I was out and about and got hungry.. anyone sensitive to gluten knows how difficult it is to find a safe meal in a pinch. I decided to give Jersey Mikes a try but I gotta admit I was Soooo nervous. I was warmly greeted, and to my surprise no scoffs or annoyance when I requested Gluten free. The person helping me "Will" was so incredibly kind. He asked what I'd like on my sandwich .. I replied, "A little of everything!" When I tell you this man went TO THE BACK of the store to pull out FRESH INGREDIENTS that had zero risk of cross contamination. Most Chick-Fil-A's have you in and out so fast, almost as if your order is bagged while you place it. This location is very slow. Drive thru full? It's slow. Drive thru empty? Still somehow slow. The staff is friendly but my goodness they take their time getting your order out. Other times I've gotten my order when I'm the 4th or 5th car in line and wait 5-8 minutes before the other cars in front of me get their order and I'm able to get out of the drive thru. I've been asked to park and wait for simple menu items and received one bag with room temperature food and one that's so hot it could melt steel.
