I had a really nice chat with one of the owners there and they all seem like really lovely people--kind hearted with little kids around so hopefully they stay around for some time! They were still redoing the front of house so not sure when they will open fully but looking forward to trying more Azerbaijan food. Since I've never had Azerbaijan food before, I asked for a recommendation and he said all of the food is good but did say that the chicken shawarma was big and I was feeling a bit hungry so went with that. It came with fries and some peppers, which reminded me of banana peppers. Not spicy with a briney taste to it, great accompaniment. He also tossed in this yogurt drink (I didn't get the name) that was tasty. Overall, good food and will be back to try their lamb kebabs and the burger as well and interested to see what their pizzas will be like as well. Love seeing small family businesses like this and hope they do well!

This is their most recommended dish and for good reason. Side of fries were nice and crispy too: I also tried the grilled chicken plate and that was pretty good as well. Again, good portion! On my first visit, they offered a drink for free and I tasted the Ayran (yogurt based drink). Friendly people. Next time, I'll try the Baku Chicken sandwich. Btw, it's in a small parking lot next to a restaurant, and you should have parking spots at the back. There always seems to be a decent crowd occupying the tables near the food truck.

The food came out fairly quickly as well. The chef special and the malai soya chaap is what we ordered. Both are so spectacular and flavorful in their own ways. the lentils and the varying sauces were my favorite, especially when mixed together with the rest of the dish. also very pleasantly surprised that the chef special came with a drink + dessert. the chai is EPIC !! best chai i've had here in the bay area . thank you to the chefs and staff here at bhajan sahib .

The quantities are large and can be easily shared. Now soy chaap is one of the most unhealthy foods one can consume. It's made of processed oils, all purpose flour and bit of soy. But, it's widely consumed by vegetarians these days as an alternative to meat due to its meat like texture. I had some really outstanding soy chaap from a place in Fremont and haven't been able to find anything else that comes close to it. The version here though decent fell short on the flavor. The smoky aftertaste was kind of missing. The chow mein on the other hand was beautifully done. I can see why this place is rated so high.

This isn't just a food joint but it's an experience!…read more Vegetarian reviewer: To start with, I am not usually a big fan of too many eggs on my plate, but I thoroughly enjoyed their innovative creations. They have interesting dishes with paneer and chicken as well. We ordered two dishes- Leela lasun keema - This dish was intriguing, with cheese, grated egg, and a rich, spicy gravy. The portion size was generous; a single person won't be able to finish it with just three breads. It was very filling, we took back home the leftover and enjoyed it later with some rotis. They have another version of this- "kachu" with runny eggs instead of grated eggs.. well thought option! Volcano egg biryani- The dish is as interesting as its name suggests. The base is an omelette, and the rice is flavorful with bell peppers, finely chopped veggies, and aromatic spices. The center is with a tomato-based curry. The cheese on the side was amazing, and I loved it. The spicy guava drink is super refreshing with a playful mix of spice, salt, sourness, and the sweetness of guava. I really enjoyed it! They have music playing and the place is lit, creating a total vibe for spending time in the evening on a lazy weekend/ after work, or post-workout. The food is pure indulgence and covered our protein requirements with eggs, along with some fat to burn off. Kinda guilt free. Also, they have games, garba events and other many interesting things going on at different times. Superb vibes, never disappoints! Conveniently located in Sunnyvale - easy to find parking. Ask the owners for their recommendations based on your preferences. They are very nice to talk to and are super passionate about this truck, having brought something they loved from New York to the Bay Area.

If you're looking for something warm and soulful while boosting your immune system: Kadhi Kachori! A specialty at Chatpata India, Kadhi Kachori ($11.99) is North Indian Street Food of curry with a fried fritter: https://tinyurl.com/te656uwn The turmeric-rich, yogurt-based curry is served piping hot with a large lentil fritter sliced into triangular pieces. A fantastic balance of bold tangy flavors and crispy-soft textures with the raw diced onions giving a sweet sharpness. My only gripe is I requested it to be spicy but it was more mild-medium spicy. Maybe they thought we couldn't handle the heat so requesting desi spicy next time. Equally delicious is their Dahi Sev Puri w/ potatoes, tamarind + mint cilantro chutney, yogurt, sev (8 pc - $7.99): https://tinyurl.com/2rvnu4k3 The crunchy shell (semolina-based) is filled with spiced potatoes, topped with myriad of sauces, crunchy sev (fried chickpea noodles), and something tart...reminiscent of pomegranate seeds. Great contrasting textures and punchy flavors from the chutneys. Overall, Kadhi Kachori is not the easiest thing to find so Chatpata India is def worth a visit you're in the area!
