got three hard shell tacos with chicken. It can be inconsistent depending on how fresh the meat is. At least that is what I hear from other regulars, however I haven't had any issues but I do not venture off of the chicken. The tacos are large and can hold a decent amount of protein and toppings. I even had guacamole on the taco, and besides being sloppy, it was very tasty. My only criticism was that I cannot understand the methodology of the toppings order. The toppings were in this order, chicken, pico, lettuce, and guacamole. If I could construct this thing the guacamole should be on the shell itself (first). Apparently the designer of these tacos at Moe's did not have a degree in structural engineering. I also ordered chips and queso. They provide plenty of chips, and I wasn't sure if the girl behind the counter didn't care or not, but the bag contained the three tacos on the bottom, and she just poured the chips loosely into the bag. I thought this was very odd that they didn't have their own bag. The queso was like a liquid American cheese. Usually it is a cheddar cheese of some type. Unfortunately, I wasn't a big fan of this queso. Yes I would come back to Moe's, it is better than typical fast food. It is just that I need to be craving Tex Mex. read more

I have visited this location for years now and frequent many moes when I'm traveling for work. This is by far one of the best locations I have frequented. The portions of food are always large and the food is always fresh. The current staff they have in place are excellent. My friend got her order mixed up already before and when we went we were handed another girl's food. We found her in her car and gave her the correct food. Our food was mixed up again and we didn't get napkins or utensils. Once we got our food, we were both very disappointed. The salsa smelt and tasted off like it was definitely expired. My chips were stale. If you're looking for quality food, I wouldn't come here. It's not even gross/good like Taco Bell. It's just gross. The steak is not legit steak, it's like cafeteria meat. And don't get me started on the queso. The quac was watery but kinda bussin. If you ask me, Moes beats the pants off Chipotle each and every day. Their chips are the best and queso is out of this world. My go to has always been the fish taco. Be prepared to wait a few minutes because they always make your fish fresh. Totally worth it! I have recently discovered their nachos and it has been a life changing experience. I love moes, and do not think it is a bad place to go and eat. HOWEVER, RACHAEL the employee that works here had AWFUL customer service. Not everyone likes their job, however never should you let that affect how you treat customers. She was miserable, and awful at her job. Horrible employee to have around serving customers. A employer is only as good as his weakest link, and this girl was probably the worst person I have experienced. I have been here a couple times, one dine in and the other a coworker picked up. The other day I decided to stop by to get some food for my friends and I. I ordered a head and had it set to be picked up by 5:30. I got there a few minutes early as I work down the road. I did what the sign said which was to call and let them know you were there. A girl picked and said it would be out shortly. 25 minutes pass and nothing. No one came out to check up. I called again and she gave me a slight attitude saying "It isn't out because you have to call." Well...that is why I am on the phone with you...again. She then flipped it and said their system shut down and that my order wasn't there..then it was suddenly. Pretty sure the system didn't shut down because I saw people going in and out no problem... she didn't seem sorry, just annoyed. I never write bad reviews but I have worked in customer service since I was 17.... she could have been more apologetic or offered SOMETHING. Come to this place it is amazing.It has REALLY GOOD FOOD. It has lots of tvs that will entertain you.They have cassadias tacos and burritos and some nice beautiful chips drinks and cookies. I Almost never write reviews but I felt like this one should be written ....I've been at this moes location everyday for the past 4 day's straight lol (don't judge me ) The crew seemed so happy and upbeat ! Very good customer service ! I don't know if it's the nice weather outside or maybe the virus canceling out the young workers school days but my last 4 experiences were better than all my others combined ! The crew worked together to tackle the extremely busy dinner rushes I was part of the first two days . They all looked around the same age but one of them must be higher in position since she was the one guiding everyone they all listened and followed what she suggested and it only made the line move quicker and more efficiently! It was just so cool to see young leadership and great team work with smiles genuinely enjoying their jobs !!! read more

While the menu is kind of limited to Mexican type foods you should be able to find something. I chose the Quesadilla which I thought turned out excellent, it was large, and I liked that you got to choose what goes into your food (like Subway). Friendly service in a relatively clean environment. This is fast-food Mexican style food that is two steps above Taco Bell. Chipotle could arguably be a bit better than Moe's but Moe's service is faster, specials are superior and the employees are more friendly. I've been here a few times. You're always welcomed as you walk in the door. They are reasonably priced. They have a lot of options and will answer any questions you have. The food is always fresh. Always friendly and delicious. The manager Anthony is super nice. Great customer service. I've been here over a dozen times over the years. One time my takeout order was missing something and I called when I got home. Anthony was very apologetic and made sure next time I went back my meal was on the house. I appreciated that so much because you don't always experience such great service many places anymore. I wanted to grab a quick dinner, and I was in the mood for the flavors of Mexico. I thought "maybe I'll go to Chipotle" and on my way there, I remembered that a friend had recommended Moe's. As soon as I saw their much larger, and much more appealing menu, I knew I made the right call. The options! Taco bowls! Chopped cilantro! Guacamole included in the price! Salsa bar! Good Queso! I got myself one of their bowls, and had the woman put it in a taco bowl. Got some of the queso for dipping. All of my food was delicious, and exactly what I wanted. The employees were cheerful, helpful, and friendly. I guess it could have been cleaner, but they were also quite busy. 5/5, loved it, will absolutely return, and will be taking all of my Chipotle business to Moe's. This is also a very vegetarian friendly restaurant. Or really, almost any diet restrictions. Definitely recommend. You really can't beat it if you're looking for a quick, and reasonably priced dinner. read more

Ate here after class with my brother. We both ordered burritos which were quite large and also rather cheap. The burrito tasted great and did indeed fill me up. However ,I still prefer Chipotle's burritos and food over Moe's. Overall, Moe's is a good place to stop for a quick bite to eat. Was a good experience.
