This is the best maid service I have ever had! My apartment was a mess after being vacant for a couple of months. Before the service it was covered by dust and dirt. Molly Maid sent 2 lovely ladies to help with the situation. The estimation was 3 hours, but they finished the job in 2 hours. The work is really professional and amazing. They cleaned basically everything, and also helped to put things in organization. My apartment is so shinny now : ) The ladies are very polite and considerate while dealing with their jobs. Didn't call to confirm my appointment (made 3 weeks prior) and charged me $100 to cancel. I told them I'd forgotten about the appointment and asked why they didn't bother to confirm it. They said they don't confirm appointments. I told them it's customary to call the day before and I reminded them that they were supposed to come out to give a quote 3 weeks prior, and didn't call to cancel in advance. I'd had to call them instead, 2 hours after they were supposed to be there. I wasn't compensated for my time then, but they expect me to pay a cancellation fee for an appointment they didn't bother to confirm. read more

Molly Maid of BCS was not a good company to work with, did NOT do a job well done, and was not honest when trying to remedy to situation. Please do not hire them. Full story: My husband hired Molly Maid of BCS to clean our house for Mother's Day! We've never had anyone professionally clean our house, and it needed a good clean desperately. They came Friday, May 10 at 1pm, and left at 4:30pm. This cleaning was $470 + tip. I walked through the doors, and I was immediately upset. I went and put my finger across the countertops, and dust and crumbs came up. There were spit up stains all over our floors still, and 2 parts of our walls in our bedroom still had dust all over the base boards. They did not touch the dining room. That's just some of it. We tried getting ahold of someone there, but they were closed for the weekend. I cried a lot Friday night, it was a lot of work to get ready for cleaners (if you have small kids, you get it). Saturday morning, we decided to make lemonade out of lemons, and we did it ourselves! We scrubbed and cleaned baseboards, windows and our shower. By Mother's Day, the house looked mostly like I wanted it to! This morning we contacted the company asking to remedy the situation since it was $470, and the work was not $470 work. We asked for a refund, hoping for even a partial one, considering that $470 is A LOT of money. We were met with them saying they could send someone out to fix it. We had already cleaned ourselves, as the whole point was to have a clean home by Mother's Day. We said we would like a refund instead. They said no, and said we could have cleaners now, or schedule a clean in the future for a discount ‍ someone working there also told us that their owner was out for the next 2 weeks. My husband showed up in person, and lo and behold the owner was IN OFFICE. All this to say, Molly Maid BCS is NOT a reputable company. Please do not make the same mistake we did and hire them for any services. We are out almost $500 and had to redo their work for them. read more

Just not very thorough, and tried to leave my house far more dirty than it started. They cleverly left dozens of very obvious, dirty shoeprints in my house (despite being promised they would wear shoe covers) and used that as my warranty clean, meaning they ignored me about the other issues I found less than 24hr later. MaidPro was a lot better (and not even particularly good), this left me unimpressed with Neighborly services. The ladies were nice though, so I feel bad leaving just one star. It's not enough to make up for how, in service alone, Molly Maid is bottom tier. read more

I have used Molly Maids in Bryan for over 5 years. I received no call for my biweekly service today. I contact the office to discover the team is still cleaning a house from the previous day. At 12:00 I contact the office again. Molly Maids cleans two homes on our property and they still were not here. I requested from the beginning of service to be the first clean of the day because the team has to drive an hour to our home from college station. I was told today that Molly Maid does not guarantee a time preference. If I had known this, I would of quit using Molly Maids years ago. I canceled because we have people coming over at 6:00. Now I am being charged an.$87.00 lock out fee. Seriously, this is the type of customer service you get from Molly Maids. This review is about the office staff. They hardly ever answer the phone. If you leave a message regarding a cancellation, they claim they never got it. Even though the manager admits they saw the caller ID and know when you called and that you left a message but nothing came through on their end! Then says they WILL be charging the 97.00 cancellation fee even though you gave more than enough notice. They say it's because I never received a confirmation call back but nothing in their paperwork OR online says that you will receive one! She refused to give adequate contact for her boss when asked. She claims she is the site manager but refused to give information that a manager would know they are responsible for giving if requested. She only said she would give an email address. How do I know they will actually get an email? I would not recommend using a company that treats people this way. read more

