We have been here a few times with family to bowl. The guy at the front counter is always rude. Today when checking in, he made it very clear that my 3 yr olds happy meal was not allowed. I acknowledged and proceeded to pay for our lane. He came by again within 5 min to let our whole party know, again, that no outside food or beverage was allowed. (We heard the message loud and clear the first time.) The happy meal was still sealed and never touched. I got up instantly to throw it away in front of my son to adhere to thier policy. He cried, but thankfully we were spared a third reminder. I felt like this was very unprofessional and extremely rude. We spent over $200 while we were there. I will not be going back. read more

Here is my 2cents, my opinion, my honest take. This is the worst run place on the planet. DO NOT base any decisions on prior reviews as I suspect, and this is my opinion, the majority are fictional, fake, made up, bogus. First the place is nasty, if I were to cut myself or my kid was to scrape a knee I would be worried about a serious infection. Next Webster is not the best place to visit, I have always found it to be quite questionable. Prices are extremely high when compared to bowling alleys. In short if you have options exercise them, if you dont, order take out and STAY HOME. We had a lot of fun there. We did candle pin bc my son is 9 and it's easier for him to do. Our local place in Worcester shut down. We made a reservation online. Super easy. They showed us to our lane. Plenty of people there. Fun music. Screens to view your scores. We didn't order any food but most people there did. Looked decent for a bowling alley. It's a bowling alley so base your expectations on that and it's in Webster. This is a different audience than a Kings near Boston would bring in. If you want to have a good time with friends and family with snacks (they also have alcohol too) and availability to reserve a lane this is a great spot. Showed up and made a reservation and they told us it would be 30 minutes. We played laser tag and waited the 30 minutes and when we went to the front desk they proceeded to tell us sorry we have to wait another 45 minutes and then told the costumer after us an hour. I had been told about Mohegan Bowl in Webster, MA about 3 months ago, and this past Thursday decided to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised at the fun time we had, and we definitely plan on adding this to our list of favorites for places to go with our kids. They had an arcade that was much bigger than we expected. They offer regular bowling or candlepin. Although we didn't have food, they did serve food, as well as alcohol. There was a room right next to the lane we bowled in that also offered laser tag. One feature at this bowling alley that my fiancé and I thought was really cool was that the bumpers could be set for each bowler. So when we bowled the bumpers stayed down, but then automatically came up when it was our sons turn to bowl. We hadn't seen that before. There was definitely a pro and con to the arcade (the con being the ONLY reason why I didn't give them a 5 star review). The arcade had a great assortment for kids in terms of games to play and prizes. But the amount of points needed for each one averaged about 7 points. Most were 8. This made it VERY easy to spend $50 in the arcade in the blink of an eye. However, the amount of points needed to win some really awesome prizes was much less than Chuck E Cheese. My son brought home a basketball, amount other things, with just a little over 1000 points. I think a basketball at Chuck E Cheese is 3000-4000 points. While my son was deciding what to spend his points on, a very kind gentleman behind me asked if he liked Pikachu. I told him YES! He had the girl scan his card and kindly had her give my son this GIGANTIC PIKACHU that was 7,500 points. My son was in Heaven. We go bowling here frequently. Kids always have a great time. The arcade is an absolute rip off, for $15.00 on the arcade card. You'll get to play maybe 4 games and that's it. I have no complaints about bowling. Although I will say I wish they had more seating in the bowling area. The Seating arrangements is pretty odd here. My number one complaint is the kitchen workers. Specifically this one girl. Brown or blondish hair. She absolutely hates her job and takes it out on the customers. Every time we get food or soda this girl has a terrible attitude. She'll roll her eyes at you, talk back to you, very snarky. Don't think she only does this to adults. Oh no no! She even gives kids the same nasty disgusting attitude! This chick has to go! My daughter came back to me after getting a soda in tears because of this worker. I'll make sure to get ahold of the owners to file a complaint. read more

We had a corporate event at the Casino and wanted a place to go in advance to get our bowl on and some lunch. 10 pin and candlepin lanes, beer and canned alcohol, in-house pizza and yummy wings (and more!). This is exactly what you are looking for when you are thinking of bowling and beers. Very family friendly, clean (including bathrooms), on-the-spot staff that wants you to enjoy yourselves. Took my daughter and stepson here today. It's the first time I've been here in about ten years. This is not the tired old place I remember. The remodel was money well spent. This was the first bowling experience for my five year old. The small ball was a great first experience for her. We had a Groupon that provided two hours of fun. Balls rolling off the bumper, some almost dropped on my foot. She must have had a good time, because we hadn't left the parking lot when she asked when we would be returning. This place is older than the hills. I'm 31 and have always loved this place and bring my daughter now. Pricing seems alittle higher than other small ball bowling,but can't beat the memories I had growing up there and hope my daughter can experience that family time I use to with my parents. Downside though it is in desperate need of a remodel I wouldn't want them to change the look just freshen it up a bit. The game room is ok for a small pass time. Oh and the bowling shoes might be as old as the building it probably wouldn't hurt to invest in new ones. read more

