Really? The view walking out of Waldorf's
    Tamara T.

Waldorf is off the busy streets across from a marsh field called Fairview Park which leads up to the Santa Ana River Trail. Heard a lot about Waldorf and that they offer a unique and diverse curriculum and witnessed it tonight at the screening of Screenagers. Found out two of my cousins worked there and they described it as a magical school comparable to Hogwarts. The screening was held in the auditorium and was packed with students from kindergarten to high school and their parents. The students were in the back working hard selling refreshments and light appetizers. The teacher/emcee stood in front of the stage and kindly waited for everyone to quiet down looking stoic over the crowd. She didn't yell or announce we were about to begin and the students in the audience shushed everyone and gave the eyes forward motion. After the film we were asked to engage in a discussion about the film we just saw and the parents were a little shy at first but then the questions and comments started flying. Parents were agreeing and disagreeing with each other but all the while being very polite to each other and grateful to Waldorf for the type of community they've built. During the discussion a young kid came by with a trash bag to each row and was collecting any trash people may have had. I don't know what the kids are like now a days (I don't have any) but seeing the kid collecting trash and pitching in just spoke volumes to me. Screenagers is a great doc for parents to watch and just gives us a warning of what's to come. One student in the film got so sucked into gaming that he dropped out of college and had to go to an internet rehab facility in Washington State. It gives parents reasons why giving their child a smartphone will or could diminish parts of their brain, why multi-tasking is actually bad, how and when to give their child their own coveted smartphone and warns them about their child's future sleep condition, insomnia or lack of sleep due to excessive and addictive "screen time." So yeah, if you're lucky enough to have a wiz-kid that enrolls in Waldorf consider yourself a parent that's done a great job.

I guarantee you that you will feel happy, safe and forever more grateful for each person that works there. They update you with photo's throughout the day very attentive to email's and messages via their app. When I was desperate for child care since my job wasn't going to be remote anymore They took us in and made it work. I went through a financial crisis and they never turned us down and helped us to get financial relief and directed us to the right people to give my JJ the extra support he needed. Till this day we miss them dearly and we hold them very close to our hearts JJ has become more talkative and has managed to learn how to engage with others. They treat you just like family and are willing to go above and beyond happy tears come each time I think of them because thanks to them we accomplished alot and held our hand through each process

We enrolled my oldest child after moving in 2019 and the teachers made the transition seamless. At this point, 3 of my kids have gone (or are going) to pre-school here. The remodel of the backyard and playground, the fun learning centers in the classroom, the thoughtful ways they encourage the children to play and learn, I've been super impressed and couldn't be happier. My kids are always excited to go to school and see their teachers and friends - and they really have learned important life lessons (whole body listening, respect for themselves and others, empathy, how to be flexible). It puts my mind at ease to know they are learning and growing at school and will be prepared to rock it going in to elementary school! I can't recommend ACP enough!

She's learned so much since starting Mini Bambini -- making friends, sharing, and expressing herself. On top of that, their home-cooked meals are amazing: always fresh and nutritious. The daily activities are engaging and well-planned -- it's clear the kids aren't just being watched, they're learning and growing every day. We've seen real development in our son socially and emotionally since starting here. The caretakers are absolutely amazing. They are patient, attentive, and genuinely care about the children. That peace of mind as a parent is priceless. Another big plus is the food -- it's healthy, fresh, and well prepared. Our son eats very well there, which says a lot. Most importantly, he loves going every single day... and in the evenings he often doesn't want to leave. That alone tells us everything we need to know. We're very grateful to have found Mini Bambini and highly recommend it to any parents looking for a nurturing and positive daycare environment in Irvine.