I thought I was crazy for having such a bad experience with Molly Maid, but then I saw Terry's review. I had a very similar experience! I paid for a pre-move in clean that should have been very simple. I approved up to 2 hours of cleaning, and they only took 1.5. And yet when I arrived, there were spots on all the faucets that looked like soap or toothpaste, hairs in the tubs, dog hair in the carpet, and spots in the fridge and microwave. Beyond the clean, what was most upsetting was the way the situation was handled. The only option was a re-clean which wasn't an option because I had already moved in and cleaned it myself, or for me to get a discount on 5 additional services. (Side note: WHY would anyone book 5 more cleanings if they were unsatisfied with the first one?!) I was wholly disappointed and recommend finding an individual cleaner in the future - that's what I'll do too. read more

I have used MM for 7 years. The last 5 1/2 years have been very good however the last 4 times I have used them for both standard cleaning always with emphasis on dusting my home. I live in a 2 bedroom 900 sq ft apartment. the pricing was normally 100 to 125 per visit. They were never asked to do window treatments or sills. Focus was mainly on ceiling fans and furniture dusting but i always came home to having to dust behind them. That was not my intent. I would call, they would apologize and still was charged the full amount. It was very frustrating after the 3rd trip. Most recent, in August I again complained about the dusting issue. Again I was brushed off with an apology and paying full amount of $132. I have had enough of being brushed aside. I will not use them again. We started using Molly Maids after our regular housekeeper could no longer come, in late October. We don't have the same girls each time but every visit so far we have been beyond pleased. I honestly don't think our house has ever been this clean. They do such a thorough job. They are always on time. And the ladies are very professional. My only complaint is we are outside Hearne and the price is pretty steep. We have them come every other week. If the price was a little more reasonable I would definitely have them come every week. After my disastrous experience with another service in town, I was somewhat hesitant to try a maid service again. Why do I, a normal middle-class citizen, use a maid service? 1) Who likes spending what little off-time they get cleaning their home? I mean...I work hard all week, so I want to come home and not do more hard work. 2) I never seem to make any headway in cleaning. I clean one thing, and realize something else is dirty, and then all month it's just clean, clean, clean. 3) I have pretty bad allergies. One of my main allergies is dust mites. Anyway, I would definitely recommend Molly Maid. They always send over two people, do a really great job. The only complaint I ever have is that sometimes in their quest for cleanness, they go overboard and put things away...and then I can't find them later for a few seconds. But, usually they put them in the most logical place, so...that's fine. Having less dust in my house is a real boon to my allergies. Other services have skipped items such as vacuuming under the couch and cleaning the face of the kitchen cabinets, but I feel like Molly Maid has done a thorough job in these areas. read more

I live over a thousand miles from my daughter, a college student at Texas A&M. Her roommate graduated & moved out leaving a huge mess while my daughter was away for 2 weeks. When she returned home she was overwhelmed by a filthy stinky house and I live too far away to come help. I made one simple phone call to Molly Maids and was greeted with complete professionalism and empathy. A crew of two was sent to my daughters home the very next day! When my daughter returned home that afternoon she was so excited she sent several videos showing me how clean everything was!! For a mother who lives half way across the United States from her child, seeing them upset is heartbreaking. Molly Maids saved the day and I am so thankful for how hard those ladies must have worked to get everything sparkling again!! read more

Before I give my complaints I want to say that the ladies who did the cleaning did a great job, I have no issues with the clean they gave me. Where I have issues is with the company's customer service. I lived in a house with three roommates and when we were moving out we wanted to just have someone do the cleaning for us, and we received a 15% off coupon in the mail for molly maid so we decided we'd just use their service. My first issue was I requested a quote online on their website thinking I'd get an email or promoted for info to get an an automatic quote but instead I got a message saying they'd call me. Ok, that's fine, but I missed the first call that came about 30 mins after my request. No voicemail, but I looked up the number and saw it was them so I called right back at like 9:30am. Got an estimate (for like $170-250) made an appointment and thought that was it. But no, I got a call every hour on the hour with a voicemail left each time that was 3 seconds of silence. I was at work so I couldn't answer and I saw these like 5 missed calls later and made sure to catch the next one. Apparently they didn't know that I got my estimate, but even then there is absolutely no reason that I need them to call me repeatedly. One call with a voicemail asking me to call back is all I need, please don't harass my phone. I almost cancelled the appointment but I decided to follow through. My appointment was made for the AFTERNOON so I was going to stop by the old house and turn the AC back on that morning and get the rest of my stuff loaded into my car before they came, but at 8:30 am I get woken up by a phone call telling me they're on the way. Not asking if it's ok to send a team hours ahead of schedule, just announcing they were coming. So I rush over there and then find that apparently it's going to cost double my estimate in like the $400 range supposedly because of the condition of our house, which really wasn't terrible. So after chatting on the phone with the office we decided to have the team only do the bare minimum clean, which I wasn't thrilled to do but I wasn't about to pay significantly more. Bottom line: the company needs to stop whatever policy they have that involves calling customers repeatedly. Just leave a voicemail and I'll call back. Also don't just send teams out whenever you want, at least call first to see if it's ok. It was just ridiculous. read more

