We purchased our tickets in the magnificent gift shop & joined the 2:00 tour. Vivian guided a group of a dozen of us through the 1st & 2nd floor telling us about Molly Brown's family, home, her voyage on the Titanic & her philanthropic endeavors. The house was designed by architect William A. Lang in 1889 . The large Queen Anne style home was built for the Large family. After the repeal of the Sherman Silver Purchase Act in 1893, the Large family sold the house to the Browns in 1894 for US$30,000. The family traveled often & rented it out, it was once the governors mansion. In 1970, Historic Denver purchased & refurbished the house. In 1972, it was listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

A great historic museum showcases the famous Molly Brown, the history of Denver and the women's suffrage movement. Every holiday season, a holiday tea is put on. Tickets can be purchased online and since there are only a few dates for the tea, hop online to get your reservation. It is clear the museum staff takes great pride in keeping the unsinkable Molly Brown's history alive. After the tea, you get to take a self-guided tour around the house. Each room has a specific theme based on how the room was used when Brown resided here. The tea itself was nice. Served on the third floor of the house, there is one tea served- a blend of black and oolong- which happened to be one of Brown's favorites. Just a cube of sugar and a splash of cream is all you need. The tea is accompanied by some yummy nibbles too. The chicken salad tea sandwich was the clear winner. Thanks to the staff at the Molly Brown house for all their hard work to decorate the house for Christmas and putting on tea service. All year long they are the ones responsible for keeping Brown's legacy alive for future generations.

The Winter Tea at Molly Brown House was a great experience. The staff treated us really well and didn't rush us. With tea came the opportunity to do a self-guided tour of the house. We were served Molly's favorite tea, a blend of black and oolong teas. Molly has excellent taste! We were treated to an assortment of savory and sweet treats. The chicken salad sandwich was delicious, and the lemon curd was yum! The lemon bar on the dessert tray was also excellent. The Drawing Room had festive holiday decor, and a volunteer was available on the second floor for questions. Fun items were available on the Museum shop, and this is one area where restrooms are located, since there are none available in the house.

I like that this piece of history is being kept alive. It's amazing all of the things that Margaret ("Molly") was able to do in her life. Her kids, her sister's kids, voting rights, medical, business, travel, acting... I mean most people will never be able to stack up to Margaret! The museum is just this house so it doesn't take too long to go through it. She left this home and CO to go to the east coast but her cheating husband stayed. On special days they have tea in the attic with snacks for a price and then you can tour it in addition before/after your tea. You can also plan your own tea event if you have a minimum of 10 people (and up to 30 can fit in the room on the top floor). There is an app you can download but it only explains briefly a few things in each room. I think this is a great place for girls to go and learn about and be introduced to someone like Margaret who they can look up to. But I equally think for boys to learn that great accomplishments have also been achieved by women, we just don't hear about them as much. Kinda sad isn't it. Worth a visit if you haven't been. And there are several walking distance spots in the area for eats/drinks afterwards.

Beautiful museum steeped in so much history and charm. Amazing place to spend half a day reading about this amazing woman who survived a great tragedy and used her power and status to help less fortunate people and do amazing charitable and humanitarian work!

The house is nice, but Molly didn't live here long. The woman got lucky twice by getting off the Titantic and then finding gold to become rich.

What a great museum, our tour guide Anna was fabulous. Her high energy got us even more stoked and in the mood. It was pretty mind blowing to me that Margaret did so many other things in her life, and everyone of them were just as notable as her trip on the Titanic. Their gift shop has tons of well priced merch which makes it easy to buy a trinket or 6. I highly recommend this guided tour, just know it is HOT inside. Take a fan.

Really enjoyed my visit. The house is beautiful. So glad to have gone! Will visit again in the future.

This museum is PACKED full of history! We were there for just over two hours and didn't begin to read everything that is available. They ask that nothing be touched, but they do have boxes in almost every room with items that can be touched and cards with information (copies of letters, articles, etc.). It was interesting to find out that she wasn't called Molly until after she died (her name was Margaret, and that is what she used). The staff/volunteers who were there were extremely helpful and didn't come across as bored with saying the same things over and over again (as is the case at many historical sites). The ONLY downside that we found was that the ventilation in the house is lacking, so it got very stuffy. Definitely take a neck fan with you, or if you forget, the $1 cardboard fans for sale in the gift shop are better than nothing.

This was a very informative tour of Margaret "Molly" Brown. Info in her life from family moving from Ireland to the USA. The home has been beautifully restored back to the turn of the 20th century. Beautiful house to roam through. All proceeds support the house's ongoing restoration . Titanic enthusiasts.... Check it out ... suggestion to take the guided tour and check out the basement as well.

Had the time if our lives walking around and taking the guided tour here! It was so fascinating to see and hear all the stories of the history of not only her life, but the house it's self and everything that happened after she passed away. Our tour guide was the sweetest women and you can tell she really enjoys her job! Being in the service quarters and hall way definitely made me feel some type of way. Also seeing some of her orginal art and decor that was bought by her and her family is so surreal. I'm so glad we came! The prices in the souvenir store are kinda steep, but I can understand why!

