    Adeni chai.

It pleases me to no end that Qahwah House is popping up everywhere. I've been a loyal fan since Williamsburg was their only NYC location, but now they've spread across the boroughs, and Bay Ridge is the closest one yet. I'm obsessed with their strong, flavorful Adeni chai (which you can get hot or cold) and khaliat alnahl. I love a good late night cafe, and this location also has a good amount of seating. Even on a Friday night around 8:30-9, I didn't have to run for a table, feeling like I had to fight to the death to claim it... which was sometimes the case in Williamsburg. They have free water and a decently clean bathroom as well. All these Yemeni cafes are giving me life. This is the kind of trendy takeover I want to see.

My friend and I came in after dinner for some tea and dessert. She has been before and we ordered her favorites - Adeni chai small pot and khaliat alnahl and they did not disappoint. The Adeni chai we ordered with less sugar and it was perfect and the khaliat alnahl was sweet and savory, my favorite kinds of dessert. The dessert was easily pulled apart without needing a knife and the cheese in each honeycomb pocket was chefs kiss! Even at 8-9pm the cafe was popping and pretty loud, getting steadily louder as the night went on as more people came in. I love how they provide you with the WiFi at the register and we saw a couple of people on their computers. I would 100% come back and study here during the day with a cup of chai and dessert. There is a lot of seating here which was great so we didn't feel pressured to leave and continued to chat and catch up until 11pm.

I came here yesterday and I loved it. First the staff is super friendly and very welcoming. Their bathroom is clean and I recommend it. I went with a couple of other people and the guy raves about their coffee. I ordered a brown sugar latte which was very good. It had the right balance of sweetness and I also liked that it was the right temperature. I also ordered another pastry which was quite good. This was a great experience and I would definitely come again.

What a nice place with excellent coffee and desserts. Spacious and I especially like their comfortable chairs vs other cafes with plastic seating. They are right on the corner of 3rd Ave. and they 6th St. in Brooklyn. I tried their honey dessert (on the coffee menu) and it was delicious.

Premium quality coffee Excelent sevice Ambiance of comfort))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

As a coffee lover, I can say this latte definitely did not disappoint! The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was really inviting. It's a small coffee shop with some outdoor seating, which adds to its charm. Inside, they offer pastries from bakeries like Balthazar, and they even have a cool cold brew machine. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town, and since my sister and her partner are locals, I know they'll keep coming here too!

I think I found the best coffee in Bay Ridge!…read more You have to understand my morning. I live in Stony Brook so when the stars are aligned and there is no traffic on the Belt I can order a great cuppa coffee before work. I park across the street and was the first one in the small establishment. I see two gents hustling behind the counter and zero in on the baked goods. I'm not understanding the spiced lattes but after a few times, I'll try the Cardamom latte but for now I'm sticking with a Flat White and a freshly baked croissant. The flat white I ordered? Perfecto. If a good cup of coffee costs the same as a chain coffee slop they serve to the masses, I'll take a well crafted coffee from Clockface Coffee to start my day. Hopefully, if the traffic is light on the Belt Parkway, I can stop by in the morning. I grew up in Canarsie but all the great local places I keep finding by the job, Bay Ridge rocks!

It looks like this is a brand-new place on Grubhub. I'm…read morealways willing to support a local small business, but I also leave honest reviews so other customers know what to expect. I ordered avocado toast with eggs and a pastry. The only real positive was the bread itself, which was fresh, large, and actually tasted good. Unfortunately, that is where the positives ended. Although the avocado seemed less generic than standard store-bought guacamole, the taste was not good. The eggs were terrible -- they looked very unappetizing, tasted awful, and appeared nothing like the photo shown on Grubhub. The same photo also showed a small side salad, but no salad was included. I requested chili oil, and that was missing as well. The added cheese had virtually no flavor, so overall the dish felt careless, incomplete, and extremely unsatisfactory. I also checked the box requesting utensils, but no utensils or napkins were included. However, to be clear, this review is not about forgotten utensils. It is about the overall lack of quality, attention to detail, and customer care. The pastry was another culinary failure. It was sold under the French name -"Pan Au Raisin" but it was nothing like what real "Pain Aux Raisins " supposed to be, it was bland, greasy, oily and missing the traditional custard base plus it was delivered in an undersized paper envelope that left the food exposed, a clear violation of basic sanitary standards for food transport. Most importantly, this order caused me stomach pain and GI upset. This was the only food I had eaten in a 24-hour period, and more than 24 hours later I still felt unwell. The owner's reply to my original review was patronizing, dismissive, and refused to take any real accountability. Instead of addressing the food quality issues, the missing items, the poor packaging, and the physical reaction I had to the order, the response tried to reduce the entire problem to utensils and push the conversation into private email. I am keeping this public so other customers can make an informed decision. I wanted to support a new local business, but the bad taste, poor execution, misleading presentation, lack of care, and dismissive management made that impossible. Based on this experience, I would not order again and would not recommend this place to friends or family.
