Bayberry is a pretty nice place to kill an hour or two with some gutter-balling. The place is well lit and the music is set at just the right volume to be an enjoyable background. The lanes are in good condition and it's an affordable place to visit. There are pool tables as well, if that's your thing. The small arcade at the front entrance can kill some time and is a great distraction for younger kiddos. There isn't much of a food service, so you've got what the soda machines against the back wall will provide for you. The staff is friendly, and there is a 4% discount for paying with cash. read more

I made a pitstop at Bayberry Bowling Center to try candlepin for the first time ever - and I picked the worst time. I got there with less than 45 minutes before a league was about to start! But the staff was super nice and still let me have a lane - they never rushed me, even though I knew the league was coming and the lanes had already started filling up with folks. The people who were assigned to my lane never rushed me either! I ended up fitting in 2 whole games before I left (again, no one asked me to leave, even though I was on someone's assigned lanes, and there were maybe 10 minutes before league starting). What a fun experience, and everyone was so nice. It's a pity I don't live closer - but I'd definitely go again the next time I drive through. Everything seemed well maintained and very clean. We recently had a dual birthday party for our two boys. We had a total of 10 people with us. We did the birthday party/party package. 1 hour with rental of tables for the party. It gave us pretty much just enough time to play 2 strings. Theay was $190.00 for this package. There was also $10.00 in coins for the kids to play cluded in the package for the arcade area. They supplied plates, forks and table cloth. It was your typical bowling lanes. They had arcades there too so there was more things to do there. The ravage gave out many tickets which was nice! The place was how I remember bowling lanes, lol, long outdated but fun. They had old score tables but they did keep track for you. It was a nice feature because I don't remember having that when I bowled 25-ish years ago. They do make pizzas there and have some snacks but there was something wrong with their oven so we ordered from the pizza place next door. They had soda vending machines and for adults it appeared they had some choices for alcoholic beverages. The parking was decent. Easy in and out. The place was busy mid afternoon. We had a great time. The employees were kind and polite and very helpful. My only complaint is that the bathrooms were filthy. We would definitely come back to bowl again. read more

Went candlepin bowling after a 10+ year break. Went for physical therapy aspect to coincide with exercise for rotator cuff recovery. My score was bad, but who cares. I was there for fun and therapy. Bayberry's staff is polite and helpful, and they don't rush you to finish playing your strings. Price was surprisingly affordable. I will become a regular now (with my wife). read more

Great family bowling....candlepin, or "small balls" lets the little ones have fun. Dont be fooled though, if your used to 10 pin this can be challenging! They also serve beer and wine and have a small arcade to keep the kids busy. The place is clean with around 15 lanes. They do run leagues, which can make it busy some nights (Thursdays recently). Very well managed and well taken care of bowling alley. Lots of nice pool tables and a nice size game room. They have bowling accessories for sale on site, which seems to be rare nowadays. We decided to try something new to keep our 3 year old entertained. so we went bumper bowling. we went on a weekend night and to my son's delight, it was their cosmic bowling time. so they had black lights on, loud music and colored lights doing all sorts of things. we all had a great time. everything was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. read more

nice little bowling center, uses small balls so its great for kids, but also adults. scoring etc. is all automatic & you take 2 turns each before the next person plays. you pay for your shoes when you arrive, and pay for your bowling when finished.. they have family deals on certain days including pizza & such. large arcade room with some video games, skeeball, coin action games, and more. ticket counter machine to save for your next visit. large TV screen for viewing games or watever is going on on that particular day they also sell perfume and small novelties. read more
