When we got to the window we were greeted with the sweetest barista who was happy to help and a gem to talk to. We ordered the Ember Latte with Oat Milk, the Fireside Latte with Skim Milk, Blueberry Scone, and Oatmeal. Yum! Everything was delicious and even better that everything was homemade. The Ember Latte was the perfect balance, not too spicy and not too sweet, and the Fireside Latte was very flavorful and prepped perfectly. My dad who is not a fan of blueberry was beyond thrilled with the scone. This is a definite stop when you're in Salina!

We wandered into the shop, and the first thing that struck me was the delicious smell. They make their own waffle cones here, as well as stroopwafels and sundae bowls. I got a kid-sized scoop of banana cream pie ice cream. Like I said, I don't like ice cream, but I love banana cream pie, so if you put it in ice cream, I will order it and love it. The banana cream pie ice cream at Indigo Moo'd is amazing. My only regret is that I wish I would have ordered a bigger size. They have a lot of the classic flavors, but also flavors like salted caramel, kringler, lingonberry, coffee and others. All of the ice cream is made in-house, and you can tell because it's fresh and creamy. The ice cream parlor itself is located in a cute space that looks like the outside of a town square (but it's indoors), if that makes sense. There are several tables in the shop, so you can stay a while and enjoy your ice cream there. My friends and I got our ice cream to go and ate it while waking around downtown Lindsborg.

I did a large mobile order to head on a trip and they kindly told us to pull around and that they'd bring it around. After noticing that I forgot a drink, I placed another order. I had hubby run in and they apologized for forgetting the drink (that I thought I didn't order) and refunded it since I had ordered a new one. I really do appreciate how they go above and beyond here. Once I had hubby pick up an order and they handed him one and he drove off, they offered to make a new one and could get it later or the next day. The few times I've been inside, the atmosphere has just been so nice and the team is always doing a great job at getting things done especially in rush hours.