If you're a history lover, I highly recommend planning an hour or two to visit the Molly Brown House Museum. Located near the Capitol Building, the house is one of the limited historical homes surviving in Downtown Denver's former Millionaire's Row. The home has been wonderfully preserved and featured a trove of Victorian era treasures (many of which were owned by Molly & JJ Brown) More importantly, the museum does a superb job of telling you the story of Molly and her family's lives. Prior to visiting, the only thing I knew about the amazing powerhouse of a woman was what I had seen in the Titantic movie. After leaving, however, I had a deeper appreciation who was SO MUCH MORE than one infamous journey by boat that she took. She was a fighter for women's rights and human right's in general. More people should know her story. Don't miss this gem in downtown Denver. PS - Keep your eyes and ears peeled for Ghost Kitty who supposedly haunts the second floor of the home.

We joined as members, which turned out to be a great value since the membership cost less than purchasing individual tickets and allowed us to return throughout the year. Some of the toddlers were especially excited to see The World's Largest Dinosaurs exhibit (a separate ticket is required), which explores the biology and amazing anatomy of sauropods, the largest land animals ever to walk the Earth. We also enjoyed Discovering Teen Rex, which featured interactive exhibits for the kids. The fossil preparation lab was on display as well, showcasing Triceratops and Edmontosaurus fossils along with the tools used by paleontologists. Both exhibits were listed as temporary. The biggest surprise was the Wildlife Halls on the second and third floors. These 90-plus wildlife and habitat dioramas are beautifully detailed, many featuring enormous and exotic animals within realistic ecosystem settings. Everyone was impressed by how clean and vibrant they looked, especially compared to the classic dioramas at the American Museum of Natural History, which we still greatly enjoy. The Discovery Zone on the second floor was the biggest hit with the children. Designed for kids up to age eight, it offers a variety of hands-on exhibits. From uncovering buried bones in the sand to designing custom bug badges and experimenting with the force of moving water, it was difficult to pull the kids away. Outside the museum, there are additional attractions including animal statues, a playground, and a splash fountain. The museum is located within the expansive Central Park area, providing plenty of room to explore before or after your visit. We found the Denver Museum of Nature & Science to be well worth the visit and highly recommend it for adults and children of all ages.

If you've seen one, you understand the basic experience, though to really get what's going on, you have to see them all and do a lot of wandering and research. Denver's Convergence Station is the largest of the Meow Wolf complexes (I think) at over 90K square feet. For timed entry and a drink, it cost over 60 dollars (flexible entry is more expensive). I actually had to go twice because I was so overwhelmed and missed a large portion of the venue, even staying like three hours. The art is awesome. Lots of mysteries. Phone booths where you can call multiple numbers and get various weird clues. A neon castle. Tunnels to crawl through. Lots of climbing up stairs too (they have elevators if needed). You can stop by a bar in the Japanese-inspired "city" to grab a regular or boozy drink to take around with you. Lots of places to explore. You can touch everything (make sure to sanitize after you leave). Multi-media and diverse textures everywhere. Bright lights. Weeeeiiiiirrrrddd stuff. Aliens. Monsters. And honestly, you have to see all the other Meow Wolfs to really get the big picture (but it doesn't hamper your enjoyment or delight if you haven't). It is said that they unveil a brand new theme each year and this year's theme appears to be focused on some Eastern cultures such as cherry blossom and bamboo forest with pandas. Not that I have been to many lights shows and yet I must say that I have never seen anything quite like this as far as my recollection is accurate. In its 12-acre land, the installations of lantern lights are everywhere. After 8:30pm or so when it's dark, the illuminations from the lanterns are glowing brighter than Las Vegas' illuminations (LOL - why am I comparing this to Las Vegas!!) According to the park's website, some of the sculptures are 23-foot tall (such as the cherry blossom gate.) It's currently open from Wednesday through Sunday until October 5th. And last night's was one of the adult-only nights where you must be 21+ to enter (I believe the next and last such night is Sept 17th. And this writing is as of late August of 2025.) I am already curious as to what the next year's theme is going to be. There is a centralized bar, some food vendors, a stage where a performer performs, and a DJ booth. Great for family time, girls' night or date night. Helpful staff were working tirelessly to assist all visitors. Although about 1,300 tickets were sold last night, it was never super jammed packed. There is still time to visit this enchanting light show. Not only for the locals but definitely one of the must-visit attractions for out-of-staters as well.

Every inch of the 12 acres had lights and even in the trees and bushes. So many details that it seemed realistic. Many of the lanterns were interactive such as stationary bikes or cranks to power the lights to glow even brighter. The staff were friendly and happy to help. This event is for young and old and I highly recommend going!

I came for candlelit yoga. Yoga itself was enjoyable. There was a gentleman playing live music and we were all encouraged to work at our own levels wherever that may be. The instructor was pleasant and encouraging. I found her voice to be calming when I could hear it. However, there was a speed-dating event scheduled at the same time so there was a constant din of conversation noise that was loud. I have hearing issues and that level of ambient noise made it difficult for me to hear the yoga instructor even with her having a microphone. The interior of the venue is filled with installations from local artists. I would like to come back for just a social gathering. I think it would be great for that.

We had 5 pm reservations but went in closer to 6 pm, after having visited their onsite bar, the Night Owl. Their craft cocktails were great and on par with craft cocktail pricing. The staff were all really accommodating and friendly. They didn't bat an eye when we asked about timing: can we grab a drink before we go in? Sure! And the experience itself? Super creative, attention to detail all over the place. And, there are differing levels of a scavenger hunt just to make things even more interesting. The exhibits change every so often so if you haven't been to this one, def go before a new installation is added.
