Dr. Khan is amazing and beyond professional. I'm so happy my primary care doctor referred me to him! Highly highly recommend!

The people inside the office are nice but receptionist shouldn't be in a customer service position.

I have to say this has to be the most incompetent front office I have ever dealt with in my life…read more I'm constantly calling asking about medication wondering where it's at pre-authorizations etc. Why am I doing your job for you? It's becoming so frustrating that I want to look for a different Neurologist. The doctor seems great even though I've only seen him once. He wanted to completely revamp all of my medication's not really sure why. And all the medications that were recommended were extremely expensive and barely covered by my insurance. Let's just say this hasn't been the most pleasant experience.

Please stay away from this office and find another neurologist. He diagnosed me with Alzheimers…read moreafter a blood test showed I carried a genetic marker, but was negative for the disease. He had given me a test on an old CRT monitor and a mouse that didn't click properly, so of course I didn't do well. He walked in and said bluntly, you have alzheimers, do you want oral or infusion medication. I was in shock! He then proceeded to call in about 5 RXs. I was speechless. I made my husband go back with me for a second appointment. We asked what this diagnosis meant. He said someone will be wiping your ass in 5 to 25 years!! Horrible! I went to another doctor who reviewed the tests and had me do a cognitive assessment which I scored above average on. She said that she did not believe I had alzheimers even with the Pet scan and bloodwork. She explained that it means I could get the disease, but it doesn't mean I had it. She referred me to a university neurological center, which can take months to get into, but felt I was pre-clinical. Besides bring cruel and unkind, Kan wanted me to start treatment for something I may never need. He put me through a month of hell thinking I had alzheimer's until I could get in to see the other neurological doctor in a renown clinic. Please find someone else.

He wouldn't touch it. I went to a surgeon by the name of Dr. Mark Garret. He reviewed my MRI very carefully and confidently said he'do it. It needed to be done really son because I was ending up in the ER with pain 3 times a week. I liked Dr Garret's style. Direct but not intimidating. Explained the surgery very logically so that I could easily understand. He got me in within a few days. When they were wheeling me to the operating room, I stopped at his desk. He was looking at my imaages. He looked up at me and said " ya know Jim, I think we should do a double fusion" instead of single that was planned. Normally That might scare a patient . But he had gained my confidence, and I said to myself " cool ". The surgery went as planned. Probably the longest surgery of the 3 spinal surgeries I had. The recovery from the surgery went well, exccept I stated having problems with pain in my feet. No way to know if it was related to the surgery, but it's possible. To his credit Dr Garret continued to work with me for another 6 months trying to figure out my foot problem. He found nothing and finally told me that there's nothing else surgical that he could do. That's when he passed me to Dr " cut Throat. The only reason I did not give Dr Garret a "5" rating. That's where it gets ugly. But that's for a whole different review.

She is not fit to be in that job; she is curt, has no phone manners, poor listening skills, nor understand customer service. It was a simple scheduling request and this girl would rather go on and on about something she does not even have an idea yet of what I was trying to schedule because she would not listen! She talked over what I was trying to get her to hear so I just shut up. I had to ask her if she was done talking and if she can now listen to me. AVOID HER! She is a nightmare to talk to.

First it was a bunch of rescheduling appointments for 3 months past when my appointment was supposed to be, then it was canceling appointments and provider changes after being told that switching to a new provider wouldn't occur during their transition period. It's hard to call and get ahold of staff in the office. They wait til less than 48 hrs to cancel or change appointments and it's just ridiculous. As someone with anxiety it truly sucks. Staff just tries to blame providers saying their schedules change but it seems like the schedules should know the schedules.

It takes over 5 weeks to get an appointment, then it will only be a consultation, even if you have a referral for exactly what you need done. After the consultation it will take another 5-6 weeks for an appointment. There's a good chance they are going to cancel on you as well (as they did me). Instead of doing the right thing, and trying to fit you in as soon as possible, you just go to the back of the line in priority and have to wait another 5-6 weeks for an appointment. Here's the kicker, during this entire process, prepare to be shown absolutely ZERO empathy from the person on the other end of the line. Take it one further, not only no empathy but they are blatantly rude to you. It's a shame that these people have either never been in a situation where their health depends on receiving proper care, or they have already forgotten what it feels like to receive care urgently and be respected in the process. Here's a list of Neurologists in the East Valley that all have better reviews than this place.