Alley has both candelpin and regular bowling. You can choose automatic settings for bumpers. They have a reasonably priced lazer tag, arcade and their skill cranes actually work! My kids have fun every time we go. Also very reasonably priced! Great atmosphere. read more

I had birthday parties here as a kid. Candlepin bowling is awesome and there aren't many places to do it. This place is a landmark attached to a landmark restaurant, so it'll probably be there for good. It's inexpensive and relatively clean... be sure to bring someone who knows how to score candlepin, and don't expect it to be easier than "ten pin" bowling just because things are smaller. read more

The kids love coming here. It is small ball bowling, so easy for the little ones to hold the ball. The older reviews should be omitted as the place has been revamped. All new electronic scoring, TVs at the end if lanes. Glow bowling. Retractable bumpers for those who need it. All in all it is good family fun. They do a great job with birthday parties too. This place is great. Lots of fun. Our kids had a ball. The only issue is that at arrival it was very disorganized. They told us an estimated wait of 10 minutes and our wait approached an hour. It was really busy so the wait wasn't unreasonable but it would have been better to know in the beginning The score keeping is electronic. And the bumpers can be set for kids only on their turns automatically. All of which makes family play super convenient. Just visited the Mohegan Bowl this evening for the very first time. I can't bowl because of a shoulder injury but enjoyed everyone else having fun. They have 6 new 10 pin lanes which were excellent. Did have a fantastic time in the new Laser Tag room - very state of the art, great guides and clean - really clean. Restrooms were clean, had a frosty - very reasonable beer prices - pizza was thin crust and flavorful. People were super friendly - the owner is Ed and took time to show me the place. I went in a few weeks ago to book a party. I saw one of the party rooms and told the girl it was too small. She said they had bigger rooms but I couldn't see them because they were being updated. I was told they could decorate with the specific colors I wanted and all would be great. I booked the party 3:15-5:15 and was told to arrive at 3pm. I called them a week before to confirm all and then 3 days before (Thurs). They said all was set & ready to go. When I arrived on Sunday, nothing had been done. I was taken to the same small room and was told they didn't have white, black, blue, yellow or purple decorations. I was upset! NONE of my colors were available!!! Why was I not told!?! I could have easily bought those and taken them!!! They had to scramble to get a bigger room and there I was running back and forth from 1 side of the building to the other, carrying gifts and decorations, party favors, etc, while my guests were standing around awkwardly. They somehow found yellow balloons and white table covers so that had to do. Then came time to order the pizzas; I was told their ingredients, besides cheese, were: pepperoni, buffalo or BBQ chicken and sausage. That's it! Not one veggie or non-meat. My daughter's favorite is Hawaiian but I had to go with what they had. It would have been nice to know or it would be nice if they allowed outside food but they do NOT. When I realized their large pizzas weren't really "large", I went to order more, but, they no longer had pepperoni! The woman said they "had to use it on my other pizzas". At this point I was so frustrated but kept my cool because I had guests and had no time to sit there and argue. I just ordered what they had. The party ran very behind too and ended much later because of all of this. The only good thing is that the kids had fun (1 star for that) and our hostess Jenny was super sweet (1 star for her). We just had a large party(30+) here for our son and it went perfectly! They delivered on everything they promised. We didn't have any issues what so ever! No hidden fees and they gave us plenty of boxes to bring home our left overs. We had four lanes running nonstop only one hiccup that was quickly resolved. The staff was uber helpful! And I have to say the food(pizza,wings,&salad) was good if not great and fresh!! Our guests were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and atmosphere alike! Not sure what happened to others who had a lesser experience, we were able to order all kinds of pizza including Hawaiian! And the electronic scoring and player tracking was great, a little hard to get started but seamless once we got going! Several of us will be back no doubt! read more

Had my kids birthday party here and it was okay. Our hostess wasn't that great. She wouldn't allow us to type in the children's names in the machines which is weird. I mean really, we aren't going to break it. Also, when we were eating the pizzas we had about a pizza and half left over and she throws the boxes on the floor...I guess they don't want us taking them home. I had called ahead to ask questions about reserving 2 lanes for 1 hour and they said they couldn't reserve it was first come first serve so that was fine but when we arrived we had questions about the bowling as we had only been once for a bday party before! The cashier was not helpful at all was very rude and un organized. We were getting pizza and soda as that was part of the deal and wanted to add another pizza was told we had to order seperatly ok no problem. After moving to the kitchen side the man that was working over their again was very rude there was a young lady but we did not speak with her. Food came out at all different times our french fries came out 10min after we had got the pizza and both tables were taken at the end of our lane mind you we had 2 lanes we should have been allowed 1 table. So 3 large pizzas French fries and 2 pitchers of soda took up the space we had no whear for the kids to eat!!. Was very unorganized! The only credit I will give this place is the arcade prizes are not high amounts in tickets so your child can actually get something decent for a fair price!. The lady's working the prizes were very nice and had patience but I can not say that for the 2 male employees I mentioned earlier.
