Our son was a bit nervous for the first meeting as he didn't really know what to expect, but as soon as LeeAnn came in, she put our son at ease. She is so friendly and works great with kids. During the first meeting, she did an assessment to see where he is at. She then met with Taylor who runs Sprout Reading and they developed a plan for him. I really appreciated that they did this, because they could've just helped him read some books that we have at our house or helped him with some of his homework. I really appreciated how thorough everything was. After just a couple of meetings, she was able to explain to me exactly where it seemed that he was struggling. And, then she got to work on helping him through those areas. In just one month, we have already seen an improvement in his reading abilities. His confidence has increased, and his teacher at school has noticed as well. He is a lot more excited about reading and is more eager to try reading things on his own. We are very excited to see where this takes him in the next few months. Our son also has pretty severe ADHD, and LeeAnn has been wonderful in supporting him with that. Miss Portia and Miss Katie are nothing short of amazing!! Some people are just born to be teachers and they both are. I don't know how they do it. You can actually feel the love they have for each individual child that comes through the doors. My son loves them and tells me he wants to stay at Sunshine and doesn't want to go to kindergarten. I found Sunshine through Google. We came and sat in a class and were blown away. My son took to it like a fish to water and signed him up right there on the spot. I wanted a Co-op preschool. Not just because you can't beat the price, but also I wanted to be able to work in the classroom and see my child grow and flourish. I also loved that Sunshine is like a little community. Every parent there wants the same thing and works together to make sure the children get the most out of their experience. I can honestly say that I have made friendships here that will last a lifetime. Another reason we were sold on Sunshine is the amount of supervision the children get. Not only is there a teacher but also four parents working at all times to help. I know some other preschools that only had one teacher and have heard the horror stories. I always felt like my son was safe when I dropped him off at school and to me that was priceless! We can't wait to come back to Sunshine with our youngest, we would never go anywhere else. Crystal truly loves these kiddos like her own, and is so patient with them, and from our very first day here, I've felt nothing but 100% trust and peace of mind when my daughter is at school. The teachers were super fun and highly engaging while still maintaining an educational approach. The activities entertained my kids, allowing me to listen and ask questions about information regarding the educational programs Vine Education offers. Monica, the Education Director, explained the class schedules and pricing for the math and English programs I was interested in and made a recommendation for each of my three kids' educational needs. She even told me about the sibling discount for enrolling all three of them. I can tell she is passionate about education and wants to help all her students achieve their educational goals. We are very grateful for Jason and Soundscape Music! My two children have been with the school for…read moreseveral years and they have helped my children prepare and book lead roles in movies, tv shows and commercials. If it wasn't for Jason and his instructors, my son would not have started in the entertainment industry. Jason is always hands on and around making sure his instructors are doing their jobs and parents are getting their money's worth. After explaining to him what our goals were, he knew exactly who to pair us with. The first big audition my son had, Jason was there to "oversee" his lessons, audition tape, call back tapes, prepared him to meet with the director and producers- until he booked the role!!! We have not gone anywhere else since! Both my children also play piano, guitar and drums- the instructors are all amazing, so great with kids and make it fun and enjoyable learning at the same time. As a business owner I want to be clear that this review is not aimed at the teachers who work for…read morethis company. They shine and are professional and fantastic. This is aimed at the owner, Jason Cheng who runs and operates the business. His assertive communication style is regulated on unwavering restrictions that seem to "school" parents. He gives 3 days after submitting an invoice for corrections and then is unwilling to make adjustment He charged us for lessons on Mondays (we are Tuesdays) and after correcting charged us for Xmas Eve and New Years Eve. When I asked to adjust and remove these holidays he "schooled me" that it was past the 3 day limit and then sent me a text as though he was bending over backwards to accommodate us on Nationally registered Holidays. Really? there are more places to have my daughter take music lessons- Be careful as I would advise to steer clear and pay teachers directly!!!! Your management service is not a benefit Jason :)