I scheduled them to come clean my house. When they showed up to clean the house they spent about 45 minutes walking around the house talking (apparently about what needs to be done) which would be fine except they charged me for that time. Then they started and after about 15 minutes of cleaning they came and said that it was too hot in the house to keep cleaning. Now granted it was the middle of the summer in Texas but I had been hauling stuff inside to outside all day long in the same house and it was not that hot. I was moving out the following Monday and it was already Saturday so I had to have my house cleaned. They told me they could only come back if I got my landlord to come look at the A/C by Sunday afternoon which was next to impossible. My dad and I told them that we needed them to clean or we wouldn't be paying as they had not done any work. They said that they were charging us for an hour and ten minutes including the time they just walked around talking. We told them we were not paying so they had their office charge my credit card without permission. They were rude and unhelpful and the little work they did do was left half way done as they poured powder in the sink and tub but did not even rinse it out. I will never use molly maids again and I will never recommend them. We called back later and the phone operator was incredibly rude to my mom and dad and they refused to give us any sort of refund. Luckily my landlord was very nice and got another company to come clean that she had a good relationship with. I was told an estimate of 450-600 dollars for our very small house. They charged me 115 dollars for them doing nothing. The other company my landlord got charged us somewhere between 200-300 to do the whole house. I am writing this review as other should be aware should this happen to them...I used Molly Maids for approx. 7 visits.. When first starting with them I was told there are coupons in the "Brazos Weekly" to use for service...I was also mailed coupons from the company...There were a couple of things that were not up to par and the first time I did mention it and corrected it myself...the second time I called and explained. I was give $15 of the price of the service...At this time I also had a $25 off coupon for the 5the visit...The appointment was made and I called to confirm the date, time and coupon is on file... It was then told to me that there is a limit as to the number of coupons used..it is 5...Now I really did not mind that however they counted the $15 (bad service discount) as coupon and did not listen... The quality of their cleaning is terrible. I hired them bc i have one dog, one cat ad 2 people in a 1600sf home. The purpose was to get under beds, behind things, baseboards, etc, to get the dust bunnies and pet hair. They do not move furniture; i understand this. HOWEVER, they also would not move an ottoman to vacuum under, until i specifically asked, or clean behind a large mirror that was only LEANING against the wall. I was told on the first cleaning (which i came home and inspected) that the vacuum they used was not good for pets and lots of customers complained, and that the unit would not reach all the way under a bed, i said welcome to use mine, and a broom, please. Well, they came 5x, every other week. This last time i asked for a supervisor to accompany the 2 person crew. I spoke to the superv, she took notes, offered a 10% disc, and said she'd be with them. I also left post it notes to point out my issues. Nope. And no follow up from the superv. There were other issues but too long as it stands. I've terminated their services. read more

I have used several different cleaning services over the past 15 years and I have had some very good services and not so good. I was extremely satisfied with Molly Maids of Bryan/College Station. I have a fairly large home that takes me all day to clean on my own. While I love knowing I don't miss even the smallest of details, Molly Maids is the first home cleaning company I did not have to go behind and "reclean my house" the moment they left my home. I am a bit OCD when it comes to having a tidy house. Cindy and Sandra have been to my home twice. I will continue to ask for them, specifically. I know their commitment and loyalty to Molly Maids (and specifically me and my home) and making sure their clients are 100% happy, are hard traits to find. The attention to detail from these two young women will keep me as a loyal customer! They are certainly not the least expensive service in town, but they are the best! read more
