Located near the Target in town with tons of parking. First time I've eaten at this chain and I can say that they really make good sandwiches. We went for lunch - I had the Newk's Q Sandwich with chips as a side. The sandwich was super delicious and I actually had to stash the chips for later as I was full. The lady who took the order was nice and the food came out pretty quickly. The cost wasn't too bad either. Women's bathroom was clean when we used it. Food has always been good but the service has improved. They have installed new (to them) technology at the cash register. They used to have to slide your credit card themselves. Now, you can do that yourself. You also see your order on a screen. They also give you the opportunity to tip. read more

Food is always good, the staff is always nice, but get some new seat covers for the benches in the booth! Most of them are all ripped up.

Very disappointed. Sandwich/ chicken was so dry. The dining area was very dirty . Was not busy when we went and staff could have cleaned area but instead stayed on phone and talked with each other . Newk's is one of my favorite restaurants to visit. Their chicken salad sandwich is awesome. I like how you can add or subtract ingredients you want using their app. The restaurant is always clean and they have fast friendly service. They are one of the best at getting your order correct the first time. My only complaint is their tea is never steeped long enough. It needs to be darker in color. That way you get more of the tea flavor. I would definitely recommend Newk's to family and friends. read more

Awesome as always! I am so jealous that we don't have one of these where I live! You get plenty of food for your money and will not leave hungry! The bbq chicken pizza is always my favorite! They didn't have the crab bisque today so I tried the loaded potato soup. It was very good but it can't beat that bisque! I want to start by saying I would give the customer service a 5. When we walked in we were promptly treated by an employee (i wish I caught her name- she closed on Thursday night, and graduates college in December) The cleanliness was a 5, only reason I gave a 3 star was the chicken on my daughter and husbands pizza was terrible. It was very bland and dry. Luckily I had swapped out the chicken on my pizza for shrimp. They both had a bite of mine and said my pizza was way better then theirs. It was unfortunate that we had to throw away both of their pizzas. My husband had the crab and lobster bisque and he really enjoyed it (luckily since this was all he had) My daughter and my salads were also good. So upon arrival, I thought the place was closed because there were no cars in the parking lot but luckily it wasn't. When we entered the establishment, we were taken care of right away which is great because I came with my kids. I ordered a half caesar salad and a regular sized cheese pizza and it was $12! *** AVOID! Not clean. Sanitation a real issue! HEALTH RISK! *** Extremely disappointed and uncomfortable.. Visited Newks for the first time on Sunday between 3 and 4 pm. It was empty. Took a while before we were helped. My wife and I both ordered a sandwich and soup. We noticed almost every table had trash and food. I don't mean that in a "every table - but really like 2", I mean well over a dozen at least.. The hostess said, "sorry about the mess, I haven't gotten around to it". We sat outside and it was a disaster. I mean, I've actually never seen something so bad. We were there for over an hour and the hostess never moved. She sat on her phone and never cleaned a single table. The iced tea was not good and I was concerned about sanitation honestly.. I don't think the dispenser has ever been cleaned and I felt like drinking it might make me sick. It tasted off. The chicken salad sandwich was disappointing and the bread was very tough to bite into. The lobster bisque that I was looking forward to must have come pre-made and frozen. All I could taste was cheese. Plastic utensils and 1 napkin each, but I let that pass because it may be a COVID restriction. We had to go and ask for the bill and when I said thank you to the 3 staff working, they just looked at me with dead expressions... I'm not sure if this is normal or if this is how things run when management isn't around and just young employees are there, but I was actually appalled. Mind you, the state of the restaurant didn't bother me at first - perhaps they were swamped before we got there, but over an hour went by, with us as THE ONLY people there, and they never busted a single table. I did not take a picture because I didn't want to scare people away, but wow... I mean, wow... I only ate half my sandwich because I felt so uncomfortable with the sanitary conditions. read more

I have always gotten great customer service here before today. Ordered a kid's pizza, but instead of pepperoni, I asked for mushrooms, as I have MANY times in the past. A woman, who I assumed is one of the mangers, refused to do it because she said that she has never heard of a child who does not eat meat! How can you work in the restaurant business and not know what a vegetarian or a vegan is...absurd! Furthermore, pepperoni cost more than mushrooms!!! Why did she even care?! She is clearly underexposed and just wanted to be difficult because she could...DEFINITELY NOT management material! The restaurant was EMPTY except for me & two other people during DINNER time...why not just provide good customer services to the FEW customers that you have. Of all the eateries in all of the world I know none that have salads like nukes eatery does. From Newk's Favorite to the black and bleu, you will not find more generous portions and delicious ingredients freshly served than here! it has a wonderful ambience in a pleasant atmosphere. The Tigertown location has super friendly staff and the service is prompt. I would have given five stars out of five however the seating in this location is very old and some of it is broken because of the high number of people that visit this location. In my opinion Newk's corporate should've replaced the seating at this spot along time ago. The food however is above reproach! read more

Ordered immediately, no wait. Food arrived promptly and was appropriate temperature. I chose the Crab and Corn Chowder with a Caesar Salad. Should have chosen the cup instead of bowl of chowder, only because really was more than I needed portion size. I usually have a very hearty appetite, so this was a little surprising. First time trying the chowder and I was not disappointed. A little on the spicy side not too much so for me, but I could see it being too much for some. Caesar salad was fairly typical appropriate portion size. Fortunately I had already requested a slice of Pineapple cake to go, which was brought along with my main course. It was not exactly what I expected but not displeased. It was essentially a white cake with vanilla icing with pineapple between the layers. Yum! I ordered an ahi tuna salad - a big salad of mixed greens, grape tomatoes, cucumber, radish, carrots, wonton strips, and seared sliced tuna. I got the ginger wasabi dressing on the side, which had peanut-y flavor. Lots of greens, lots of veggies, not too many wonton strips, tuna not overdone - I thought this was a great salad! My husband got a pesto chicken sandwich - chicken, roasted bell peppers, goat cheese, pesto. He said it was awesome! Freshly roasted peppers were still warm, goat cheese was a little melty. Bread to filling ratio was great, and the bread was soft inside but crisp outside - perfect! We don't live in this area so this was a first for us, but would definitely return if in town again! Didn't have a load of okra (for me this was better). Thought they made a mistake and brought me a bowl of soup. As I was leaving, realized their cups were large. Well want a disappointment it was so dirty I was afraid we would get food poisoning, we weren't the only customers discussed we over heard a couple saying they are leaving because of how gross it was.
