Get the chicken and chicken chili momo! It was a random Sunday afternoon that I got to spend by myself while Gavin's at the temple learning about Buddhism and Vietnamese. I drove to the temple in Palo Alto to visit my grandpa (his picture is there) and decided to get gas on my way back. Had no idea there was a food truck meet up here. I was determined to stop by after Costco. I was excited to see momos on the menu. That was the first truck I saw. I didn't eat it the same day. These tasted great, still. I microwaved them but if I wasn't super lazy, steaming them for a few minutes would do the trick. The chicken momos were succulent. The chicken chili momos were earthy and had some heat to it. The chili sauce it came w/ elevated the heat, it was spicy but super tolerable. Accepts cards. Service was friendly. Will be back!

This place came highly recommended by the hubby's coworkers, however we found the food to be very underwhelming and salty. We got the fried chicken momo, chili chicken momo, and Szechwan chow mein. The sauce (given on the side) for the momo was very salty and the chili momo itself was very salty as well. Giving the place three stars because the szechwan chow mein - mild in comparison to the overly salty momo sauce - was pretty good (it wasn't spicy though so I'm not sure how it differed from the regular chow mein that was on the menu. Overall, might try the other food trucks in this complex, but wouldn't come back for Momo Grill.

Tried different food here but never had a bad food experience than Chicken Manchurian, the smell of the meat and the way chicken was cooked is not that great. The taste of the Manchurian is very raw and didn't like the taste. They were supportive to give another different replacement item. The chicken fried momo and chicken fried rice are good, can try atleast one time. Won't recommend Chicken Manchurian here.

As a big fan of Nepalese food, I've tried quite a few great spots around the Bay Area. I was in the neighborhood and decided to give Momo Grill Truck a try for a quick lunch. The truck is conveniently located next to Costco, making it easy to find with plenty of parking, which is a plus. The service was fast. I went with the Chicken Manchurian, but unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The flavors were okay--not bad, but nothing memorable either. The biggest letdown was the portion size. While the prices are on par with other Nepalese food trucks, the portions felt quite small for an entree. Here's my breakdown: Taste: 3.5/5 - Decent, but nothing special Portion Size & Value for Money: 2.5/5 - Small portions for the price Parking & Location: 4/5 - Easy to find and park Overall: 3/5 - The momos might have been a better choice, but given the experience, I might explore other options next time.

No ambiance as this is only a take out place. This is the second time we picked up the food from here & i must say it was far better than how it was 2 years back. Everything was fresh, flavorful. Momos had lots of filling in them. Fried rice were not sticky and had moderate amount of oil. Totally satisfies your indo Chinese/nepalese street side food craving!

It's been our go to place for Veggie Chowmein Noodles and Veg Momos. Their chutneys are fresh and dishes has lots of vegetables.

This can be a great evening snack for anyone. Well steamed and light on stomach veg snack and I love the dip that they serve. They mention their apt preparation and pick up time. So you can chill in the car while you food is getting prepared. There a lot of food truck options available in the vicinity. Well light up area which gets busy in the evening.

We frequently visit this truck. Love their steamed momos both veggie and meat ones!! They never disappoint. The gobi manchurian though feels doused in too much ketchup. Fried rice is a tad bit dry but pretty good.

Was in the area so thought of ordering some pickup. Ended up getting the Chicken Chow Mein and Fried Momo (Chicken). The staff here is very helpful. They saw my 2 year old standing next to me and asked if any of the food was for her. And suggested to make the dish mild since the regular could be too spicy for her. +1 for going the extra mile. 1. Chicken Chow Mein: The noodles were very flavorful, even though the preparation was mild. Many places mess up the taste if you tell them make the dish mild. 2. Fried Momo (Chicken): Even though the food spent quite some time in my car, the momos were still crunchy on the outside. The stuffing was tasty, complemented by the hot sauce that comes with it. I'm down to drive 15 miles for this food :)

Went around 5pm on a Saturday. Not crowded, food came within 5 minutes. Ordered a veg fried momo and a steamed chicken momo. Forgot to take pictures of them but both were good. Veg fried momo - rating 4/5 Liked the filling mix on veg momo. It had mashed paneer, cabbage, onions, coriander leaves, grated carrot - seasoned with pepper powder and salt. The outer fried texture of the wrapper was ok but in hindsight I would go for steamed version given I don't like fried items as much. Chicken momo - rating 4/5 Seasoned keema chicken, good momos Both momos were served with a spicy chilli chutney and a milder chutney. The spicy chutney was a tad bit on spicier side for me and other friends.

There are many momo food trucks in the Bay Area and I have to say this is one of the best ones! I ordered chicken momo and vegetables chowmein last night. I will definitely be back for momo again. They were very juicy and filled with so much flavor. The wait wasn't too long (10 minutes) The chowmein was tasty as well but the momo were my favorite. They have two sauces - one that is red and the other that is more orange. Beware of their red sauce, it's pretty darn spicy! Tip: this food truck has a restaurant location as well, go over there if you want a place to sit outside or inside (when it's open)x

I paired my meal with a Nepal Ice Beer, which was refreshing and complemented the food perfectly. The highlight, without a doubt, was the Chicken Chilli. The balance of spice, salt, sweetness, and Chilli sauce was exceptional--every bite was perfectly seasoned. I've traveled across four continents--Asia, Europe, North America, and Australia--and I can honestly say this is one of the best Chicken Chilli dishes I've ever had. The flavor balance and execution were simply outstanding. Unfortunately, I had to rush to catch my flight, so I couldn't stay as long as I wanted. Even so, the meal left a lasting impression, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town. Highly recommended for anyone looking for incredible food, a relaxing atmosphere, and an unforgettable dining experience.

The other item that surprised us was the Prawn Helambu Aloo - it's not heavy at all, and if you like cilantro, you'll probably love it like I did! All the momos were delicious as well, I especially liked the ones that were deep fried. It was a great experience and I will for sure come back! 10/10 recommend!

They were one of the few places still open, and we're really glad we stopped in. The restaurant was quiet with only a couple of other tables, which made for a nice, relaxing lunch. Every dish tasted fresh and homemade, and the portions were huge for the price. Our favorite by far was the garbanzo bean roll. It was packed with flavor, and I'd honestly come back just for that. The Himalayan chicken was another winner. We ordered the dark meat, and it was incredibly juicy, tender, and perfectly cooked. We also tried the YYWAIWAI, a popular street food dish. It reminded me a little of chaat, but I was expecting more crunch. Ours was a little soft and soggy, so it's probably not something I'd order again. The only dish I'd skip is the garlic pesto naan. It was pretty flat, oily, and just didn't do much for us. Even with a couple of dishes that weren't our favorites, everything else was so good that we're already talking about coming back to explore more of the menu. It's always fun finding a spot that's a little off the beaten path, and this one definitely earned a return visit.
