I don't have baked goods often - If I use my limited quota, it has to be something good, or at least not mediocre. Perhaps I came at the wrong time or ordered the wrong items? I was beyond frustrated when I had first bite of the Citrus Croissant - $4.50, pricing in line with the premium location but completely unacceptable for it being undercooked - doughy, not flaky because it was still raw. Coffee - $3, luke warm, been sitting in the brewer for too long. The two stars are for the girl who was very friendly and validated parking, great plus. It did look good, but the egg that came with it was sunny side up egg. I don't eat anything with a soft yolk. So make sure when you ordered this dish that you asked for it with a scrambled egg, if that is what you want. other than that I think the place is quite nice in a good location across from Georgia tech and not too bad for a Sunday as far. as the crowd is concerned. The matcha float at momo cafe was one of the best matcha drinks I've ever had! It was refreshing on a hot summer day and it wasn't too sweet. You have the option of adding more sugar syrup if you wanted (they provided it at the bar). The matcha was a good mix of milk, and wasn't too strong or diluted like other places. The sugar biscuit on the side was also a nice touch to it. Don't be tricky and demand service tips when you offer a service that make Mc Donalds seems like a 5 star restaurant! They charge $15 for a ramen size Small, with 3 pieces of bamboo shoots, 1/2 egg and 3 pieces of pork. I am not kidding! The soup is so fatty, I feel like I am eating drinking oily water. Ewww! My bill is a total of $90 for 2 small bowls of ramen, 2 matcha ice cream (small cups), 1 coffee, 1 tiny bottle of sake (that costs less than $2 at the store).This is my first time and maybe it was just a one-off bad experience, but to be honest, I don't think I will ever come back here again. The fact these are different business pages confuses me because some of the reviews posted on this page really sound like they should be for the Momonoki page. If you've seen my Momonoki review, well, you know my feelings. The cafe side, however, home run. The guy who was taking our order was really friendly. The black sesame soft serve ($5.5) was delicious. It was sooo smooth and really flavorful. I didn't realize the matcha swirl came with black sesame when I ordered, otherwise I would've gotten that, but it looks great - definitely insta-worthy. My friend said the matcha flavor is overpowered by the black sesame so maybe I didn't miss out? My friend also got a matcha lemon tart to go. I should've gotten one too. I really wanted to try it. It looks really cute. They also gave us a free croissant with some matcha syrup and filled with strawberry cream. It was GOOD. I could see it being great for breakfast and coffee. While I don't think you'd miss out if you opted not to go to Momonoki, definitely make a trip to Momo Cafe for some delicious pastries. I haven't tried them all, so I can't speak for all of their other things, but the things I did have here were great. read more

If you love Matcha, then this is place. I had the Matcha Lemonade. It was incredible. Very tart and refreshing, and if you're there later in the evening, it can even be made into a cocktail with vodka for an additional surcharge. I also had the Matcha Brownie. That was the perfect balance of sweetness and a really delightful almost mochi-like texture. The upstairs seating was nice, and it was a nice overlook of the highway that goes through Atlanta and Georgia Tech's campus. The only downside is that this place is pricy. Visiting from SF for work and walked down to this place from my hotel for an afternoon energy boost based on many strong yelp reviews. So cute, and everything I had was delicious and presented beautifully. I had a matcha latte that came with a small strawberry cream pastry that they frost when you order. The pastry was creamy and decadent without being too sweet or overpowering. Matcha latte was smooth, perfect temperature, excellent matcha - again, not overpowering. So often, matcha lattes are bitter or too strong - this one was just right. Also ordered a bacon scallion scone that did not disappoint. If I lived in mid town Atlanta, I would come here all the time. The coffee smelled really good too, and I'm thinking of trekking down here tomorrow morning to try it. I must say, Momo Cafe and Momonoki are both about to have all of my earnings lol I am already planning to come back after an awesome and productive workday here on Saturday. I truly enjoyed my lunch at momonoki and before I thought it couldn't get any better, fell in love with the cafe aspect of this trendy Japanese concept. I love love love black sesame lattes which are actually quite hard to find in the perimeter. So when I spotted one on the menu I knew it was a must-have. My latte was the perfect balance of nutty and sweet flavor. So warming and calming as I got centered to work. For a lovely dessert after my lunch, I enjoyed a tiramisu which was literally to die for. It was so light and creamy, I have been craving another ever since. The service from the barista ladies was awesome and I felt so warm and welcomed I will be a regular here. Nice place to stop for matcha, pastries and soft serve in ATL. They have WiFi and a nice quiet upstairs seating area to get work done. The drinks are delicious. My only complaint is the amount they charge for vegan / plant-based milk alternatives.. I have NEVER in my life had to pay $2.50 extra for almond milk. It's $1.50 for oat milk. for a drink that already cost $5, it's prettttty steep. I wouldn't go here very often for that reason. But hopefully they will make some changes soon. read more

Took my family here for a quick brunch since the menu looked fabulous. Ordered the cheesecake, sushi sandwich, and tonkatsu ramen. In terms of taste, everything was pretty good except for the ramen which was lackluster. As many have noted, the portions are pretty small for what you're paying, but since this is kinda a "boutique" Cafe, I expected as much. The customer service was almost nonexistent, and indifferent at best. The girl who greeted us and took our temperature was friendly but thats where the warmth ended. After that, food was pretty much just dropped off at our table. They somehow lost my friends sandwich and labeled it as a pick up instead of dine in. When they found it, the server assumed my friend was wrong and told her its because she picked wrong on the app, to which my friend whipped out her phone to show her otherwise. Idk.
