This is a great addition to Bay Ridge. Ahmed and Dianna are the best; they remember regulars and are very friendly.

Finally, PB made it to this side of Bensonhurst!…read more If you've been to one of their franchise spot, then you probably have favorites and go-to items. I know I do. Coffee bun! We also love their soufflé cheesecake when we do splurge on dessert. It's kind of pricey. But worth it! I was a little disappointed with the blueberry yogurt cake - tasted stale (ugh), but the mochi donuts were yummy! This location is pretty new, less than 1 yr old. Right around the corner from Chipotle, on the 18th Avenue busy hub. Self service, tray, line with parchment, grab your goodies and pay. The staff are nice and friendly. Clean, roomy enough for customers to browse what they want but smaller than the location on 86th St. Although the price point is higher than your Asian bakery, the aesthetic and variety and taste makes it worth while. I'm a fan and be sure to join their loyalty program for treats!

**First Time Visit & Definitely Not the Last!**…read more I stopped by this location for the first time and loved the self-serve style of dining. Walking in, the space was clean with a calm, quiet ambience and light music playing in the background -- such a relaxing vibe. You're greeted right away, then directed to the plastic trays, a box of parchment paper what company will logo and your own single-use tongs. From there, you get to browse at your own pace through two beautiful display cases filled with beautiful desserts and cakes, and tarts. Also well as two fully stocked fridges filled with drinks, sandwiches, and salads (which looked SO fresh and delicious -- definitely trying those next time!). The two baristas working were incredibly friendly and engaging. They were knowledgeable about the drinks, happy to offer recommendations, and made the experience feel welcoming. They offer cakes, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate -- perfect for pairing with dessert. Now let's talk about the good part... the pastries I tried the jumbo twisted cinnamon donut, a croissant donut, and the chocolate supreme croissant. Every single one was fresh, flavorful, soft on the inside with the perfect crunch on the outside. The flavors were absolutely mouthwatering. The prices were exactly what I expected but I enjoyed the quality and overall it was such an enjoyable dessert experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for a sweet treat in a cozy, inviting spot. To catch up with friends, read, or study. I'll definitely be back!

The narrow storefront entrance is subtle at best, with dark windows and dim lighting. You might hesitate to pull on the door and, upon discovering it is in fact open, can't help but feel like they weren't prepared to open just yet. Being inside is no more inviting than outside. It's incredibly dark and quiet. I'm trying to recall music, but can't honestly say anything was setting a tone for this potentially charming shop. The reason I didn't hesitate to open the door was because of this pair of outdoor seats next to the front door, which I can at best describe as cozy. This cafe has a modest but high-quality RTD case, with fresh sandwiches and quick bites, and their pastries are a work of art, aesthetically speaking. And despite a rather unwelcoming storefront, the staff is warm, patient, and incredibly pleasant. I was excited to try their cold brew coffee, but they don't produce it regularly. The baristas didn't seem to know if and when they'd be carrying it again. A bit odd for a no-frills coffee shop, but I wasn't leaving empty-handed. I took the next best thing and requested an iced coffee, but was confused when I was given an iced Americano. I can deal without the cold brew coffee, settling for a rich, full-bodied iced coffee. Their roast is super earthy and hits just right for a particular coffee lover like me. But we're talking three different brewing methods, creating three entirely different tastes. It was strange that my request wasn't explained to me, as the barista proceeded to make an iced Americano, leaving me both disappointed and frustrated, regardless of whether or not this particular coffee was good. That's not what I asked for. This entire experience left me flummoxed at best. From the visually awkward welcome to the limited coffee-style options, I can only describe my experience as disappointing. I've had their cold brew before, and it was perfection. But to not have iced coffee, especially when I've already been forced to settle, is inexcusable. With all that being said, I'm hopeful and plan on returning. For me, if you have good coffee, the lights, music, and even baristas are complimentary. We will put up with anything for quality. It's the ultimate elixir. However, I expect a bake house and coffee shop to have the bare minimum. The iced Americano was delicious. The shot was perfectly pulled and had the perfect espresso-to-water ratio. But that's neither what I wanted nor what I expected. So, who cares?

I was pleasantly surprised by how rich and nutty all the black sesame flavors were, and that's high praise coming from me because I grew up eating a lot of black sesame desserts in Asia. *Black Sesame Mochi Cake $18.99 I got this mini whole cake for my birthday. Perfect size for a small household (around 3 to 4 slices). I just wish the chiffon had a stronger black sesame flavor, and I would've loved even more mochi and black sesame lava inside. *Black Sesame Puff Square $6.95 HUGE and such a good value for the size. It's a croissant cube with black sesame butter swirled all throughout the loaf. The inside pulled apart easily like fluffy milk bread, while the outside stayed crispy and buttery like a croissant. I could not stop tearing off piece after piece. *Black Sesame Latte $6.99 The black sesame latte was SO GOOD I got it twice in one week. It had this super nutty black sesame cream foam over a black sesame milk base, and I could actually taste both the rich sesame flavor and the coffee.

I ordered the orange, mango and mushroom suisse. There was a bit of a wait for the orders but it wasn't too bad. The cakes were secure in mini boxes and everything was packed into a nice paper tote bag for take out. The desserts were very delicate upon first glance but also easy to break apart (so things got a bit messy). The orange dessert had a more mellow and lighter flavor compared to the mango one. It had a orange mandarin jam center covered with a vanilla cream layer. I didn't really care too much for the chocolate rice crisp bottom layer. The leaves were maybe peppermint though if it was mint then that would make the whole dish edible. The mango dessert was sweeter than the orange one. The mango jam filling was sweet and had a few pieces of mango that were a bit sour but didn't take away from the overall sweet mango flavor. The cream covering the jam must've also been mango flavored. I really liked the mushroom suisse! I reheated it in the microwave for a bit before eating it. I loved the crispy exterior as it contrasted well with the softness of the puff pastry middle. The mushroom filling was also tasty as it reminded me a bit of cream of mushroom soup. I'll be giving their other savory pastries a try during my next visit. FYI, if posting on socials for the complimentary pastry, do so before ordering.

I am a fan of the pandan flavor desserts and bought two that I wanted to try. One being a roll cake and the other layer cake. The pandan roll cake with taro I was told is a specialty that they only have on weekends. It was really flavorful, moist and spongy, just perfectly touched with a dash of sweetness in both the cake and the cream - I personally don't like overly sweet foods, and this is just perfect for me and my mom. I'm equally pleased with the layer cake as well it was very fresh and have that "QQ" texture - deliciously chewy and bouncy. This too, just hit right for me on the gentle sweetness, the pandan flavor keeping the spotlight in this dessert. My mom and I are big fans of these desserts. We just came back trying out others pandan layer cakes in Downtown Flushing and this shop beats them by a large margin. I hope to come back more when we could even though this shop is quite a distance for us.

I knew I would be there at a certain time so I placed an online order for three sea salt coffees. I made sure they would be ready at a certain time that the app let me set. Also to note I've been here a few times and it's a very typical 85° which has a few tables to sit at and definitely keeps it very basic and bakery feeling. I get there about a half hour later and my coffee is not ready yet even though it was supposed to be ready 2 minutes before. I stood there for a while and finally someone came up to the coffee counter and asked if I needed anything. I said I was simply just waiting for my online order that I placed over a half hour ago. He went over to his computer and printed it out and got started on it but doesn't really give me a lot of confidence in placing online orders in the future. The worker did apologize and I appreciate that so four stars for now. As I was leaving, a lady who was also waiting for her coffee noted that she did the same thing and apparently they don't have all of their ducks in a row yet.
