This is the second time I used Molina Carpets. The first time service was a whole house carpet replacement. They came out quickly for a measurement and provided me a quote right after. The job was completed professionally and efficiently. The second time service is to replace a worn down carpet in a small room. Tom came out three times to get the best match of the color based on my request. He is very patient, professional and pays a lot of attention to details. The price is also very reasonable. We contracted with Molina Carpets, Inc of Garner NC mid January 2026 to install carpet upstairs and Marmoleum Cinch Loc Plank n the kitchen and downstairs. The company was great working with us by phone, email, and coming to the house to assess things for the project! After installation and payment, though, communications were slow and things weren't addressed to correct problems. Carpet has unlevel ragged seams, gouges, puckers, and missing padding. Downstairs planks squeak, snap, and sound hollow with ridges and cracks appearing right away and getting worse. Pictures and measurements shared with the manufacturer and Molina (who talked with them) determined that the sub floor is the reason for the floor failure. Manufacturer required guidelines stated on the store contract were not followed. The solution is to pull up the planks, flatten the concrete sub floor, and install new planks. Unfortunately, Molina wouldn't do that. Our 25 year manufacturer wear warranty is voided. We're upset asbestos tiles (tested positive) and vinyl sheet flooring to remain were pulled up - putting our health at risk. After four months of asking for things to be made right, we asked for a refund. A conditional refund offered would let Molina take the defective flooring and have us promise to not speak of our experience (see the CRFA at the FTC site about this). We feel that people should know about our experience. We can't stand walking on the floor and seeing it get worse and worse. We will have to go to a different company to get replacement flooring at our expense. We would not recommend Molina. read more

The saga of selling my Fletcher Park condo continued into 2021! I decided to update the carpets in the place and a quick online search turns up Molina Carpets with great reviews all around. I call them up and Peter comes out later that week with samples. He measures things up and shows me some options that are in-house for quick turnaround. A day later he sends me a couple of quotes with options on the padding so I mull things over. A week later, I decide to pull the trigger on the new carpets and the team at Molina works with me for a convenient installation date. While Home Depot needed 2 or 3 weeks to install, Molina was ready to go, stat! They bill me for half of it on Friday and then come in on Saturday for the install. The technician, Julian installs everything in 4 hours or so and it looks great. Very professional and the communications with the office was excellent. And very competitive prices to beat from a local business. So I can absolutely recommend Molina carpets for your future flooring work. They're responsive, communicate well and provide good value. We had to replace 20 year old berber carpet that was original to our house. With dogs, adults who refuse to take off their shoes indoors, and kids in college, the new carpet needed to be beautiful, tough and affordable. It also needed to be sold and installed by professionals with an eye on customer service. Enter Molina Carpets. Our experience from start to finish was truly five star. Peter brought samples to our house and measured. He is an easy-going guy with excellent listening skills. After hearing our long wish list, he encouraged us to visit to their Garner showroom for hundreds more options. We liked that they offered products made with the latest technology, to assure a high quality, long-lasting carpet made in America within eco-friendly parameters. Price was a big factor for us; while their stock carpets were tempting (so affordable and high quality), we wound up choosing a brand and style that met every criteria we had. Renee was great to work with on the ordering/paperwork/payment end. One of the most astonishing things was how fast the carpet came in...just a few days! And we had the option to install the day after that. On install day, the crew of three showed up exactly on time in a well-maintained truck. They were courteous, neat, very hard-working, and respectful of our property. We asked each how long they had been doing carpet; they answered one, 15 and 20 years respectively, and the experience showed. The team was a well-oiled machine and efficiently knocked out furniture moves, tear outs, and installs for three bedrooms, a bonus, and stairs in just under five hours. It was very obvious this team knew what they were doing. Our carpet has a pronounced narrow linear pattern in two colors and now that it has been installed, all the lines are poker straight. Perhaps most impressive was how they made decisions about cut, direction, and seams. In every room, the carpet was put down to minimize seams. Only one closet seam was needed despite seven closets/extensions, and even that was done inside the closet (not at the door). In the two large rooms, seams were placed far from traffic areas. And all seams were cut to a specific row of fibers, so that the two-tone pattern is not disturbed by two edges of the same color being blunted together. As such, the seams are absolutely invisible. On the stairs, we wanted carpet only on the treads. That involved a lot of cutting and perfect edges on four sides times 14 steps with no room for errors. The stairs came out beautifully! Right before the crew left, the stair guy explained to me the importance of never pulling an edge fiber -- instead I should cut it. I knew this, having had berber and learning the hard way with kids, but he was so considerate to have mentioned it. Not that there are any loose fibers...anywhere...and we looked. We are also delighted that our warranty is amazing and that Molina Carpets stands behind their products and installation. We are 50-somethings who largely believe old-school professionalism and customer service are dead. Our entire experience with Molina Carpets has been amazing and soundly uprooted our jadedness. A++. After visiting the big box stores looking for carpet we realized that free installation is not so free and they nickel and dime you at every turn. We visited Molina Carpets and had great and refreshing experience. We recently had a great experience with Molina Carpet. We only needed a set of stairs and one bedroom re-carpeted, but we needed it done in a short time and on a tight budget. I went to Molina Carpet with my room dimensions, but no idea what type of carpet to look at, as you know there are literally hundreds of choices. Renee not only picked out the best carpet, she also suggested a color that was perfect. She let me take home samples, and her choice was spot on. Exactly what I was looking for! We used Molina Floors to replace carpet in our house and they were great. Renee was very knowledgable and spent a great amount of time showing us all her flooring samples. She was also very available whenever we had a question and followed up with all work being done. I highly recommend using Molina floors over Home Depot or Lowes. We had carpet in our two story home installed over the weekend, yes they came on a Saturday! My husband and I were very impressed with this company from start to finish! When we initially contacted Molina for samples and an estimate the owner Renee came to our home the next day. She was very helpful and measured our home very quickly and was very knowledgeable. She brought samples and when I wasn't sure about the ones she brought she was so kind as to bring different ones the very next day. When we decided on a carpet it was less than a week that we were able to get an appointment for installation. The installers exceeded our expectations. They did a very thorough job and were very cautious of our walls and baseboards. We could not speak highly enough of the installers that they sent and you would not even know that they had been here they were so clean afterwards. Impressed!! Getting ready to put house on market and needed to replace all carpets in the home. Great reviews on Yelp so I reached out to them for an estimate. Cathy is your 1st window into what to expect with this company - I have told her I am going to call her anytime I am having a down day because she instantly cheers you up (and everyone knows that moving is stressful so a little brightness in this process goes a long way). Estimator came out to the house - bringing carpet samples and measuring tape - and says I should get an estimate within the next several days. Estimate arrives and is a great price. The carpet is in stock and I easily chose the day to get the carpets installed. Installers arrived a little early (yay!) and finished same day. They are professional, hard working and respectful of your home. Carpets were done same day and I had zero clean up as they did it all. The entire customer service experience has been amazing and I love my new carpets and I'm sure the new home owners will as well. Note: I mentioned that I also needed to refinish my wood floors so am looking for a really good price on carpets. Molina quoted what I wanted, but they also provided me with an option and carpet mfg that I hadnt considered. Renee was on top of checking with the mill, and communicating with me on the process all along the way, as we wanted to get the carpet in before we moved into our new home.
